 Kitakki looked around sniffing a few books and looking a few times to check out different books, flipping through them but putting them back and sighs getting bored with the whole process altogether. He shook his head lightly and hopped down off the highly raised area. Landing on his feet and making his way to the hallway taking a look around. He didn't know which way to look next, but decided to turn left and see where that took him, moving through to see doors going around him he blinked and opened another one to see what was inside this next one. Kitakki pushed lightly on the door and looked through, raising his eyebrow he moved in to find out what was next.

Save me from the nothing I've become Phoenix stayed quiet as she walked back into the castle, and through the hallways. Retracting her steps from earlier in the direction that she was pretty sure led to the library. Sure enough, Phoenix found it without a problem just a couple moments later. She stopped by the door, and turned to face Lucifer. "There ya go," she said, crossing her arms over her chest and nodding her head towards the door.
"Ya know, I should get a job as a tour guide around here," she joked, letting out a light chuckle. "It would help if they had maps around here," she added with a shrug. One of those 'you are here' maps would be helpful in a place of this size, she thought.

-Enter Library-
The library was only a short walk down the halls of the Pet annex and to the back left of the castle. Torn was quite confident in where he was going, even though just the library itself was much like a maze. cutting through the library was cutting at least twenty minutes off their walk. "Haven't been here for very long, have you?", He asked the girl in attempt to make light conversation. As he walked by the endless towering bookshelves he was still hunched over, he remembered coming to the library before and finding some very controversial books, most on the subject of necromancy and summoning the dead. The faint sound of a girl sobbing and voice could be heard from beyond the shelves, on the other side of the library.

Now that Misa knew where the library was, she would be able to come by and read or have a place that was nice and quiet. It was quiet in the library, however, there was the soft sound of someone crying in the air. The sound of it was unnerving so Misa stepped forward, closer to Torn.
"No, I just moved in recently. I take it you've been here for a while, since you know you're way around," Misa replied with a small smile.
A thought occurred to Misa; she came here willingly but did people like Torn do the same? They couldn't have since they would still be living a life in servitude. However, there were cases where one's entire world was being bound in servitude; perhaps they had come here willingly either way. Did Torn come here willingly?

Torn looked back to the girl and replied as they continued on through the library, weaving through the forest of books. "I came here a few months ago, it doesn't seem long, but it's long enough for me to familiarize myself with the castle.", They drew closer to the exit to the Master's annex, it seemed strange he knew exactly where to go. "It feels weird being on my own, but I'll be given to someone sooner or later, maybe then I could be of use again." For a moment he wondered if the young Mistress was still in need of a slave, she didn't seem to be like the other Masters he was used to and commonly fell into possession of. He thought of nice it would be ... Not to be abused for once.
After a bit more navigating through the isles and shelves, they finally reached the doors back to the Master's annex. Torn opened the door for the young girl and lowered his head once more, as he did in the Salve's quarters. "not much farther now, just down the hall.", Torn echoed to the girl.

 Lucifer walked after her, through the rooms and found himself in the biggest library on earth, literally, since the biggest library ever was in hell he defiantly hadn't seen one this large since he came to earth. "wow, yeah, he would be in here" He walked on and looked around, looking at all the sections to see what was to be seen. and all he could do was shake his head "nope, he isn't here, but a few books I have been wanting to read, if you want you can leave me here, i know it is boring showing a new comer around, so i do thank you for the time you have spent with me if you wish to depart."

She was always on the run, so she never stayed in one place too long because it was too dangerous. The longest she probably stayed somewhere was probably two or three months, not even that long. She was unsure if she would be able to stay in this castle for too long either; she was scared they may find her...
Torn's comment caught her attention because he sounded like he missed having a master. Misa looked up at him then looked to the hall when the reached the other end of the library.
"Oh I see... Hey Torn, maybe I can help you but you would also be helping me at the same time... You see, there are people would love to hurt me if they found me and I was thinking, maybe you could be my bodyguard. That way, you wouldn't have to be forced to work under someone. You don't have to agree if you don't want," Misa stated as she nervously twisted the edge of her shirt, wrinkling it in the process.

For a moment Torn had thought that his hearing deceived him. He looked back over to the girl, by the look upon her it became evident to him that she did indeed just ask him what he thought he imagined. after a short, awkward silence between the too, Torn replied to the girl looking at him expectantly and gave a nod. "I agree.", It was a shame the mask concealed what would have been a genuine smile. "I actually functioned as a bodyguard for one of my previous Masters. By the way ... may I know the name of my new Mistress?" It had become apparent to Torn that the young girl was yet to give him her name, he was curious but understand that previously she may not have wanted to reveal her identity to a stranger. Upon thinking of her name he wondered why anyone would want to harm a young girl such as her, she seemed nice enough. But it didn't take long for Torn to remember that the world was filled with unsavory characters, most of which would love to get their hands on such a girl as her. That ugly truth made him feel like snarling at the sheer thought of them, but at the same time made him glad she had asked him to be her bodyguard. The feeling was one that Torn experienced very little of.
After her reply Torn would follow the girl to her room, she should know her way to her room from here and it was likely that she might want to discuss her situation further or at least state the conditions of their agreement.

Lucifer added that there were a few books he'd been wanting to read, and that she could leave him there if she wanted. She thought about that for a second, pursing her lips. She didn't want to be rude, but she did have a few other places in the castle that she wanted to see, and Lucifer did seem interested in some of the books there. "Well it's not boring, I've been enjoying spending the time with you," she said with a quick grin. "But there is a few other places that I wanted to see. . . so I think I will head out," she decided. "But if you want any help or anything, I'm sure you'll be able to find me around here somewhere," she said with a light chuckle.
"Anyway, good luck on finding your friend, and I uh, guess I'll see you later," she said. With that, Phoenix turned and headed back to the door to leave the library, already trying to decide where she wanted to go to next.

Lucifer looked at her with a soft chuckle. Then he shook his head lightly, strong women, go figure, don't want help from anyone and think they don't need the company. He walked up behind her and touched her shoulder lightly "I'll come with you, all you need to is ask." He smiles lightly looking at her awaiting for her reply as he stood there.

They barely met so she would understand if he refused; she was still saddened at the thought of him refusing. Who knows if she would meet someone who's nice as him, and still strong. He may look intimidating but during their short time together, Misa had discovered he was a kind individual. As she waited for his response, Misa continued to wrinkle her shirt until she realized what she had been doing so she immediately stopped. Misa attempted to straighten it out when Torn finally agreed. At first, she thought she was hearing things, but he had indeed agreed. Misa looked up at him with a expression of complete relief and a happy smile.
"Thank you... Oh, I'm Misa Heart. Just call me Misa," she replied as she headed down to her room.

Torn followed Misa down to her room as he thought to himself, "Misa Heart? Peculiar name ..." However her name was the last thing on his mind now, he felt as if a weight had been lifted from him. He felt useful again and was eager to serve his new Mistress. He almost felt sorry for what's to come for the people whom wanted to harm his Mistress.

Phoenix gave a shrug of her shoulders. "I'm perfectly fine exploring the castle on my own," she said. Phoenix tilted her head and let out a light chuckle. "If you're not wanting to be left alone, you can come with, if that's why you're offering," she added.

Lucifer examined her face and then chuckles shaking his head making his way back into the Library, "Its fine, if you want to show me anything, I'll probably be here." He smiles lightly as he walked grabbing up a book and starts to read. Sitting there flipping through pages of the book as he enjoys the contents.

Shaking her head, Phoenix turned and pushed the door open, slipping out of the library and into the hallway. She already had an idea of where in the castle she wanted to go.
