Ah. Didn't get a name in return. Oh well. Shrugging, Julio turned back towards Cael who looked like a cornered animal right about now.

"You really should try to relax more. Enjoy life a little more while you still have it," he suggested before taking a bite out of his lunch. Soon, another hunter had come on by, asking the sun hunter if he knew any details of the upcoming mission. That had his attention. It was something was rather curious of himself. He couldn't think of much that would require so many hunters present for the mission.

Past the two, he spotted Heidi once again. Grinning, he gave her a wave.

"Wait, no don't just-" He tried to reach one hand to grab Andy's arm, but missed, barely scraping the ends of her coat fabric as she just upped and left. -"Leave me here." With Julio. And that, oh god was that Liam's b***h- no wait, he really didn't need to think about that - Heidi, as well?

- The moment of distraction was ruined entirely by Jamisson's presence. In his hiding place under the table, Caelius considered his options. One: most people who knew him did not ever mention Liam in front of him, mostly because the two got along as well as oil and water. And something combustible. Two: he really did not give a ******** as to what was going on in the Death Division, because that was the division where said person that got along as well as oil with water was. Three: Liam was a division leader and he was for all intents and purposes, a runic Hunter, which pretty much ensured that he would continuously be guaranteed a lifetime's supply of "shallow end of the gene pool" jokes.

Four, he was going to have a talk with Andy later about just leaving him like this - oh god was Julio really lecturing him at the same time?

Awkward silence. They were still staring.

"No see," Caelius finally clarified, trying to keep his voice very quiet as to not attract the attention of anyone else, "Just in case you are unaware of the situation, I am a Sun Hunter. You are a Death Hunter. I do Sun Hunter things and only Sun Hunter things, but its really nice to know that everyone in your division has not been informed of this mission." He tried to play it out as if he knew and was withholding information but the truth was, he honestly had no clue either.

"Oh look.. " Billie snickered a bit as she peeled the banana she'd bought. "I think he's embarassed. Isn't his hair funny?" Kids nowadays!

She took a bite and chewed, still watching the younger hunters with as much of a smile as she could manage while eating. She'd been a bit of a mom to their crew at the outpost. There wasn't any doubt that if she could have she'd have been a great mom to her own kids but having kids was not in the cards for Billie. She didn't dwell on it, instead she enjoyed being a surrogate for the newbies and recruits who signed on with little idea as to what they were in for.

Billie watched as the young man was seemingly teased though she didn't catch all the dialogue as she had in line. She turned back to Warden and then looked at the long empty gap of table between them and the next group.

"Are we scary old people?" The moon hunter chuckled a bit and polished off the banana. Now that she'd eaten something she was feeling especially hungry. It had sort of snuck up on her.

As she dug into her salad, she choked down a bite (iceberg lettuce.. uck!), and attempted to talk without a full mouth. "Let's take a walk after this." Fresh air would be nice after the crowded hallways. She didn't want to repeat everyone else's questions of 'why are we here?' 'what are we doing?'. She knew she would find out soon so best to enjoy the peace, no matter how short lived.

Oh ya, she was sooooo not doing this right now. She dropped her fork to her plate with a clatter, and lifted a napkin to dab at her face before she dropped it over top of her half consumed dinner. Then, she pushed herself up from the table, her chair scraping backwards once again as she got to her feet. In a voice dripping with sarcasm, she spoke, not giving a damn if anybody was listening or not. "I'm sorry, but as incredibly enlightening all of this idle chit chat has been, I have other things I need to be doing."

And then, with a quick glance over to Lucas, "Do enjoy your jello. Try not to choke on it." She gave him her sweetest smile before turning and walking out of the cafeteria at a brisk pace.

Julio waved to her...he..he waved to her~. No! No! That was bad! He waved to her. He acknowledged her presence.

...Awww! He acknowledged her presence even with other ladies around!

Stop it, Heidi! Ugh! You're here to get a snack and then go back to work. She had to fight against a smile as she stiffly raised a hand to return the wave. Why was he here? "Hey..." There sure was a group around poor Caelius, huh? Poor guy. He looked like he would appreciate some attention being diverted off of him.

"I just..came for a snack. I won't be here long." A snack? The girl needed like six sandwiches she was skinny as a rail! But she supposed she could handle a little bit of conversation with Julio if it got attention off Caelius. "Wait.." Did...did Caelius just say what she thought he said? Heidi stared at Jamisson, looking unimpressed. "Do you seriously know nothing? I have an entire notebook filled with intel for this mission."

She leaned over to peer under the table. "You okay in there? Would you like some supplies for a long campout?"

John gave a small wave back to the young lady who passed by his table, completely oblivious to any notion she'd been having about him as a feature in a romance novel. In turn, one of his little moonies also received a nod before he turned his attention to watch the new amusing centerpiece of the room. Caelius. Perhaps it was simply because he was still trying to wrap how such a loud and fussy boy could have been related to Liam - who was very different. Still, he could see the relation between the pair in little things. Posture, small gestures of the head, certain furrows of the brow.

They were entertaining to listen to, if nothing else, John finally finding it prudent to start actually eating, as it would be a waste to let his food get cold because Ferdinand was off raging at somebody - perhaps that was who was rubbing off on Caelius there. Yes, Caelius was like the combined child effort of both Liam and Ferdinand.

The mental image actually caused him to chuckle.

