"Fair enough" Jericho said as he ate some of the food off his plate while she did the same more or less. Though, he soon paused at the sound of something shrill and he quickly looked around to see what was going on. Was there danger?! Oh wait. He found the source. Over in the main area, Lizzy and Junko were squealing by Riley it seemed. That reminded him.. "Oh right. Speaking of Malodore... It proposed to Riley earlier tonight," he grinned towards Shehk. The news both delighted and worried him really. It was wonderful for her, but.. there were some large concerns of his regarding it. There was something he wanted to speak to her about, something that he had been meaning to but with their affliction, it just hadn't really come up despite his worries.

The nice thing about not being able to choke physically was that when you nearly did anyways, you weren't actually in danger of it. That didn't mean that it wasn't uncomfortable when she nearly ended up with Sausage in her lung from the sudden information share from Jericho.
It took a minute of her holding onto his arm and coughing before she was finally able to answer, eyes watering.
"Malodore proposed to Riley???" she sputtered, as though needing to confirm that she had heard what she thought she had heard. There was disbelief. Disbelief, and awe. That was.... "Wow!" she brightened up, grinning. "I'll have to go congratulate her in a bit."
Because..that was just astounding to her, actually. Wow. "Seems like you're pretty happy for her too."

Somehow she looked surprised but not for the reason one might think. A fight was what he wanted from her. In the honest view of the tatzel ghoul, this was like asking to spend quality time together. Through all the effective lovey-dovey influences she had through in the past few days, this was a reaction that seemed genuinely like the country ghoul. Fight? Yew'got it, boil. Don't go tryin' ta' pull out early 'er nothin' later on. Her delightfully ghoulish smile turning back to the smirk she usually wore when talking to West about battles.

Again, she felt that chill and hugged onto the teddy even tighter. The smirk faded to return to a smile coupled with rosy cheeks. I... I like'it a whole lot.
You like someone a whole lot.❤
She wouldn't hug him again; all of her temptations to do so were placed into the fuzzy plush in her arms. When West mentioned the games, she nodded in agreement. Yea! I'll whoop ya'in ... that one game! Let's go! A challenge to her wicked little heart; Levi didn't do so well at the whack-a-hunter game, but... she amazingly didn't mind getting to see West win. Oh, he'd win alright.
Levi grabbed at one of West's hands as if it was magnetized to do so. She led him back towards the games, chuckling happily.

For a moment, Jericho thought he was going to need to smack Shehk in the back, but she seemed to be alright after a little bit. Though, she was stunned to hear the news. "Of course! She's my best friend after all. And I can't see her with anyone other than Malodore really," he smiled, deciding to push aside those nagging feelings in the back of his head. It wasn't his place to be mentioning such things. But he had to wonder if the Plague doctor realized this as well. He hoped for both its and Riley's sake that everything would turn out alright. "I have to wonder what the wedding is going to be like.." he mused.

"Yes, I have. Its been very relaxed and fun." She smiled brightly, nodding about the meeting. "Yes, its been a long time since I really got to speak with Amrita. She's changed so much! I didn't recognize her, though even in a new body she still has traits I should have picked up on." Mitsu immediately thought of the things Amrita had told her that the ghoul wanted to keep secret. The lycan was sure to keep those far from conversation.
"How was your meetings? You've sat in with two people right?" Mitsu was curious to know how they had gone. The few times she had glanced over it seemed the other ghoul had been rather shy.

"Guess that's true. I imagine I'd be pretty excited if Sammy got married....." she looked off across the floor to where the zombie ghoul was with the shadow ghoul, seeming to frown lightly as though knowing that it wasn't exactly possible for that wedding to happen. So much drama, and she'd gotten an earful of what was going on over there.
Or at least as much as Sammy had been willing to divulge.
"I'll have to go congratulate her later." She imagined a wedding would be pretty excited, and if Riley got this good with Scarentines, Shehk could just imagine how she'd be for her own wedding....
and it seemed Jericho had half a thought about it as well.
"It'll be perfect. Riley deserves a perfect and flawless wedding, and I expect her to plan no less than that." she bumped her shoulder against the side of the dragons arm and laughed, "I look forward to seeing it. It was about time happy stuff started happening around here........." she trailed off, the smallest frown at the corner of her lips.

