 Akio Odetta Penburg Akio looked back when he heard footsteps and saw Ailith who's eyes were blazing with an anger he hadn't seen before but he smiled "Hey you joined me!" he said and smiled walking over to her but he stopped seeing a giant spider lower behind her ready to strike. He shook his head and tackled her her just as the giant spider struck at her "Look out!" he said and got back up "This...is gonna be an issue." he said and got ready for the fight.

 Ailith gasped when he tackled her. She'd never met anyone with as much nerve as him... but then she looked up and saw the giant spider. Rolling out of the way of one of the hairy eight legs, she stood up and drew her weapon. "Thank you." She promised herself that she would compliment him later about the save. And compliments were a rare thing to hear from Ailith. Slicing at the spider's side, it dodged enough that the legs that she'd intended to chop off were only grazed. It turned back to her, a bloody gurgle could be heard coming from its oozing mouth. "We need to keep at least one of us in its eyes..." She said, finding herself being drawn into the eight black orbs that lured things in.

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio dodged the leg on the spider and struck at it but his weapon only went in a little and he was thrown back hard enough to hit the cave wall. He shook his head and grabbed his scythe again and when he looked up he saw the spider eying Ailith and suddenly a voice was in his head.
Never look into her eyes they can make almost anyone feel secure and thats how they fall prey to her fangs.
He held his scythe like a spear and it looked like her way about to throw it that way until he spun around and threw it like out would throw a boomerang only he put his whole arm into it. The scythe spun at a pretty good speed before implanting itself into the spiders eyes sending it into a fit of rage. The spider turned her attention towards Akio and rushed at him crushing into him and pinning him against the wall and only stepped back to try and hit him with it fangs. Akio grasped them but he instantly felt how hot they were and his hands began to burn but he help but he bit his lip and closed his eyes at the burning sensation and began to kick the spider trying to make it back off. Akio half wondered if he was still help within the constraints of the leveling system and without knowing what his class was and without killing any worthwhile enemy he had no leveled up enough.

Ailith was pulled out of the trance when the scythe pierced the creature's eyes. Snapping out of it and shaking her head to clear away the fuzzy feeling that still was within her head. When the spider charged Akio, she stumbled after it in a sad attempt to attack it, but wasn't nearly fast enough. Once she'd gained control of herself again, she ran up behind the creature and began to climb onto its hairy back, the coarse hairs piercing her skin and infecting her with drowsy chemicals. Fighting back the chemicals with sheer willpower alone, she pierced the creatured head with her sword, making it even more pissed off. It tossed its head back and flung her into the opposite cavern wall. Hitting the rock with a snarl, she stood up again, doing her best to be defiant, especially since it turned to go after her. She no longer had her primary weapon and took out a whip that was hidden inside of a pouch on her belt. Uncoiling it and cracking it threateningly, she lashed out and removed the scythe, throwing it in Akio's direction.

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio caught the scythe and struck it downwards at the spider hitting its eye again as it screaming in pain. Akio only pushed it in deeper and forced it back until it began to throw its head about in pain and him along with it but he held his scythe and didn't let go until he was thrown off with it. The spider let out a weak growl and made a mad dash towards Ailith. He tossed the scythe and it landed right into the spiders neck causing her to stop moving. Akio suddenly felt terrible as the spider looked at him as if it was sad and weak and reached towards him with one of its hairy legs before it died.

Then the creature turned into dust and faded like any other fantasy death in this world. She walked forward and picked up her sword, which had slowly began to desintigrate with teh acidity of the spider's blood. "That thing is not worth pitying." She said quietly. "In this world, if you're not used to death in your world, death is essential for life. You'll grow stronger with the more creatures you face and defeat." In the center of the room a door opened within the floor. Limping over to it, she looked down, "That spider was their pet... and the true enemies lie below." Looking up at him, she raised an eyebrow, "Can you handle this mission?"

Akio Odetta Penburg Akio sighed "I know but whats the point of...." he sighed and shook his head. Things were so much easier when he knew it was just a game. His hands were still burning and he looked below "Yeah I'll do it..." he said and looked at her "But you stay up here I'll be back soon." he jumped down the hole to face the trolls.

