"The Rare Bone is 10,000 gold! How the heck can I get it?" Tsuki exclaimed rather quickly. It was spoken clear enough to be audible but there was obvious stress in his voice. He had no money, and a potion. Where would he get that kind of money? Ya, he knew they were rare but that was over-the-top madness if the teacher thought he could afford that.

Hearing the boy's voice and the amount of expression in it ...the sound of something crashing would quickly follow. The man sitting up straighter as he seemed to be paying much more attention now.
"Tusk, how you get this this number?" "Oh, nevermind."
He would exclaim getting the boy's name wrong.
"Whoa, whoa calm down and think for a moment." "I take it you talked to Excell and he told you that you have to get him a rare bone right?" "And I take it you have been to the merchant, though I have no clue why you went there without any cash on you."
"And they gave you the price of a Rare Bone, which is quite right."
"So, what did the merchant tell you to do?"
The man would ask with more patiences than most Strike team members would have for such a student. But then again, Professor Barney was afterall once a Tactic Professor.
Patiences was simply one of many strategies he had to use in the past.

Ignoring the teacher saying his name wrong Tsuki replied "He said to go to the other side of the island and mine until I get some valuable gems.". He knew all to well what the merchant said wasn't that simple. Steel Pokemon were careful guardians over their rocks. Not to mention he was seriously under leveled for this place. Only reason he won the Durant battle was because of the type match ups.

"Sounds simple enough ...go mining, or let me guess you think you aren't quite ready yet?" "If so, maybe you should take advantage of the Gym or even the Pokemon Center and get your pokemon's levels up."
"In other words, train."
"There is nothing wrong with that word, and if you are calling me for the cash ...I can tell you up front."
"I am completely broke."
Professor Barney declares sounding a bit piss at the boy's words. Afterall, it wasn't lost on him what to do next, it just sounded like it was going to be a bit more difficult than the boy had planned.
Didn't he tell him that it wasn't going to be easy?

If Tsuki knew his teacher was pissed or even cared for that matter, it didn't show. Besides teachers were supposed to guide their students. Up until graduation at least. Every stupid question at a time.
"You and me both. But very well." he said, hanging up. Take on a gym? Yeah right he thought as left the center. And left the town. He decided he'd train against some wild Pokemon. He'd stay on the outskirts so he could rush to the Pokemon Center if something happened.
Prime went in his Pokeball as they left the town. Not like that racher said NOT do this.

Putting away the phone, the man would go back to what he had been doing before.....playing his game. A smile was on his face then as he thought about Tusk's trials. He would afterall have to figure this out on his own, and if training made him stronger ...then it was all to the good that he did it as soon as possible.

Tsukis eye twitched. He thought about telling something rude to the Pokemon but he didn't. He simply walked on, hands on his belt for his Pokemon. He glanced around him carefully. An opponent could be anywhere and that's what he was searching for. However he just looked like a kid scratching his hip. His adventure would be quite different from most of the other students, not that he minded it when he thought about it. More of a challenge meant he'd have to get stronger. And be worthy of his brother.

(( I see I'm back to seeing no Pokemon. At this rate I'm thinking about sneaking my character back to Beginners Island.))
Tsuki kept on walking. He hoped the place wasn't as desolate as it seemed. He also hoped he didn't meet that Piplup until he had a Pokeball ready. The trainer kept at a simple walking pace. If there was a better place to train his fire types, he didn't know of it.

((You won't have any luck there))
The Riolu would appear then ...as it seemed that his though his search had finally yielded fruit. One foot going upwards as he would smash a rock, and then another one ....as the pokemon he had stumble upon seemed to be in training themselves.
This was what the Riolu was doing.
As his ears twitches and he turns to look at the approaching trainer and pokemon.

Tsuki saw the Riolu. It was training too as it seemed. Good then they could have a good match. "You look like you're training as well Riolu. Want to have a battle?" he asked sending out his Heatmor. Blaze put his arms out an a shielding X position waiting for the for to make the first move. Had Prime been there he would have went along training with the Riolu. He would also be mortified if he saw Tsuki fighting a fellow fighting type of the same personality.

The Riolu would give a bow, a chance a pokemon of this type didn't happen everyday. And he would be foolish to let it pass him by ....as he does a quick bow before he rushes forward at the Heatmor. If he choose to defend instead of attack ...then whom was he to let such a chance slip through his fingers.
His tail streaking outwards as he aims to hit against the pokemon with a Cross chop. Arms pulled in a X formation as he would start forward at the fire type ...only release that hold once he was close enough to hit against him.
Yes, this was going to be a hard battle.

