Get this party started on a Saturday night Everybody's waiting for me to arrive Sendin' out the message to all of my friends We'll be looking flashy in my Mercedes Benz I got lot of style, check my gold diamond rings I can go for miles if you know what I mean I'm coming up so you better get this party started I'm coming up so you better get this party started Ciara and Sage Campbell Hearing someone else enter the kitchen, Ciara turned and spotted a black-haired woman. She was wearing a black bikini underneath a black sheer cover-up and cut-off jeans. The bikini reminded Ciara that she and Sage hadn't changed since jumping in the water and may have left a trail of water behind them. Oops. Ciara hadn't meant to make a mess.
When she told everyone good morning, and then asked if they needed help finding something, she looked at the other boy there and wondered if the woman was talking to him, or everyone. Deciding to just assume she meant Ciara and Sage as well as the boy, Ciara waited until the boy had answered, and found a picnic basket, before she spoke up. "We were just looking for something to eat, nothing specific. But thank you so much for offering!" Ciara said, grinning. Sage turned when she heard Ambrosia join them, but remained quiet for a moment. Instead, she watched the other person there, an unusual looking boy. Sage couldn't place what his species might be, she couldn't recall seeing anyone like him before. She raised an eyebrow slightly. Did he refer to himself as an 'it'? she wondered. She was almost positive she'd heard right. . . but why would he do that? Sage chewed on her bottom lip for a moment and looked away, not wanting to be rude and stare. Even if she was curious what that was about."Oh I hope we didn't track water all over the place. If we did I'll go clean it up," Ciara quickly offered. "Oh! What a pretty necklace!" she added, noticing the black rose styled necklace the woman wore. "Oh and I'm Ciara and this is my sister, Sage," she said, all without pausing to take a breath. Sage watched as her sister rambled, when she finally paused for a breath, Sage sighed and closed the cabinet she'd been looking through. Walking over and stopping beside her sister, she looked at the other woman. "Sorry, she tends to ramble. A lot," Sage said, shaking her head and making her purple hair fly around her face. "And usually jumping from one subject to another without warning," she added. That was one thing Sage wished her sister wouldn't do, rambling was one thing. But jumping from one thing to another drove Sage up the wall.
"Is it alright for us to be in here? We didn't mean to intrude if it was off limits," Sage asked.

Vaguely, he noticed that Sage was giving him a wondering look. He didn't mind at all, it didn't matter much to him whether she wanted to look or not. Once the two of them were finished speaking, he offered his services with his shy smile, "It could make you both something to eat if you would like. It would be more than happy to." He put the last of the finishing touches on the basket before closing it carefully.
Before waiting for their answer, he went over to his dirty dishes and began to take care of them. He still waited for their answer; everything in his demeanor said that he was still paying attention to them. With a deep breath of contentment, he took joy in the task of cleaning. He loved cleaning, particularly when he was being left alone with the simple knowledge that he was still serving some sort of purpose.

Her golden eyes fell upon the plate of eggs he had made, originally she had simply planned on taking a piece of fruit for breakfast or some other thing that could be eaten on the way. His actions made her chuckle lightly, he was like a mother hen. "This is perfect, thank you love." She sat down at the island, picked up a fork and took a bite of her eggs, savoring the flavor. Golden orbs following Boy as he went to look for the basket, turning to focus on the two sisters as Ciara began to speak. "Of course, if you need anything at all please let me know." A smile touched her lips at Boy's offer to make them something to eat, it was very much like him to do so.
The Head-Mistress began to shake her head when Ciara said they could clean up the mess if they had made one but then she went on to comment on Ambrosia's necklace, and introduce Sage and herself. Ciara said all of this without even taking a breath. She waved off Sage's apology and smiled warmly at the two females. "There's nothing to apologize for, Sage. I don't mind it. Of course it's alright for you to be in here. Why wouldn't you be allowed in the kitchen? The only place that is off limits is the towers which hold my own and my sisters rooms and you are allowed there with our permission. As for the water, it's already been taken care of Ciara. And thank you, roses have always been my favorite flower. It's a pleasure to meet you both. I am Ambrosia and this is my pet, Boy." The woman gestured to the one who had offered to make some food for them, and the only male in the room. Mentally, she noted that she would like to find a name for him soon. It felt odd, introducing him as 'Boy.'

