Lore nodded in agreement with everything Hayes said. "Right enough, no need to go sprinting down corridors. We just take our time and deal with each obstacle as they come. I'd say a good first step is getting back in there." He jerked a thumb back at the door they'd entered so many hours ago.
When Xander presented notes detailing blind spots Lore arched an eyebrow, looking impressed, "Man, I don't even know why they send Elites and Execs on these things, you guys've totally got this. Right-o, so we follow these notes and snake our way back to the central room. F'you've got any ghosties let them join the party." He glanced at Espresso and Cappuccino, "And you two remember we're in sneak mode."
The two Whimsicotts nodded in unison and lined up behind Lore.
Everyone seemed ready enough to move out, so with a cheerful onward gesture, Lore helped lead the group out of the room. He looked to be having a fantastic time, feeling right in his element. Nobody really knew what he did at HQ, but it obviously wasn't as exciting as this.
The back halls and stairs didn't offer a tremendous amount in the way of security. It was the interior workings of the museum that threatened a minefield of unseen sensors and cameras. When they slipped from the drab employee area to the glistening museum proper the tension of the mission rose tangibly. Everyone would need to keep their eyes peeled and rely on available ghost types to draw attention to any unseen danger. The gallery hallway they exited into seemed cheerful enough during the day. At night it looked long and ominous.
Lore's eyes swept up and down the hall. The only security measure visible from their current location was a single camera near the end. They weren't in its field of vision. Just as Hayes and Xander had said, the security was focused on exhibits and provided adequate blindspots. Lore spoke to the group in a whisper, "Stay close to the wall and move slow. If anyone spots anything suspicious we all stop."

"Hu," Aulus moved over to peer at the notes and gave Xander an approving nod, "Nice." With the directions more or less in mind and eyes peeled Aulus waited for Hayes to start, moving off behind him when he did.

Ghosts? Oh, shiiii-oot. Alba had really been hoping to not need Trick so so early on. Before leaving the employee areas, he pulled out the respective pokeball and released the Shuppet. Trick twirled once in the air, then proceeded to glare at Alba, as if questioning how he could dare to contain her for so long. "Just bear with it, okay, Tricks?" he whispered in a hurry. Unlike with the rest of his party, food bribes didn't work so well on this Shuppet. Alba tried a different approach. "I'll give you a day loose in Ambergris if this goes well? And you get open buffet on any guards that find us?" Why, as the duo followed after everyone else, did the fact that Trick accepted the compromise--and with such a sinister grin--make Alba feel even less at ease with her?

With one last look at Jerome, Bro' held out a fist to the Gangster. "Don't ******** this up." the tattooed man said to the Ghost, lifting his own fist to bump knuckles, the two of them doing some short gang sign before bro drifted back and melded out of sight,
Jerome feel in line with the others, keeping a sharp eye out like he was told, and listening for any indication from Bro' about danger.

Hayes, too, lifted his eyebrows and grinned as he took the notebook and looked it over. "Good thinking," he told the agent, skimming down the list. "This seems pretty complete; just watch for the trip sensors across the doorways." So saying, he handed it back and set off down the hall, toward the front of the group.
Deserted and dark, the museum's rooms - airy and spacious by day - seemed looming and cavernous. Stone monoliths from dead civilizations towered, lit in stark contrast by the spotlights. Hayes' sneakers, with their worn treads, provided a minimum of noise. Still, the smallest sounds seemed to echo - breaths, footsteps, the movements of clothing.
"We didn't go over things with a fine-tooth comb, so we might've missed something," Hayes muttered at a moment the group was gathered together. "Keep an eye out for anything in the walls - gaps, ports, plates." Years of tabletop gaming prompted him to add, "And watch the ceiling."

