Zar actually startled at Nuru's yell, before watching him go for it and go completely wide of the mark. It was a tough game. Still he could only hope he'd get to jab his target with a sharp pin, it'd be enjoyable.
I want to pin RILEY! he snarled. It was personal.

And he totally missed of course, going in the direction of the cutouts with such malevolent gusto he went right past them and pinned his to the wall instead, looking pleased until he removed the blindfold and saw his error. He could only look irritated and sheepish as he sulked back over to Nuru.

Freya lifted one eyebrow as he fretted, and her lips pursed tight. "No, stops that! Of course I wants teh wear it, yeh wons it for me.. I loves it." Perhaps a little too much, sadly. Freya had never once thought about things like rings and the implications they carried. Until today. It was as if some outside force was making her think too much about things like romance, and love, and.. ugh.. mawwiage.
The thought made her heart flutter with excitement, and she knew that was not how she really felt about it.
"Go smack the hunters, my baby boil. I will wear yehr ring until the day I dies." This time, when she smiled, even though it was a small one, it was genuinely affectionate. No amount of anxiety could make her stop loving Herryk.
Freya heard the voice squealing at them, and her lips pursed tightly in amusement, before breaking out into a grin. "Looks, Herryk, we has a fan!"

"It's okay." Nuru affectionately cooed as he slung an arm over Zars shoulder and tugged him to his side.
"Want to play that last game orrrr?" He asked as he pointed at the large Ghost-Man machine.

Zar didn't object to the contact the way he might usually of done, the effects of scarentines still numbing his general recoil reaction, in fact to the point where he slunk his tail around Nuru's waist in about the closest the Incubus came to mirroring the ghost boil's gesture.
"I'm no good at games like that. You play? I'll cheer you on."

Nuru grinned rather ferally at the suggestion.
"Right on. Ah think Ah will." And with that he sauntered right up to the machine at a pace that didn't jerk his body away from the clutches of Zar's tail and then perched right at the edge as he started up the game and set to work trying to nom all the little yellow things.

Diana walked up to the 'love machine' and laid her hand onto the device as she awaited to see what her Fear Compatibility Number would be.
Upon seeing the number though she glared. "Better off enemies?! What does that mean!" she says with a hiss as her eye twitches in annoyance. Gods she hated this machine. Growling she leaves it to look at the other games.

MATCHMAKER MATCHMAKER MAKE ME A MATCH!
"I shall call you by your full name if you do not mind, Frost in the Storm." It was always nice to meet students who had names iwth meanings, even if they were not in the naming language of his clan. "He is being modest," Yin informed the boil, "he really can answer a lot of questions." He was actually rather curious now, as the new boil seemed to think that there was something to do with courtship rituals? Were there a large numbers that chose their partners or bonded on scarentines? Either way, he was really just here so that Princess Eva could meet some other mini pets.
But Miss Danny wished to play games, and Yin was not the sort of boil that would deny her. "Let us go try the games and perhaps Alexander can explain things while he is awaiting his turn?" Yin was feeling happy and comfortable today, with his best friend and now Miss Danny to accompany him, and that happiness seemed to be translating into him making actual decisions and moving things along rather than waiting for someone else to decide what they should be doing. So he walked up the machine and put his hand down on it forcefully, surprised to see apparently one of the largest numbers come up.

Zar was still being rather eerily clingy as he watched Nuru play the game, an attitude he'd likely remember with horror later on when he could think straight, resting his head as much as he could with horns like he had, on his shoulder as he watched.
"Oooh you did it!"

THESE TASTE LIKE CHALK BUT FREE CANDY IS FREE CANDY.
Diana spots the 'bittersweet' candy machine and sighs. Perhaps this thing will make her feel a bit better about the fact that the 'love machine' seemed out of whack. Walking uo to it she turns the dial and waits to see which candy message she got.
Blinking she picks up her candy and reads it's message. "PLZ GO...huh. well it is better than the last one.." she mutters before going to the next game.

Nuru could feel Zar notably closer. His horn(at least one of them) digging into the dog boils shoulder. All of it added up to one thing.
GAME OVER
Even in a game about eating Nuru couldn't focus long with an incubus on him.
"O-okay Zar, what's next?" He mumbled.

Willow walked up to the game curiously. It was a fear matcher? Her ears perked up as she looked at it before deciding it was worth trying it. She placed her hand on the contraption and watched as it ran up to nineteen. Her ears perked, "Oh!"
It looks like she was compatible with Christof, "Interesting." The tiger ghoul moved away from the machine so others could have a turn.

*Hic!* A gnome crawled out from behind the Love Machine, swaying on his feet and looking blearily at all the students lurking around.
He wanted to play too. He wanted to find his true love.
Reaching for the place to put his hand, he burped and fell flat on his face instead.

Zar stopped being a creeper long enough to uncoil himself from Nuru and look thoughtful, looking around the various games and tapping his chin with a dainty claw.
"I think we've played all the games now right?" he tilted his head. "Hmmm. You choose?" Zar willingly /encouraging/ Nuru to make decisions on his behalf, things really were unusual.

MATCHMAKER MATCHMAKER MAKE ME A MATCH!And so Alex found himself following along behind Yin, Danny, and this new student named King as he shuffled slowly along. One habit he couldn't seem to stop himself from doing was digging his hands into his pocket as he went, trying to keep his eyes averted from the flame at the end of Danny's tail as much as possible as he went. He hung back a little as Yin went first on the machine, looking it over a little more carefully first. The machine that Yin thought was just for reading fear was in fact, a type of compatibility machine. He was suddenly a little uneasy, not really wanting to know who he might be compatible with. So instead he began talking, as Yin seemed to expect him to and even the new boil seemed to want whatever information Alex could provide. "Well, uh, Scarentines is just another of those days that are assigned to a particular observance. In this case, it is basically a day for exchanging tokens of affection. Yes, this does mean that often one may use the excuse of the date to find their..uh..mate, or chosen." He tried to use the terms that both boils might understand. In his hesitation, a couple more students went after Yin, and even a gnome staggered out to give it a try, but promptly collapsed on the ground. Since nobody else appeared to be moving to give it a try, Alex supposed he must go next, and shuffled forward, pulling a hand out of his pocket to slap down on the machine with a tiny grimace, watching his score come up on the screen. 14 Of course he would get a 14, one of the few numbers nobody else had gotten. He was apparently not very compatible. Rolling his eyes, he stepped back to let somebody else have a turn.
