Thing would stay, because Thing was a good boy, afterall. However, a familiar scent rose from immediate vicinity. The smell was masked with soap and clean clothing, but Thing still recognized the smell regardless. He started to whine piteously yet again, as he wanted to see his owner but at the same time did not want to move after being told to stay several times. He did swivel his ears back towards the sound of his owners voice, realizing that another familiar smell was emitting from behind him as well, that was reminiscent of the same smell that the Princess shared. It was all very confusing for the poor, slow, Poms, however, so he buried his face in his paws, his whining intensifying if anything.

Alex may have been more disappointed with Yin dropping his hand if it hadn't been for just how damned happy the weremantis looked. He knew he had made the right decision, in urging his friend to come and check on his pet to make sure she was ok. He got fairly distracted though, when he noticed his own pet looking like he was trying to meld himself with the ground...and now he was emitting a high pitched keening noise that made Alex want to put his hands over his ears.

"Agghhh, sorry, just a second, Yin. Here boy! Here! Come over here! That's a good boy." He smiled with some amount of relief when the Poms ears twitched up and his head raised from the ground, his little puff tail twitching spastically as his whining cut off abruptly. 'Thing' formerly known as 'Skully' began tottering his way over to his owner, reaching the edge of the fence and looking up at Alex with adoration plain in his eyes. Alex reached down to pat him on his skull, then scratched him behind his ears. The Poms began to drool happily, and Alex decided that for his clean suits sake, it would be best not to pick the little creature up.

"Princess..Eva.." Alex looked at his friend incredulously, then laughed. Of course that would be how Yin would answer a question about love, but the sound quickly cut off at the second part of Yin's answer. He glanced down to the ground, suddenly feeling very strange again, that internal struggle of whether or not to just tell Yin how he felt continuing to rage inside his head.

"I think...you would be surprised at who might think of you in such a manner." He finally answered, looking back up from the ground that he was scuffling with a toe with a soft smile. Oh dear Jack how he wanted to reach up and mess around with his own hair right now, but he was trying so hard to just try and look good for once, he held his hand in a fist at his side instead.

"I...I wouldn't mind playing a video game or two, or maybe grabbing some food." He hadn't eaten yet, and the food on the refreshment table probably wasn't going to last all night.

"I was also thinking about signing up to meet another student as well. I had a nice time chatting with Xiu, but it might be night to meet somebody new..." He said, as they started to wander off from the enclosure again.

"We believe the Calamitias room will yield the best results for meeting the school, but we are not sure how easy that will be of a meeting. Unless we were to become insistent on going out for a walk of some variety." He'd never actually been belligerent about going out for a walk before, so he wasn't sure just how..easily managed such a thing would be for him.

"Tonight may be too soon, and the mornings will be more possible in terms of a grand escape to meet. Where, however..." Dormin mulled. "Where indeed? Do you have a preference on a where?"

Aurora's eyes cracked when more mushrooms disappeared. Her head cleared slightly and she peered at the comfy mouse on her belly.

"Truce for now.." She purred. That was when something caught her eye. It was amongst the mushrooms but she couldn't make it out. Perhaps her and her new friend could sniff it out?

The sparkling mini tossed her flowing hair and rolled back over. She juggled the mouse in her paws until it seated on her back. "Shall we explore?"

Her boil had sat her down back in the pen.

Right next to that boil's pet.

She looked back to the pets she had been with, and then over to that thing. A puddle of drool was beneath it. Really? Really?

But her boil had been so happy with the awful smelling one, and he would probably be happy if she tried to get along with the thing his friend had brought with him. Finally she sighed and began walking back toward her new friend, turning after she had taken a couple of steps. "Heel." The command was certainly imperious, but it was not cruel. Rather resigned in fact.

Oh dear Jack this was so awkward. Why on Halloween had she said he(?) could heel? She could hear him following almost beside her, but at least he had the decency to stay properly behind her.

But now that he was with her she suddenly did not want to be seek by Kari so she headed straight for the ball pit, stepping up to the very edge of it. Now what? Well...he seemed like a very obedient fellow so she pointed into the pit. "Fetch."

Maybe if he proved himself here she would consider rewarding him in some small way.

Princess Eva sighed. Peasants. They liked to pretend as if they had no idea of what to do to try to get out of work. She hopped daintily down into the pit, avoiding touching any mushrooms now that they had started to disappear and then turned to glance at the creature. "I trust you can make it down on your own? Or do you need help with that too." Her tone almost sounded bored.

Oh well, teach a man to fish and all of that nonsense.

She watched at the highly undignified entrance, the creature wallowing in the dirt and filth of the mushrooms. It seemed to be enjoying it. And the noises it was making at her...highly inappropriate. Highly.

"I suppose if that is what you can manage you did a good job. Good boy." Reassure the peon. "Now go find me something that is not a mushroom and bring it back."

Why did she get the feeling it was going to be a body part?