When Hayes mentioned to watch the ceiling Jerome leaned forward slightly. "I can get up there." He said "Ain't got any cameras on em, and its got enough in the way of beams I can keep watch from the top." He suggested, It would be much easier for him then sneaking around on the ground in the group like this

Tambrey didn't have any ghosts... And any pokemon she let out would likely not be very good at being stealthy. At least, not if she wanted them to be anyway.
She found herself with a rising paranoia that came to be somewhat helpful as it kept her focused on looking around for cameras and things. The employee only part of the museum had been... well she couldn't really even say it had been that interesting yet. Maybe if they'd been in a proper storage area; it was much more interesting to get back into the museum proper, even if everything had turned into the set from 'The Relic'. Why'd she think of that? That was a bad move. Ooh, but everything was still so interesting... She tried not to get too distracted, refocusing on the mission; this meant a strange combination of excitement, paranoia, apprehension and fascination was wobbling around with each movement. It was fun and terrifying all at once. She was trying to keep her expression serious though.

Xander stomped down the raising pride from the complements/praise, they had a job to do. He wished he had a ghost type to help but it seemed that the others who did have one had that covered. Instead he made sure to let everyone see the list just in case before following the group. He did however keep his distance from Lore simply because of the grass types and like Hayes suggested, kept his eyes open for anything they missed. Xander also moved over to Tambrey to keep an eye on her in case she got distracted by the artifacts all around as they walked.

If the elite (still such an unfamiliar way to think of himself) hadn't seen how Jerome had scaled the walls and disappeared into the ceiling before, he might have raised protest, but he'd seen what Jerome could do. "Go for it," he murmured, squinting down the hall. They hadn't run into any patrolling guards yet, but luck wasn't the same as safety.

Trick and Alba cast a glance at one another while Jerome spoke of keeping surveillance from the high ground. With a smirk, the patchwork ghost drifted down, and vanished easily into the shadows that were cast along the floor. "And it looks like Trick is fine with watching from ground level," he offered to Hayes and Lore. "Literally."

When Hayes gave him the okay, Jerome replied with a curt nod, glancing away to make sure he had enough clearing to double back the way he came and find a better stop to get himself up to the ceiling supports.
He had to be more careful this time, not to make a lot of noise, but he eventually climbed and jumped his way up the holds on the walls he could find to level himself on one of the beams.
Looking down from above, he made his way level with where the party was, glancing around to make sure everything was clear for them, as well as clear on his level.

Lore smiled at the organized group as they worked their way up the long hall toward the center room. Everyone on this team was silent, fast and sharp. This thing was going to be a piece of cake.
With the help of Xander's notes and everyone keeping their eyes peeled, dodging detection wasn't too tricky. As long as they stayed close to the walls and didn't near any exhibit displays they could avoid the unmoving cameras. Nearing the end of the hall a doorway came into view. The ghost types moving ahead would probably spot a line of peculiar black devices nestled inside the next door frame. They looked like motion sensors.

Everything seemed okay, but when he noticed the black boxes, Bro hesitated, toothy grin turning down in a puzzled frown as he drifted closer to observe the doorway.
He didn't know what these were, but it certainly was odd, and he was supposed to report odd. Drifting back toward the group, he reached a hand out and touched the person in the lead on the chest to stop them and get their attention. "Gar, Gangar." He whispered under his breath, a glowing hand appearing from the air to point toward the doorway.

Trick had also noticed the boxes. Her technique was a little less... courteous, though. As in, she moved up the wall a bit so that she would be eye-level with the others, and let only her large eyes become visible from the shadows there. That counted as keeping watch, right~? And it wasn't like she'd let one of the team pass through without scaring their pants off notifying them.

So far everything seemed to be going okay. Well, better than the last two missions he'd been on. No fighting, no crashes, and no bloody Galactics. As Bro attracted the attention of the Rocket in the lead and pointed to the door, Aulus frowned. "So how to we disable those things without raising the alarm? Can one of the ghosts just drift behind them and pull out the wires or something?" He wasn't stupid, he knew he wasn't, but he was feeling pretty ignorant right now; he knew just about zilch about infiltration like this, the last two missions had been nothing like it....
Which just went to show that he dealt well with crude violence and simple tactics rather than something more cerebral like knowing how to disable a sensor without it sensing you.