Ciara grinned widely at him. "Thank you so much for offering!" she said. "But that's okay, we wouldn't want you to go through any trouble because of us," she said. As she spoke, she shook her head and made her blue hair fly around her face. "I'm sure whatever you would have made would been good though! Probably better than anything Sage has ever-" Ciara suddenly trailed off when Sage bumped her. Glancing at Sage, Ciara chuckled and smiled at Boy again. "But thanks anyway," she said again.Sage gave a light shrug of her shoulders when Ambrosia asked why they wouldn't be allowed in the kitchen. But didn't say anything until Ambrosia had finished speaking. "I just wasn't sure. Sometimes there's the oddest things off limits, just depending on the master or mistress of the house," Sage said. Her and Ciara's former master had been like that, certain rooms were off limits, but he would usually wait until they wandered into them before saying anything. Sage was pretty sure he'd just gotten a kick out of having an excuse to yell at them for whatever he could find. Sage did make a mental note about the towers that Ambrosia said was off limits. She had no idea where that was, but she'd just have to stay out of any towers she came across during her time in the castle. Not that Sage planned on doing much exploring, anyway.
Sage looked away from Ambrosia, as she spoke to Ciara, and gave Boy a quick smile. "Thank you for offering. But like Ciara said, we really don't want you to go through any trouble because of us. Especially since it looks like you two were planning a picnic already," she said, "we wouldn't want to delay that for you. I saw some prepackaged salads in the fridge, that will be fine for us."Ciara frowned for just a second when Ambrosia said that the water had already been taken care. Mostly because she had been hoping there hadn't been any water at all, and also because she hated the thought of someone else having to clean up after her. "Sorry about that, I didn't even think about tracking water into the castle," she said. Granted, Ciara normally didn't think things through before she did them anyway, but she did always try to avoid making a mess. Ciara shook her head, dismissing the thoughts. There wasn't anything she could do about it now, and Ciara never was one to dwell on something. Actually, Ciara usually only gave things a few moments of her attention before she moved on to the next topic.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, Ambrosia and Boy," Ciara said suddenly. She smiled at both Ambrosia and Boy as she said their names, then turned and walked over to the fridge. Opening the door, Ciara reached in and pulled out the two clear containers of salads that Sage had mentioned finding. "We won't keep you two any longer. We should go change and eat anyway," Ciara said. Balancing the salads in one hand, she grabbed her sister's hand and began tugging her out of the kitchen. "Enjoy your picnic! Maybe we'll see you guys later!" Ciara called over her shoulder, already heading out the door."Yes, nice meeting you, and have a nice-" Sage was going to say 'picnic' but didn't have a chance to get the last word out before Ciara pulled her out of the kitchen and then all the way up to their rooms.

He took her hand and had walked out of his room with her. On the way down to the kitchen he answered her question about what he wanted to make. It wouldn't be anything extravagant. He liked fancy things sometimes, but for today it would be pancakes, sausage, and eggs with orange juice to drink.
"Nothing complicated for breakfast. Just something good and hearty. Pancakes, eggs, and sausage with orange juice to drink. That will keep me going for quite a while today. I more than likely won't need to eat anything else until dinner. Especially because here I don't do anything taxing enough to require a lot of energy usage. If I were still in the military or out working hard every day, then I'd eat three times a day. So what do you say? Are you up for that little one?"
He smiled down at her as they entered the kitchen after making their way down the stairs and through the foyer.

Who She's With:
Cleo nodded her head when Randal named off what he wanted for breakfast; pancakes, eggs and sausage. It was a simple breakfast, and easily made. Cleo had made that plenty of times over the years, and didn't have to think twice about how to go about making them. He then added that he thought that would hold him over until dinner, so there wouldn't be any lunch needed. Cleo would probably go without lunch as well. Actually, she probably would have skipped breakfast as well. When Cleo had been with her old master, she usually only had one meal a dinner, which had been dinner. She'd get up early, make breakfast and have it ready for him, and then spend the morning doing chores. Stop to make lunch, and then go back to doing whatever she was suppose to be doing. And then went on to make dinner. By the time that it got around to dinner time, Cleo had managed to get everything done, and once she'd cleaned up the kitchen, she'd take some left overs back to her room and ate.
When Randal asked her if she was up for that, Cleo nodded her head, letting out a light chuckle. "Yeah, sounds good," she said. "I've made that plenty of times," she admitted, shrugging her shoulders. She'd even done the orange juice part the old fashioned way with fresh squeezed oranges.
"What kind of pancakes do you want?" Cleo asked when they reached the kitchen. "Regular, or with chocolate chips, or some kind of fruit?" she asked, walking over to the fridge and looking inside. There looked to be ingredients for everything. That was good. Cleo started getting the stuff out that they would need, starting with the carton of eggs. "Oh and it looks like they have sausage patties, and sausage links, which one of those do you want?" she added.