Ailith was about to say something else about being too soft, but then he quickly reverted away from the topic and dove feet first into the ogres' lair. She sighed and walked over to the nearest rock and sat down, contemplating what on earth she could do to pass the time. Then again, he wasn't experienced in the whole solo quest thing. He wouldn't have beaten the spider without her help nor would she without his. Shrugging,s he stood up and walked to the pit and jumped into it. Landing with a soft thud, she gazed into the darkness, using her stealth abilities to help her locate the nearest living thing and her surroundings.

Akio Odetta Penburg Suddenly screams could be heard in the shadows however there were three of them there was obviously Akio's and two others. They could b heard fighting something and talking " Where did this thing come from!?" Akio yelled out in panic.
It just came out of nowhere!
What do we do this thing is too fast!
"Try to at least hurt it so we can run away, I don't know what this thing is but it's gonna kill us!" and the sound of fighting continued until a loud roar could be heard before a loud SMACK! Akio could be heard screaming before he came flying from the shadows and landed on his back scythe flew from his hand but so did the old mans staff. A creature about the size of Ailith walked out of the shadows though it was hunched over when it stood tall it was larger than both of them by about five feet. I roared again and began to run around ready to strike at the beings in the cave.

 Ailith had watched the scene in horror. Something kept her from running forward and helping. It was like there was a mystic force in the air that was preventing her from helping Akio and the others within the cave. In actuallity, the game was preventing her from helping him, because this was a RPC level. NPCs like herself wouldn't be able to help unless she managed to find a way through the glitch. NPCs weren't supposed to have feelings, but she felt the cold horror wash over her like a tidal wave within her spirit. Suddenyl there was a hiccup in the system and she was freed to rush forward and take a blow from the troll that had been about to swat Akio away again. She hit the wall with a sickening thud and blood gushed from her mouth and she laid there like a ragdoll that had been thrown on the ground.

════════════════════════════════╝ Akio looked back in horror when he saw Ailith get hit and bolted up and ran towards her however an invisible barrier stopped him. He shook his head " Its a boss fight..I can't help the NPC'S..." he said and looked back as his Scythe suddenly appeared in his hand. He gripped it tight and hopped he didn't die as he rushed forward to fight the creature. It didn't take long before the fight hot intense as both were trading blows..this beast as right on Akio's level but his health was already low because of the spider. Akio was covered in cuts and blood and the creature began to display cuts and wounds as well. Akio had to keep himself from collapsing..he was still only human. The fight continued but Akoi wasn't landing hits anymore he was only getting slower and weaker as his health dropped below half. He fell to his Knee's and dropped his scythe and said the words " I can't do this...." he said. Akio might be someone supposed to bring hope to this games characters but he also needed some assistance.

Ailith laid there, her eyes shut for a moment before she looked up and watched the scythe appear in Akio's hand. She laughed a little, but it ended up in her coughing out some blood. Spitting onto the floor, she watched as he grew weaker and slower. "You can't just sit there like a fool!" She growled as she muttered a slowing spell and sending it at the troll, slowing it to an almost complete stop. Then she sat up as she took out a potion and drank it, feeling its healing powers raging throughout her body before she felt strong enough to stand. She couldn't help but feel hopeful. He certainly had surprised her more than once today. "If I can stand up, then so can you!" Pointing at him with one hand, she muttered 'Cura' and his health increased.
Then she glared at the creature that was about to break free from the slowing spell. "I still have a couple of hits left in me and you will too if you don't stand up here before it goes back on its rampage."

════════════════════════════════╝ Akio shook his head though he felt a little better he still didn't think he'd beat the creature...he wasn't a fighter he sure wasn't some great hero. He shook sighed " I can't do it....I'm not a fighter." he said "I'm a boy who runs away from fights...I'm small and insignificant.." he said and stood up leaning against the barrier " I don't know what it is with you people confusing me for some hero but your wrong..who's to say your not the hero." he said " I think you have it all wrong, your the hero here...I'm just the secondary character.." he said.

When he started to argue about how she was the 'main character', Ailith was about to start arguing, but the game hiccuped again and she was stunned. She flickered for a moment before becoming whole again. She wasn't aware of what was happening, but the troll started towards Akio again, though not nearly as quickly as before.
