◣Skylar Anderson◢ Action is the real measure of intelligence. Skylar had been walking around for what felt like hours trying to find the Petitmon who she met the first time she came here. They'd agreed to meet in the meadow just before the mountains, but she'd gotten distracted going off after what she thought was Petitmon only to find out that it wasn't and having to run for it. She sipped on her water as she walked, relieved to finally be away from those other digimon. "I hate bugs..." She muttered to herself as she looked around to get her bearings. She was fairly sure she was still headed in the right direction though she may have gotten turned around in all of that running. She tried to remember where the sun was relative to her when she was sure she was headed in the right direction and after establishing that she was still going the right way, she continued moving forward, hoping not to run into any other hostile or just plain scary digimon on her way to the mountains. The faster she found Petitmon the safer she'd feel. Crest: Knowledge

His Elecmon was sleeping on his shoulder and Dorumon was held in his arms. He smiled at the girl and chuckled a bit. "It seems we have a lost maiden in the woods. Would you happen to need any help my dear?" With his free right hand he scratched both Dorumon and Elecmon behind the ears. ◣Skylar Anderson◢ Action is the real measure of intelligence. Skylar jumped slightly when Arron stepped out in front of her and once she calmed down, she looked at the two digimon that he had on him. Seeing them, she wished even more that she had one of her own at her side right now. Even if this guy wasn't dangerous, it was always good to have backup. Skylar raised an eyebrow when he called her a lost maiden since she was now pretty sure of where she was and then answered his question. "I'm just going to meet a friend..." Maybe it was better if she just stayed a bit evasive. "He shouldn't be too far from here." Now that she had her reference point she just had to continue in this general direction and she would find that cute little dragon in no time. Skylar was looking forward to seeing him again and having him continue to show her around. Maybe he even knew what that strange card was for.Crest: Knowledge

It looked up at Arron and he nodded. Which caused Dorumon to run over to Skylar and cry out in a happy tone. "It's been a while since we met an actual human in this world besides Arron so don't worry we don't mean you any harm." Dorumon said to Skylar in a very friendly tone. Whereas Elecmon however continued to sleep on Arron's shoulder. This caused Arron to chuckled a bit and then step beside Skylar and Dorumon. ◣Skylar Anderson◢ Action is the real measure of intelligence. Skylar hesitated for a moment and then looked down at the Dorumon when he spoke to her and smiled. They seemed nice enough. "Well okay; thanks. I'm looking for a Petitmon. We're supposed to meet just before the mountains." She looked over in the direction where she was headed before Arron and his party stepped out in front of her. "Should be in this direction." She looked up at Arron and smiled slightly before looking down at Dorumon again and giving his head a pat. "I'm Skylar by the way. Thanks for coming with me Arron." Moving her hand away she stepped away and took another sip of water before they moved on. Maybe people weren't so bad around here after all. Well at least not all digimon were.Crest: Knowledge

He yawned a bit due to having just woken up but he looked like he was good to walk. "So Skylar, this Petitmon you speak of; is it your partner?" Arron wasn't one to attack a defenseless Digidestind, let alone a girl so if he were to attack her it would only be after they met up with her digimon and even the chances of that were slim seeing as how he really didn't want to fight. Elecmon instantly woke up and jumped 10 feet forward, standing in front of both Skylar, Arron, and Dorumon. It was growling whilst facing forward and as it did this a group of three Kabuterimon flew onto the ground in front of Elecmon, shaking the ground a bit as they landed due to their size. The site of these digimon didn't startle Arron in the least, for he knew his digimon were far superior in strength to them. Taking out his digivice he held it firmly and looked directly at Elecmon who in turn looked back to nod. "Elecmon, digivolve to BlackGarurumon." As soon as he said the command both the digivice and Elecmon engulfed in a bright light. The light lasted for a few seconds as it then cleared and in Elecmon's place stood a giant BlackGarurumon bigger than normal ones. "Howling Blaster!" The very moment BlackGarurumon announced its attack it shot a stream of bright blue flames from its mouth. The three Kabuterimon were engulfed in the fire and when it cleared they had been easily defeated. BlackGarurumon growled once more as it was once more engulfed in a white light that when cleared showed he had reverted to Elecmon. Elecmon then jumped back onto Arron's shoulder who in turn chuckled. "Now where were we? Oh yeah, I was asking about your Petitmon." ◣Skylar Anderson◢ Action is the real measure of intelligence. "My partner? Well no. I mean—" Skylar broke off when Elecmon jumped in front of them to face the three Kabuterimon. What was worse about the entire thing was that they were huge bugs. She hated those things. Her eyes wide and ready to bolt, she took a step back. Please let Elecmon be able to handle this... Skye watched in disbelief as a bright light consumed the small red digimon and once the light disappeared, she gasped as a black wolf stood in front of her. "Whoa..." She'd never seen that one before. What did Arron call it? BlackGarurumon? Skylar looked over at Arron to see how he did that and saw him holding a device similar to hers and slipped her digivice off her belt and looked at it. So that's what it was for... She looked back at the scene in front of her when BlackGarurumon attacked and she was amazed by how much power he had. Good thing he wasn't turning that power on her. The battle was quickly over after that and she sighed in relief and thanked him. "I'm not entirely sure..." She looked down at her digivice and clenched it in her fist, continuing from where she left off before the interruption. "Petitmon was the first digimon I met when I got here. He was so happy to meet me... almost like he was waiting." She smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she thought about it. In all probability the little guy was for her, though they hadn't gotten around to talking about that yet; they'd just explored together. "Maybe we should keep going, it would be nice to find him before there are anymore surprises." Crest: Knowledge