He smiled at her as she asked what kind of pancakes he wanted. Mixed berry sounded good today. And patties instead of links he thought. Fresh squeezed orange juice was fine, but so was what may already be in the refrigerator. She looked so cute. He just wanted to pick her up and kiss her. But he didn't. He would wait a bit longer for that.
"Mixed berry pancakes sound good today Cleo. And patties instead of links please. Fresh squeezed or pre-made orange juice is fine by me. How about you prepare the batter and put the berries in, set out plates out, and I'll cook? What shall we do after breakfast? Being here is like being on vacation to me. I almost feel guilty for being so lax. But, oh well. Would you like to go back and work on your potion? Or do you want to take a walk around the castle grounds today and see what we can find?"

tαjmínα thє gírl вrєd tσ вє α slαvє`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ Finally she woke and rose slowly from the large cushion she had been resting on. She sat up slowly and let the blanket fall from her while she stretched. She remembered what had happened but was hungry and knew she couldn't stay in her room forever. But the kitchen was so close to the bar.... Biting her lower lip gently, she decided to steel herself against the fear she felt and venture forth. Standing, she walked over to her door and hesitated for a moment before opening the door and looking out into the hallway as if one of them would be standing there. No one was there. It was quiet. Feeling a bit comforted by this, she stepped out of her door and left it open just in case she needed to make a hasty retreat again. Walking slowly down the stairs and towards the kitchen, she looked for signs of the two men from the bar, but found none. However, as she neared the kitchen, she heard a couple of people talking within. They seemed to be making pancakes and sausage with orange juice to drink. Hmm... Those were things she was unfamiliar with. But it could be good. Maybe she would watch them make it and try for herself? Perhaps these people would be kinder than the last two she'd ran into. Entering the kitchen she saw a tall man with dark brown curly hair and a cute short girl with blonde hair. Smiling to herself she stood by the counter listening to the two talk.
"Hello. My name is Tajmina. I hope I'm not interrupting anything. What is it that you're making? I'm not familiar with such dishes."

Who She's With:
Cleo nodded her head when Randal said that he wanted mixed berry pancakes, and patties instead of links. But that either fresh squeezed or pre-made orange juice was fine. Then he suggested that she get the batter ready, and put the berries in, and set the plates out, and he'd cook. Cleo blinked at that. It was still taking a little getting use to that he planned on actually cooking. Cleo was use to doing all the cooking. Shaking off the thought, and reminding herself that he had told her that he had planned on cooking and she shouldn't be so surprise, she gave another nod of her head. "Sure, sounds fine," she said.
With that, Cleo started putting the pancake batter together, as Randal asked what they should do after breakfast. Suggesting that they either go back and work on her potion, or maybe take a walk around the castle grounds and see what they could find. "Either one is fine with me," she said. "I'd like to see more of the castle. But I do have an idea of how to go about making the potion. And I am a little curious to try it out," she admitted. She gave a shrug of her shoulders and turned to glance over at him. "We can do both, it's early enough. So it's up to you which you'd rather do first," she said, giving a quick grin before turning back to the batter. Cleo wasn't use to making decisions, but she honestly was fine with either one. She had been honest when she said that she was curious to try the potion out, but at the same time she was a little bit nervous about it because she hadn't done one like this before. Still, she was pretty confident that it would turn out right.
Cleo added the mixed berries to the batter, finishing it up. "Batter's done," she said, since he had said that he'd do the actual cooking. Just as Cleo turned to walk across the kitchen and get the plates for them, a woman spoke. Cleo jumped, she hadn't even heard the other woman come in. But she quickly hid her surprise, and gave the woman a friendly smile. "Oh, hi. Sorry, I didn't hear you come in," Cleo admitted. "No, you're not interrupting. I'm Cleo, and this is Randal," she said. Hmmm. . . that was one thing that had changed, Cleo realized. Just a week ago, she wouldn't have just answered the other girl. She'd have waited and let Randal do the talking. But, Cleo was starting to feel a little more comfortable, and she'd just answered. Clearing her throat, Cleo remembered that Tajmina had asked what they were making, because she wasn't familiar with the dishes. Cleo blinked, but then she realized that Tajmina had some sort of an accent, and that must have been way she wasn't familiar with them. It made Cleo wonder where Tajmina was from, but Cleo would never ask.
"Oh, we're making pancakes with mixed berries, and some sausage. Oh and some orange juice," she answered. "They're really easy to make." Cleo started to say that she could make some for her, then remembered that Randal was going to do the cooking. She also considered telling Tajmina that she could join them, but stopped just short, since she didn't know if Randal would want her to or not, and didn't want to assume one way or the other.

