Men are not walking erections. And every post you have put forward has been negative towards men. Look back on them in a different state of mind. Yes, it's morally wrong but then so are a lot of things. And only the minority would as only a minority cheat already. And in this day and age they would prefer something free over something they have to pay for surely?

In fact, I have a theoretical question, Chipmunk.

Lets say that one day you wanted to experiment. You want to have a threesome but want it private so that strikes out swingers parties. You want it done properly so that rules out putting ads in the paper. You can't ask a friend because then everyone will know and you will never be able to look that person in the face again. And a stranger is ruled out because God knows what they are like really.

Legal Prostitution would be your only answer as you would know they are clean, know they are professional and know that they are discreet.

No, this was the post.

And yeah, I know he wouldn't because I have been with him for two years. I know what kind of man he is and I trust him completely. Not all men are sex mad.

I NEVER SAID ALL MEN WERE SEX MAD

How many times do I have to say that!? I also KNOW that you said he would never do this. I also said that it VERY CLEARLY that I wasn't saying he WOULD. I said IF. Even if it wasn't a possibility, if he were to do that would you forgive him? I'm getting the feeling you are only skimming through my post, and not reading the entire thing.

I also already answered the thing about experimentation in my previous post.

I already said what was going to happen if he ever does. I wouldn't forgive him, but I can understand if some might because it's not emotional cheating, it's just sex. I have even heard of a woman who chooses the prostitutes for her man because she is too tired and would rather he have sex with a prostitute than cheat and grow an attachment to his lover. Emotional cheating can be a hell of a lot worse the prostitutes.

Racheal Shanks
The former has a possibility of being forgiven and never forgotten,

Then what is this about forgiving? Sex is still considered cheating in my book. And if a women really did let her husband go off, then it is totally different than him going off on his own. BUT that could possibly lead to him realizing that he COULD bring it up to something more than sex and probably get away with it.

THIS DOESN'T MEAN I BELIEVE ALL MEN WILL THINK THAT WAY!

Look, as far as i'm concerned it is something that is always going to be around. Nothing is ever going to stop it. And while it isn't morally sound this thing still happens. You have been implying that most men would cheat if it was made legal. That is the way you sound because you are so completely negative and dead set against it. I'm not going to sway you as you have a very strong opinion which is very good because everyone has that right. I don't agree with much of what you say, however, because it is so unashamedly negative. In your mind there is not one positive thing about prostitution. I don't see why some women choose it but some do. It does have some positive connotations.

So, for now, I will only say this. I think it should be legalized.

That is my view and nothing you have said has made me change my mind.

Shall we call truce and agree to disagree?

After this post I am ignoring you, not because I don't like you, but because I am getting to worked up over this. When I get to worked up it normally leads to me being kicked out of guilds.

Damn't women I KNOW THEY AREN'T! WHEN DID I SAY THAT? NEVER! Dear friggen Jesus. If the economy was better, we wouldn't even have as many prostitutes. So legalizing it now, is pretty much saying America has no hope, and more women will choose to become prostitutes. Prostitutes don't need an education. So they will blow off school. America will become even stupider than it already is. I do not have an ugly out look on men. Young men in today's world are all about womanizing. Just because of peer pressure and that sort of things is viewed as 'cool'. Just like Psychoholic Slag wrote,

Quote:
Nobody dreams about what they want to do until they're socialised to think that way.

In whatever generation you are from, men may not of had the same outlook on life. I know that this sort of thing is happening more in my generation, so you might not know about it as well. But that is really all guys are after while they are young. Most of the people that get married are young. The majority of these marriages end in divorce.

So to wrap it all up,

I don't have a low out look on all men.

Men are not walking erections.

I do not judge people based on race, gender, or opinion.

I probably over reacted to the whole word twisting factor, but word twisting has a very special dark place in my heart. For the most part I enjoyed the debate, and also, please don't go around saying my opinion is 'insane'. It's very immature. *Storming out is probably immature, but I just don't want to get kicked out of this guild~!*

I find the system here in Brazil very fair. You can prostitute yourself, however you can't prostitute other people, you can't be a pimp. I don't think it's morally wrong to have sex for money, if a woman or man want to make that choice it's their business. It's only degrading if the person doing it finds it so
The problem which usually comes with prostitution is not the prostitution itself, but rather the cause why someone chooses this profession. Having people doing things they find degrading to themselves doesn't happen just because prostitution is there, it's about education, life opportunities and much more.

Why is cheating and one nights stands even brought into question? If a man want to cheat his girlfriend he can cheat her with anyone. Paying is easier than finding somebody who wants to have sex (if you're rich of course, lol), but that doesn't mean the legalization of prostitution would simply break the mindset that is wrong cheating someone they're committed with.

Why do you think I didn't reply to your post, earlier? I read it, and I think you should join the debate club, but you're far too religious. You can't bring religion into a debate unless it is specifically a debate about religion.

I, too, do not wish to drag anything out, I said what I had to say and I stand by my position; just as I'm sure you would. So, good argument. Seriously, think about joining the debate team.

Murder and drug use will also always be around. Should we legalize those too so that drug manufacturers and hitmen get taxed etc. or they lose their jobs? People forget that it is much harder to make something illegal after it has been legalized than it is to have never legalized it to begin with. That has been blatantly clear in the 1920s prohibition era with such bootleggers as Al Capone and Bill McCoy. I mean just look at the amount of people claiming weed should be legalized on the basis that alcohol is still legal. Alcohol should not still be legal. People like Al Capone ******** that up.

I think I have something to say about this too. I live in Holland, where prostitution is actually legal. Even though it's good, I mean, I do believe it reduces rape cases, it's also something bad at the same time. I bet 1/3 of the 'legal protitutes' are victims of lover boys, if not more. Even though that's not legal, it happens.

I do believe it's good it's legal here. Exept for the one little thing that makes holland/amsterdam only known for it's legal drugs and prostitutes. It's not like there's prostitutes everywhere. They're only allowed in certain areas which are especially created for them.