When the two would eventually part he wouldn't attack her, for that wouldn't fair in the least. Especially since she didn't even have a Code Card to give him so there really wouldn't even be a point. He stopped and stood in front of her, still smiling friendly. "So you want to get there as soon as possible? I think I have a solution that would please you greatly." Arron looked down at Dorumon now, who in turn nodded and howled with excitement. He then jumped up into the air and made an action pose. "Dorumon, digivolve to Dorugamon." His digivice once more enveloped in a bright light and this time Dorugamon did the same. When both lights cleared Dorugamon landed on the ground in front of them, his wings folded forward to allow them seating on his back. "Dorugamon here will fly us at a high speed toward the destination. That is if it's okay with you to go a little fast." Giving her a closed eye smile he reached into his pocket and pulled out one of his Code Cards which was now glowing a bright yellow which made him only sigh and put it back. ◣Skylar Anderson◢ Action is the real measure of intelligence. Seeing another of his digimon digivolve, made Skylar even more eager to find her partner. She hated the feeling of arriving someplace and being completely left behind. It was true that she could have been here earlier if she opened the box when she got it, but at that time she was too concerned with her competitions and getting into the Academy. "How long have you been here? You seem so good at this," she stated with an undisguised curiosity in her tone. In these short moments she'd already managed to learn quite a bit and maybe she could figure out a way to learn more about what was going on from him. Then she watched as he pulled a card out of his pocket and a spark of recognition came to her eyes and just as suddenly as it appeared it died. It could just as easily have been imagined. It's like the card I have in my pocket, she thought. Skylar took a moment to clip her digivice back onto her belt and subtly brush her hand against the pocket to reassure herself that the card she was given was still there. Did she ask about the card now or wait until she found Petitmon? Her gut instinct was telling her to wait and act as if him holding a similar card meant nothing to her. Two cards, different numbers at different ends of the spectrum. It reminded her of that show she used to watch: warriors collected all seven numbered items and once they did a wish was granted. Then again, it could just two of several disks used on a computer somewhere. "Going fast doesn't bother me." As long as they were in control.Crest: Knowledge