Shun nodded to Mitsu, glad to hear she was enjoying her time here. It was also nice to hear that her first little meeting thing went well. He wasn't too familiar with Amrita himself, but he had seen her around.
"That's good to hear, and yes. Am was.. interesting. She was the first girl I spoke to and I'm not quite sure what to make of her. Tahki was the gryphon. A nice girl and in a way she reminded me of you, especially during your early days at this school."

The first girl didn't seem to catch Mitsu's attention, mostly because of the lack of detail but being compared to the gryphon girl caught her interest. "Oh? Like me? How so?" Mitsu seemed curious wondering what Shun had picked up on that made them similar.

Grinning, Jericho let out a small laugh, agreeing with her. "No doubt! It will be amazing. And yes, I agree. So much has happened lately. It was almost suffocating in a way," he said, frowning towards the end of his words. So many things. Though the main thing bothering him nowadays didn't really go away completely no matter what was going on. The dragon also hoped their affliction wouldn't be acting up too strongly during the wedding.. should they have not managed to rid themselves of it by then. --- "Well, she was fairly timid and pretty soft spoken. Confidence is one thing she's working on as well in a way," Shun said while looking towards Mitsu, though she had improved quite a bit since their first meeting. No longer did she stutter, and she was able to go about comfortably without her mask. She even had jumped into danger to help him out.

It was like a momentary frown-fest between the two of them, perhaps a moment to let some of the drama of the last few months play out in their heads, or perhaps other sober thoughts.
"Yeah, I look forward to it. Well, this is me going ahead an assuming I'm invited and will get to see." If Riley didn't just invite the entirety of the student body, she'd be surprised, but....it was also possible Riley would prefer something more intimate and personal with only a handful of people invited to it. Though Jericho would be there for sure, he'd have some nice role in the ceremony too, she'd bet.....
However, after a moment of thought, Shehk just began to laugh hysterically, as though the most hilarious mental image had just struck her. She actually buried her head against his shoulder while she laughed for a solid minute.
"I just...." wheeze, "imagined you..." snicker snort, "as the maid of honor...."Sneeerrrkkk "With a dress..and..everything...."

Jericho was rather confused as to why Shehk started to laugh hysterically. Furrowing his brow, he stared down at her before quickly glancing around warily. All in all, he was just very very confused, though she soon explained what was so funny. ".... Maid.. of.. honor..." he repeated before letting out an indignant huff, "Riley wouldn't do that to me!"Well, he sincerely hoped that she wouldn't put him in a dress.

Shehk wiped a few tears of laughter from her eyes as she seemed to regain control of herself.
"No, of course she wouldn't. She'll dress you up in another handsome suit like this one and have you charming ghouls all over the place." she smiled, sighing a bit. "That'd be much more appropriate I think."
Because even though she had just imagined him in a dress, she really couldn't see it happening.

Laughing as well, Jericho shook his head. "A suit would definitely be better. Though I don't think the charming part would happen so much. Then again, who knows?" he chuckled. The dragon knew he wasn't exactly always the most charming guy around, especially when his temper flared up which was relatively easy to stir.

She gave him a knowing look. "I think the charming part is a definite. Ghouls love a man in a suit." the pricolici replied, smiling. "Especially a handsome one. You could go charm whatever ghoul you wanted to right now if you liked." Yeah, a few temper-things here and there, but really?
Not so bad.
"Big strong guardian dragon like yourself? Could sweep 'em right off their feet."

Jericho stared at Shehk for a few moments, thinking that over. He seemed to not really quite buy into just yet. "You really think so?" he asked with a tilt of his head. Granted, he wasn't exactly looking to go out and be a lady killer, but it was an interesting thought still.
