It was one of those times that indeed she felt lucky as one hand was press against the wall as she made her steps. Feeling as sick as possible .....as she walked with Aella moving at her feet.

She needed to get out of this place.

(Very .......for only 1 moment. 4/10)

The murky water would ripple further up the tunnel. For some odd reason it seemed to have thinned out a bit more here and in other places. More liquid then sludge. Something sharp and pointed breached the surface for only an instant, before sliding back beneath the gloom.

Another faint ripple would break the surface of the water as an air bubble trapped far below rose up. Mud covered scales would soon follow, and only a brief reptilian hiss would provide any warning before a creature lunged free of the sewage.

Jaws snapping, a sludge encrusted Totodile was attempting to make Aella his next meal!

Though the Emolga was quick on her paws as she seeked to avoid it with a backwards leap. Her body automatically going to of the moves she used the least ...quick attack as she tries to send whatever the creature was skidding away. Afterall, if she managed to dodge away ...Victoria wouldn't be so lucky. The sickness in her blood made her more sluggish then normal and its effect had moved to all of her limbs as she looked in surprise, ...that was closer to being startled at the break in the water.

Of the creature shooting forwards towards it's goal.

Quick enough to avoid the Totodile's jaws the attack was indeed, but striking back would find the reptile receiving only a rather sharp bop on the nose. Head jerking back slightly, the Totodile would blink, then let out a much longer hiss.

His eyes narrowed dangerously at the Emolga. Now...now it was personal.

The Emolga had been initially marked as prey; but now she had struck back. Prey didn't strike back. She was a threat to him...a potential rival for his territory. Rivals needed to be eliminated by any and all means available.

Focusing his gaze upon Aella, the Totodile hunkered down and produced a drawn out warning hiss. Though he stood upon the path before them, the reptile remained a constant position of no more then two steps away from the water....or at least what passed for it down here. A gator could travel quicker on land then most imagined; but their advantage would always be in the water.

Victoria press her head against the wall. More and more distractions ...she just wanted out of this hell hole, and as she saw the Totodile in front of her. She didn't even care to let the creature live for a moment more ....as she points a single finger at the Totodile.

At least this one couldn't use poison.

"Aella use, Thundershock." "Get this pest out of the way as soon as possible."

The Emolga's ears would actually twitch at that command. The girl wasn't playing nice, but then again, neither had she. Considering there was two dead grimer in their wake, and it would seem that this Totodile was about to get added to that list as her tail flicks once and then twice before she would gather the electricity from herself before sending it out as a small bolt of electricity towards her opponent.

The move arching and headed for the Totodile in rapid speed.

No, they weren't trying to waste any time here.

The Totodile presented no fear toward the Emolga's electrical attacks. It was true indeed that his kind were in danger when faced against such things; but such Pokemon roamed this area freely and in great numbers. Those that dwelled in the murk had been forced to find ways to deal with such Pokemon or die...and he certainly wasn't dead.

Taking one webbed claw, the Totodile would scrape it against his stomach, scooping off a large amount of the sludgy mud half encrusted there. Swinging his arm, the reptile would then flick the mud ball forward, aiming to strike the Emolga in the face. Take out the generator, and the current would cease.

Just to be certain however, the Water-Type would leap off the path and into the deep. Electricity travelled well through the water; but how would it fair in thick sewage?

(+1 to totodile's defense)

It didn't matter which of the two techniques was used, but both were effective as the Emolga's electricity would hit the water after the Totodile. The discharge just couldn't penetrate the sludge as it flared brightly but ...the water itself remain unharm. That precious moment that he had needed to get into the water had come with that mud being slung about as Aella took a paw and wiped it from her face.

She didn't like the idea of being touched by any of that filth as she looked at the slime on her paw with nothing but disgust.

She wanted out of here as back as Victoria as for once. She didn't retreat back to her trainer, but instead kept her eyes open and looking for the Totodile's return. No, in that water, she couldn't touch him but out ...outside, she would end up frying him.

The Emolga had a definite point, but the Totodile was more then prepared to counter it with one of his own. If she couldn't hurt him inside the sludge, but could outside of it, he just needed to bring the muk outside with him!

Rather then a slow bod to the surface, or a lunge back onto the path, the Totodile would leap out of the murk, flailing about wildly and sending mud scattering everywhere. Seconds later he would crash back into the sewage, only to resurface and repeat the process after.