How can you see into my eyes like open doors? Leading you down into my core where I’ve become so numb Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold Until you find it there and lead it back home Wake me up Wake me up inside I can’t wake up Wake me up inside Save me Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up Bid my blood to run I can’t wake up Before I come undone Save me Save me from the nothing I’ve become
~Raven~
Company:
After Raven left the den and bar, she wandered through the castle for a few moments. Finally, she found herself at the kitchen. Raven paused outside the door for a moment. While human food wasn't what kept her alive, she did enjoy it from time to time. She had a weakness for Granny Smith apples. Before she'd came to the castle, Raven had made sure to have a full meal of what she needed to keep her strength up, so she had a few hours before she would need to take care of that again. She'd have to leave the castle, of course, because the food Raven needed most likely was not kept here. It never had been anywhere else Raven stayed, anyway. It was an annoyance, and hard for her to keep up sometimes, but there wasn't much she could do about it. It wasn't like she could change her species.
Shaking her head and making her pink hair fly around her face, Raven entered the kitchen. She paused, spotting a few people already there. There was a short blonde girl, speaking with an exotic looking woman, and a tall man with dark hair. Raven looked at them curiously, overhearing a bit of their conversation. The exotic looking woman was asking what the dishes the other two were making. Raven pursed her lips. It looked like pancakes and sausage to her, nothing special. At least, for most countries. Which made Raven curious as to where the woman was from. "Sorry if I'm interrupting," Raven said, giving the trio a small smile. "I didn't know anyone was already in here," she added.
She paused for a second, looking between the three of them. "Oh, my name's Raven, by the way. Nice to meet you all," she added. With that, Raven walked over to the counter, finding a basket of apples sitting there. She moved one of the red ones out of the way, finding a Granny Smith hidden just beneath it and pulled it out of the basket. Then she turned and leaned her hip against the sink, looking towards the other three and rolling the apple in her hands, trying to decide if she wanted to say anything else, or leave them be.
Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead All this time I can't believe I couldn't see Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems Got to open my eyes to everything Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul Don't let me die here There must be something more Bring me to life

He liked her suggestions of doing both activities during the course of the day. It sounded good to him too. And after all, why not? There was plenty of time in the day. He smiled then, an easy friendly smile, and walked the two steps over to the counter to get the bowl of batter. The skillet already being buttered, he put four medium sized dabs of batter onto it and let them start to cook. It was then that he heard Cleo speak to someone else and hear another girl ask what they were making. He thought it interesting that she wasn't familiar with such common place dishes, but he guessed that she must be from another country. She sounded Indian. He turned to look at them both and smiled all the brighter.
"That sounds wonderful Cleo. Why don't we tackle the hardest thing first and let you try to work your magic on that potion. If you get tired of it, or stuck, or frustrated, we can take a nice break and go find something else around the castle to do. It's nice to meet you Tajmina. It would be wonderful if you'd join us for breakfast as there's plenty enough here for all of us. You might like it."
It was at this time that he heard another person enter the kitchen. 'Popular spot.' He thought. But it didn't bother him in the slightest. It was nice to finally see other people around the castle. He welcomed it. Then he saw her walk over to a basket of apples on the counter and pick out a granny smith. One of the tarter apples that were known to mankind. Better in pies he thought. In any case, he turned to her and gave that same warm friendly easy smile.
"Hello Raven. It's nice to meet you as well. You're not interrupting in the least bit. Everyone has to eat right? My name is Randal. This is Cleo, and that exotic looking girl there, I'm told, is Tajmina. Please, stick around and talk with us if you like."
He finished the first four pancakes and put more on, then put the patties on as well. Soon everything had been cooked up and plated and an extra plate had been fetched for Tajmina and Raven if they wanted to eat as well. He poured himself and Cleo glasses of orange juice and sat down to eat with butter and syrup on the counter for their pancakes.

