 Lance looked up from his position at the window as he heard someone's voice in the corner of the room. Turning his head, he looked at the two young girls that he didn't even take notice of earlier, wondering how long they had been in there with him. He almost growled at himself for his own absent-mindedness before one of the girls neared him and looked out the window alongside him. At her statement, Lance could almost feel himself smirk. This girl certainly didn't seem like the kind of girl to say something so dark, so true. Sighing, he looked back at the students passing below them."That may be true, but the level of ignorance nowadays is too high for many people to realize that." he said, looking back at the two girls.(( c: Sure, here: Linky))

Alonna Ridela She chuckled darkly, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear. "And this is why it is up to the non-humans to see the truth, and laugh at the ridiculousness that is the human race." Sighing, her big green eyes focused on a handsome young man with blond hair much like hers. Smirking, she placed her finger on the window where his head was. "My dearest brother thinks I'm too angry to be blonde. My beloved sister disagrees, saying the irony in my speech makes my hair that much more perfect. Tell me, stranger. What do you think?"{{Thanks emotion_awesome }}

 Lance listened to her speech, only fully holding onto random phrases she spoke, not caring too much that she was basically insulting his own species. She was likely a different species then, and in that case, it must be easy for her to do. He looked back in her direction as she suddenly addressed him before returning his gaze to the window. After thinking a moment, he folded his arms across his chest and leaned against the windowsill."I don't really care. Is it not just a color?" he asked bluntly, glancing at her for a moment. He had fought truly evil men before, most just ruthless serial killers bent on destruction, and they all had different hair colors, so just about every hair color seemed untrustworthy to him. "Besides, if you think about it, it could kind of look like fire." he continued, remembering how one blonde man he once fought had his short hair spiked up like flames.

Alonna Ridela "I suppose you're right," she sighed, her left hand fiddling with the edge of her long scarf. "But how sad it feels, to feel such pity for my own race. Well, according to the school, I'm human. I don't know, I like saying my race is witch more. What race are you? I'd like to say human, but it seems far too simple. Lycanthrope, perhaps? Or maybe alchemist?"

 Lance chuckled lightly and looked towards the window out of the corner of his eyes before speaking."Nope, just human." He pondered over telling her about his job in the military as an assassin but quickly decided against it. He had just met this girl, after all. Looking back at the blonde, he lingered on the fact that she was a witch, but based on her appearance, he would have never expected her to be anything near it. Though he did have to admit her way of thinking did resemble something more complex. Looking at the other girl in the room, he wondered what species she could be. Perhaps human, but most students in this school seemed not to be. It could be anything, really, and he suddenly found himself a bit uneasy being at this school with so many unknowns."What about you?" Lance asked the pink-haired girl, feeling he could not trust her if he did not even know her species.

Alonna Ridela Sighing, she pushed her bangs back and continued to stare out the window. "Stress, mostly. I'm student body president, so I'm charged with memorizing each and every student, as well as their powers and race. I also have to be able to be on call for any student at any time and it's all...so hard...that, combined with the fact that the guy I've been in love with forever just rejected me, saying he will only ever love me like a sister, and that's why I was crying." Taking another deep breath, she wiped her face and set her forehead on the glass, watching a blonde young man scurry across the green. "Rejection, such a bitter, unfeeling word. It radiates anger, and pain, just as I suppose I do now. And bitterness..."{{It's cool, and thanks!}}

 Lance looked at the pink-haired girl and mentally slapped himself for being so oblivious. He didn't know why he felt so off today.. Maybe he just needed some rest whenever he found his dorm. "S-sorry..." he said and turned away from the girl. He wasn't used to someone with so much confidence, and the way she rocked on her heels made her look like such a child, he almost smiled. Suddenly, he lifted at eyebrow at the blonde's statement."All that just on one person? That's pretty rough." he said with a light sigh. Well, there wasn't much he could do about it anyway. Lance was really too lazy to do so much work for nothing. "And rejection is something I guess we all have to get used to" he said with a shrug.((OCC: maybe you should edit the quotes out of the post, Toxic; it seems to have screwed up the whole page xDD))

 ((OOC: Yeah it was the quotes. Thanks. My computer is acting up a bit with gaia and basically everything. Even text colour is acting stupid. Like, originally the light pink is actually black. So, sorry if it's hard to read. )

 Lance looked back at Annalis and decided it wouldn't hurt to at least give the two girls a small smile. He smiled lightly at her and hesitated before taking her hand into a handshake. At least, that's what he figured she wanted him to do. He was taught basic formalities when he was young, but it was always with men. A woman's hand felt very different. It was softer and had less force in it."Lance. Lance Mortlock" He had lingered for a moment about telling her his last name but eventually found no harm in it. Suddenly feeling his own stomach rumble, he looked out the window at the position of the sun. It had to be about noon by now, and he didn't even know where the cafeteria was. Well, whatever. He had to come across it sooner or later.

 Lance chuckled lightly at the thought of being referred to as 'just a human,' before looking back at the pink-haired witch."Have been all my life" he said with a smirk. He felt his stomach almost ache at the light mention of curry but ignored it. Normally, he would have been complaining or sulking about the school, overly exaggerating his hunger. But for some reason, he felt that he shouldn't. It was strange but another thing he ignored as looked at the two young girls who both seemed so opposite one another.

Alonna Ridela "It's a thankless job," she shrugged, reaching out to shake their hands. "Alonna Ridela. A pleasure, Mr. Mortlock, Miss Aisuki." Turning back to the window, she sighed again. "There's a diner, just down the way. It's late and I'm hungry. Care to come with me?"