He then gently grabbed her hand and jumped onto Dorugamon's back, who then jumped up into the air with intense force. His wings then unfolded and they began to soar forward. The seating space was spacious enough to move around freely but Arron really wasn't up to moving around so he laid down on his back. "I have been in the Digital World for about a year now I believe. I can't really go home but even if I could I prefer it here anyway." Arron chuckled a bit, not wanting to reveal his past due to the fact that that would reveal he isn't on the same side as Skylar. "So Skylar, I will do you one more service. Anything you want to know about the Digital World you can ask me. I know basically everything there is to know, so I can help you out with knowledge if you don't mind." He moved his head so as to look up at her whilst asking her if she wanted help. While these two were talking however Elecmon was lying down on Dorugamon's head and the two were communicating telepathically due to their intense link to one another. Why exactly is he helping this girl Dorugamon? She's not on our side and she doesn't seem to have a Code Card so it doesn't really make any sense. Elecmon itched his head and yawned loudly, looking just as lazily as he always did. Elecmon you should be nice to her. She seems really nice, and as you know Arron doesn't harm females. And if you used your head you would know that each of the Digidestind has at least one Code Card. But I hope he doesn't take hers because I like her. It was on the tip of her tongue to ask him but she decided against it and instead to use the open invitation to learn more about the Digital World to her advantage. The more she learned, the better she could plan her moves in the future. "So what exactly is going on right now? Other than the random insect attacks, things seem so peaceful." Her eyes shone with excitement as she looked around trying to find something that looked familiar. Or even a sign of her Digimon. For a moment she almost wished that she could forget that she was trying to find her partner and just enjoy the ride as if there wasn't a care in the world. "There has to be a reason why we were all brought here." Even for those Kabuterimon to attack. Skylar believed things happened for a reason. Nothing was just random. Were they feeling threatened or did they just want to talk? She looked at Arron and then his two digimon, and back at him. Dorugamon seemed affectionate and excited while Elecmon was more cool and laid back, though always on alert for any threat and ready to spring into action. The encounter with the Kauterimon showed her that much; he was ready before the threat had even revealed itself. Crest: Knowledge

meanwhile, mayura was flying around "come on... theres gotta be a fruit tree or something..." she said. she stopped, almost losing losing control of her flight and falling, when the explosion happened. "woah!" she said, she kicked her flight into high gear, straightening her mask put on her when she transformed into kazemon. she saw the digimon fly off "maybe they know where i can food..." she muttered, and flew to catch up to them "excuse me!" she shouted to catch their attention "wait up!" she tried to fly faster, but she was already flying at her top speed.

I will gladly tell you what is going on then." Arron sat up and now sat cross legged leaning back slantingly with his open palms resting comfortably on Dorugamon's back. "Now where should I start... A human is sent to the Digital World when a digimon calls out to that person's soul or vice versa. We cannot come here by force and we can only leave with our digivices." He moved his right hand and held up his black digivice, moving it around and showing her each part of it. "These are what allow you to leave this realm and to also digivolve your partner digimon. Each person only has one partner which I myself don't really understand but it basically keeps people from monopolizing the digimon. I myself as you noticed by now have two partners. I don't really get why I have two but they are both amazing digimon and I love them extremely." Arron looks over at Elecmon and Dorugamon's head and smiles at them. He then looks back over at Skylar with a serious look. "Now for the bad part of the Digital World... There is an evil organization called Virus Phantoms and their objective is to take over the Digital World using these items called Code Cards." He reaches into his pocket and once again pulls out a Code Card, holding it up to reveal that this was what he was talking about. "Once they have them all they will reshape this world into their own choosing. You are what is called a Digidestind though. Their goal is to defeat the Virus Phantoms and keep the Digital World in a peaceful state. Is there anything else you need to know Skylar?" He asked her again, giving her another closed eye smile to add to the friendly tone. I hope he knows that when she finds out he is a Virus Phantom she will attack him and all of this information he is giving her will surely backfire on us. Elecmon once again yawned and rested his head on his arms. Don't worry Elecmon, she doesn't seem the type that would just attack him. Plus you know Arron really isn't on the dark side for the goal, he is just in it for the company. So giving the opponent information really isn't something that concerns him. ◣Skylar Anderson◢ Action is the real measure of intelligence. Skylar nodded at his explanation. Hmm that was interesting and she should probably store that information for further use. That also meant that Petitmon was probably her partner since he was overly excited to see her when they first ran into each other and seemed to already know her name. She narrowed her eyes slightly when he said that she was part of the digidestined. He didn't include himself in that group. Would that mean he was part of the Virus Phantom group? She was about to ask but hearing a voice, Skylar looked around trying to determine the source and then spotted what looked like a fairy flying after them. Now that was something you didn't see everyday. But then again, she was in a world where creatures evolved and devolved right before her eyes in a matter of seconds rather than a few millennia, she was facing larger than normal creatures on a daily basis, and was now off looking for a little dragon with no legs or arms. What were the odd of that? "Umm Arron, maybe we should slow down for a minute." As much as she wanted to find her partner and figure out why he was helping her if they were on different sides of this thing, she couldn't just ignore someone in need. Crest: Knowledge