The reptile was using one of the few moves which could provide him any real protection from the Emolga. Mud Sport. With each movement the Totodile was covering his entirely body with the thick, muddy sewage...as well as just about everything else around him!

If it worked, Aella would find her Thundershock significantly less effective.

((And with two more post, I am going to bed))

That was a task that was only for the swiftest of the swift as he would break the surface and the moment that it happen a flick of a motion and electricity would come flying towards her opponent. The air seemed to be charged by the power itself as it would jump upon the surface once as it headed for that creature that had made the mistake of leaving the depths.

Now whether or not the Totodile would be able to duck back down in time was another thing that would be solve quite swiftly.

The Totodile's descent wouldn't be the only contributing factor to his potential survival. Although the electricity was aimed at the reptile clearly enough, it would not be a clear path. Mud would continue to spray and fly about in large clumps, flying with the soul purpose of getting in the way of just such an attack!

((Fair enough.))

(18 - 13 + 15 - 11 = 9 x2 = 18dmg + Paraylzed)

The attack though wouldn't wavier as the electricity charged through the mud. Splattering it to the side and in many different ways as the shock continued towards it's target. Yes, he should have dove for it.....as the electricity hit him with all the unnecessary force of such an attack ....and in one move ....i twould seek to bring the Totodile to his knees.

But, they weren't done.

Afterall, hadn't Victoria said to end this quickly as the Emolga would seek to end this fight. Though there had no call for death this time, and she saw no reason to kill a pokemon if she could help it as she immediately choose a much more physical attack for her counter. Her entire body seemingly to blur as she would start forward at a run ....quicker, quicker, quicker she ran as she used Quick attack and charged forward towards her opponent.

If he was lucky he would hit, and if he was unlucky ...he would hit. If he hit, she knew the call for his blood would be made, and she would have no qualms about killing him in battle.

Totodile HP: 3

Smacking into the sewage hard, the Totodile would surprisingly not sink beneath the depths. In fact, after a moment's recovery he actually managed to stand back up. Apparently he'd managed to land on a section of the sludgy river which was almost entirely solid...an unsettling thing if you put too much thought into it.

For the Totodile, there wasn't even a sniff or a twitch of the tail. He was used to the nature of this place.

No, his one and only thought was on the electric fur-ball coming right for him. His was a world of eat or be eaten. Kill or be killed; and he wasn't particularly fond of the later option. Faced with his prey, his rival, his threat, coming right at him, the reptile would know only one thing to do. Opening his jaws wide, the Water-Type positioned himself carefully. His plan was simplicity itself...he was going to have Aella run straight into his mouth.

After that, he'd Crunch upon her bones like hard candy.

(20 - 3 + 14 - 12 = 19dmg - hp: -16ouch))

Though the term up down your throat wouldn't work for the moment as the charging pokemon smacked into him. The force so great that she would break the bones in his neck as he attempted to eat her ...shattering them so completely that they would splinter against his skin as the Emogla felt only light brushes of his teeth. Teeth that no longer had the will nor muscle power to come down with any kind of force ....as the pokemon jumps backwards shaking what was blood on her fur away. She was surprise she was on the floating piece of crude as well.

Though she wouldn't puzzle it long as she leap and glided back to the safety of the ground. Looking back at the dead pokemon, she had had no wish to kill him, but, he had been much weaker than she had every guess as Victoria would start forward again.

The girl didn't have the strength to carry her unless it was dangerously necessary. She would continue to walk slowly towards her destination as the poison continued to do its's work.

((2/10))

Each step was horribly painful ....she felt her lungs on fire, and she found the air was toxic before ...seem to be suffocating her now. She press one hand tight against the side of the wall as beads of sweat ran down her face. How much further until she reached the exit of this place.

It haven't seemed to take so long getting here, but getting out ...seemed to be horribly long. The fact that they were leaving dead pokemon in their wake wasn't helping either.

What was that now, the third one they have killed down here.

In all ....Aella had a death rate of 75% with only 25% of the pokemon she faced getting away with her life. And most of those were only because she bothered to capture them ....the thought flicker in her mind.

She was very sure that the Emolga wouldn't be happy about her musing, or was that the start of madness rumbling from the poison coursing in her veins.