Who She's With:
Cleo looked away from Tajmina when she heard Randal speaking, saying that he thought it was a good idea to go both, and start with the hardest one. Being her potion. Cleo nodded her head, giving a small smile as he said that if she got tired, stuck or frustrated, they could take a break and go find something else to do around the castle. She considered telling him that her getting stuck was a possibility, but not getting frustrated or tired of it. Making potions was one of Cleo's favorite hobbies, and it was relaxing to her, oddly enough. But she kept from saying that, Cleo was starting to feel more comfortable around Randal, but not quiet that comfortable yet. Besides, Tajmina and Raven had joined them, best to not say anything in front of them. Randal then spoke to Tajmina, inviting her to have breakfast with them. That made Cleo's grin grow wider. She had wanted to ask Tajmina herself, so the fact that Randal offered was a relief, but it also reminded Cleo that he did seem to be a nice guy. After all, how many Masters had Cleo known that just invited a total stranger to breakfast without an ulterior motive? None.
It wasn't too long before the food had finished cooking, and Randal got the orange juice for them before sitting down to eat. It was odd when Cleo realized how quickly she'd adapted to the idea of Randal cooking as well. It had been a little strange for her at first, but she had gotten over it rather quickly. Maybe it was because Randal didn't seem awkward in the kitchen. Cleo had seen a few people who looked so awkward, out of place, and totally lost when trying to figure out their way around a kitchen. It was sad really, how accustomed people had came to just having servants do everything for them. Cleo shook off the thoughts as she sat down at the table, putting a little butter the pancakes, and just a little extra syrup. That was Raven's favorite things about pancakes, and something she'd rarely been allowed, so it was nice to have without having to sneak it out of the kitchen first.

Company:
Raven turned her head towards the man when he spoke to her, saying that it was nice to meet her and that she wasn't interrupting. Raven grinned at that, and kept the grin in place as he introduced himself as Randal. Then the blonde girl as Cleo and the exotic looking girl as Tajmina, Raven nodded her head at both of them in acknowledgement when Randal mentioned them. She noticed that the blonde stayed quiet, but gave her a friendly smile. Friendly but not talkative, probably a pet, Raven silently decided. Randal struck her as more being a master, from the way he held himself and hadn't seemed hesitate to speak to her the way that pets sometimes acted towards people. Tajmina, Raven was unsure of which one she might be at the moment. Randal said that she could stick around and talk with them if she wanted, and Raven gave him a friendly smile. "Thanks, I think I'd like that," she said.
Raven liked to meet new people, and the trio she had found in the kitchen seemed nice enough thus far. That was a good start. Raven stayed leaning against the sink as the breakfast was finished and then Randal and Cleo sat down to eat. Raven had taken a few bites of her apple at this point, enjoying the slight bitterness of it. Raven didn't care much for sweet things, so the apple was perfect for her. She thanked them for the extra plate that had been gotten for her, and sat down at the table. Raven hadn't planned on eating anything other than the apple, but she also didn't want to be rude either. Besides, she found that if she left the pancakes plain, they weren't half bad with just the mixed berries in them. She wouldn't want the syrup, that would be far too sweet for her.
Raven stayed quiet for a moment, then looked towards Tajmina curiously. "I've been trying to place your accent, and I think I've narrowed it down. Is it Indian?" Raven asked curiously. She let out a light chuckle, and offered a small smile. "Sorry if that's too blunt. I just usually ask whatever is on my mind," she said with a shrug of her shoulders. One thing Raven had never been accused of, was being shy. One thing she had been accused of, however, was being too blunt and straight to the point. But Raven just didn't see a point in beating around the bush. Besides, the best way to get an answer to a question was to just ask, so why not?
Frozen inside without your touch Without your love, darling Only you are the life among the dead All this time I can't believe I couldn't see Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems Got to open my eyes to everything Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul Don't let me die here There must be something more Bring me to life

She asked as they approached the kitchen doorway. When they entered, Ambrosia smiled at all of the people she saw and spoke a greeting to them. It was nice to see so many people around her home. She kept most of her attention on Drake since she was there with him though. Surprisingly enough, Ambrosia was completely dry by the time that they reached the kitchen.