It would appear Blazes defense was stronger than the attack. He pushed his arms outward as they clashes, sending both several feet back. "Good job on the defense Blaze use another Incinerate!" Tsuki called out. Too bad Tsuki didn't have any Pokeballs. With the Riolus potential they could have both gotten strong in no time. Oh well. Blaze shot a chain of fire at the Riolu. Luckily with no type advantages they would kill this one in two moves. Or at least, that might have been their plan .....as the Riolu came forward. He had missed his first attack, but there was no way that he would miss a second one ...as he pushes off swiftly. Using Quick attack he would go underneath the guard of the pokemon's attack ....as he went straight for that chin to stop that flame from coming out.
A swiftness that made his tail stream out behind him .....as he hit with both paws out in his counter-attack.

((14 damage?)) Blaze's attack hit dead on. Right in the face as it seemed. The counter did nothing to the fire type as he looked up and a burst of flames came out of his mouth. It suddenly got hotter. Looking back at the Riolu he prepared his defense once more. Tsuki however knew that attack did a substantial amount of damage. "Riolu you ok?" he asked in concern to the wild Pokemon. But he allowed Blaze to remain on the defense just in case the Pokemon wished to continue the match. Killing another pokemon was not on his agenda. Blaze Heatmor (m) lvl:3/Bold Hp: 15/19 Pp: 18/22 Att: 9 Def: 9 spd: 9 Sp Att: 12 Sp Def:9 Moves: Incinerate, Lick, Night Slash Exp: 163/200 3/5

Raven would wince faintly as the blow was dealt upon him. It had been far too long since he'd faced a human adversary in combat, or even spared with one. Gritting his teeth, sword held low, he would dart forward at Alex. "It is the sword of my ancestor, passed down through the generations..." Raven would state, even in the midsts of rolling off to the left "...but the man whom grasped this hilt before me was not fit to wield it" The youth half declared, half roared as he lunged toward his opponents thigh...but mid-motion he shifted the hilt, altering the angle and turning the thrust into a slash aimed for the Achilles tendon.
Fable would growl deeply as the Riolu halted his strike. He'd been so close...only to have the Jackal rob him of a dynamic blow. His fangs began to grind, the flame upon his tail steadily growing in size. The Riolu would pay...and dearly.
The Charmander's tail would flick briefly. Not now however. Using every ounce of will he had, Fable fought against the rage building within him. Now was not the time for such reckless action...he had to be patient. To unleash his anger with his blow, to burn the Riolu in the fires of his anger. Until then, he needed to remain calm.
Keeping his tail flame at his back, Fable would dart back and hunker down. There wasn't much hope in evading for the moment. He'd simply need to take whatever was thrown at him...
Starter Pokemon: Charmander [M] Name & Level: Fable, Lv 5 [Temperament] Quiet Bio: Raven first met Fable during his time living on the streets, finding the fire-tailed reptile in one of hundreds of alleys he'd been in. Battered, beaten, and bloodied, it was clear the Charmander had seen it's fair share of battles...and lost every single one. He bit Raven only five seconds after their initial encounter. Fable had lost all trust in humanity. Raven was never fully aware of the details, but the Charmander's former trainer had been abusive. He'd placed him in battles with impossible odds, expecting him to combat and defeat opponent after opponent with little to no rest...and when he lost, it was his trainer whom would personally add to the reptiles injuries. Finally tired of wasting his time on "some worthless newt" his trainer had abandoned him in the dirtiest alleyway he could find and just left him there. The boy hadn't even given him a name...at least not one he cared to repeat.
For days after that first encounter Raven returned to the alley, usually meeting with the same result; yet still he kept coming, sometimes he even brought food. It was generally scraps most likely out of the garbage, but it was food none the less. One day the Charmander finally asked why the child kept returning...not with words of course, but with his eyes. The curiosity at the boy's actions were clear in the reptiles gaze. Raven had said he saw a fire in Fables eyes that day when they first met, the desire to become truly powerful. More time passed after that, but the only thing which mattered after that point was the outcome. Even without a Pokeball the Charmander decided to follow the boy from that day forward, even earning the name Fable in the process. Raven would speak of spending the reward money on new clothes and a bath, but what was consistently leave out was the purchase of a single Pokeball. There was no need. Even without it, Fable would follow his trainer to the depths of hell and back.