Of course Jamisson didn't give a damn about Caelius being a Sun, he barely knew him other then 'the son of the division leader' so what was he to care about how Caelius felt about his old man? And really, Gene pool jokes? He would gladly hear those in exchange for putting his foot up someones a**.

"Hell you are his son, you talk like a whisper all the time?" He leaned in a bit to hear the Sun Hunter more proper. "Yes yes, you hit things, good job. I can do that to I just like to wait before I do that part." His eyes narrowed as Caelius mentioned not everyone being informed. He also shot a look at Heidi, that suck up to Liam. "No you little Brown Nose Buck, I don't know. Reason being I was on a job up until a day ago when I was on my way here. I've been cleaning up the mess a few other hunter groups have left in failing to catch a doppleganger these past three months."

He paused and glanced at Caelius then Heidi and then made a flat stare. "Are you trying to get more points with the boss by helping his son? Now that's just cute."

"Woah, woah! What are you doing down there?" Julio asked while glancing under the table to see what Caelius was up to. Strange guy. Though, upon hearing Heidi's voice, he straightened up and smiled at her.

"Hello again, mamacita," he greeted, "Care to join us?"

Looking between her and Jamisson, he raised an eyebrow.

"Easy there. No need to get all hostile," he said to them both. Really, people needed to learn to relax! Getting tense before a big mission was not good. That aside, there was no telling who they'd be grouped up with. It was best to not stir up any bad blood.

This was not happening. It was like being a trainee all over again, but worse.

Desperately, he shoot a look, between the arguing Julio and Jamisson to his last resort, Heidi. Or rather, he was going to when he suddenly noticed the Moon Division Leader John, watching all of them from a relative distance.

"Division Leader at twelve o-clock," he managed to hiss, finally pulling himself out of his 'hiding place' to sit up straight on the bench very much like a kid who had suddenly noticed his parents were back home. It didn't help that the table was still covered in his and Andy's food supplies.

"I wonder how old they are," Warden murmured, half to himself, half to Billie as he idly watched the group at the table next to theirs, chewing absently on his half of a tunafish sandwich. It may have been a little dry, but it tasted relatively decent for cafeteria food.

"Makes you miss...certain people, doesn't it?" he added quietly, with a sideways glance at Billie. He didn't like talking about the past any more than she did, but it was not as if you could avoid it.

Ignoring something did not make it go away, after all.

But it was a depressing topic, and Warden quickly grabbed onto the new subject as Billie shifted the conversation around. He glanced down at the wide, empty table and rolled his eyes, the corners of his lip twitching upwards.

"I think it might be you," he said teasingly. "They're all scared of you."

A few moments later, he had finished eating, and Warden stood, stretching out his legs. His back felt stiff and his shoulders tense, and he reached down to take Billie's tray for her.

"You mentioned a walk? Shall we take one now, then?"

"What, you?" he teased Isaac, grinning all the broader at how he had pointed to himself. Poor boy, he could never catch a break. Not with Cliff on his a** all the time. Luckily, Amy seemed willing to join in the meet and greet, effectively breaking off anymore teasing Cliff was about to send Isaac's way. Instead, he grinned as the girl spoke up, clearly pleased by her willingness to be friendly. Straightening up again, he give her a genuine smile as he touched his palm to his chest, (his hat was still in the middle of the table, or he would have used that,) giving her a shallow little dip of his head in respect. "A pleasure to meet you ma'am," he replied, his eyes drifting to Mya as she spoke up as well. The scowling girl earned herself the same genuinely pleased look Amy had, his grin never faltering in the face of her sarcastic smile. "And you, Miss Mya." Cliff had found early on that getting a bee in your bonnet over every cynical, angry hunter was just not worth it. There were a lot of them, and if he was gonna be like that for all of them there wasn't going to be any time of the day to do anything else. He'd also found that smiling at them rarely worked in making them feel better, but considering that was how he acted towards everyone, he went with it anyway and prayed for the best.

When Lucas' turn came, the death hunter finally took his hand off his chest, instead leaning across the table a bit to extend his hand, free palm bracing himself on the table. "Hey man, how's it going?" he offered amiably, waiting a few seconds before he sat himself down in his chair again and scooted his tray back towards him. Of course, in all the rough housing, his fork had long since gone missing, and the blonde looked a little confused for half a second, lifting his tray just as Zoey shoved him. Which didn't move him an inch, much to his great amusement.

"Hey hey, are you sayin' I'm not nice?" he replied in an amused tone, not even bothering to act hurt by the implication. Instead, he dipped his head under the table for a second before popping back up, scrunching up his face a bit, "Where's my fork?"

"..Can...can you please not call me 'mamacita', Julio?" Heidi asked quietly, pushing herself up from looking under the table. It made her think back on things she didn't want to think back on..at least until her stomach growled again. Heidi blushed and did her best to ignore it. Though Jamisson's accusation was doing a damn fine job of that. Her eyes narrowed in his direction.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I upset you with my clear understanding that when a man is hiding under a table he wants to be left alone? I apologize. How silly of me. I just figured, being in the death division, you would know how to pick up on information." She remained calm and pleasant as she said this, even softening in the face and smiling. "That's cute, thinking I'm trying to score points with Liam. I can assure you I only take what I rightfully earn." She turned to Julio with that same smile. "Oh, I'm not hostile at all." She put her hands on the table and learned toward the mist hunter, giving a small smirk. "I think you know what I'm like when I'm 'hostile', hmmm?"

Eh? Heidi pushed off the table and looked down at Caelius hissed out something and got up from under the table, quickly looking up and ahead of her to see John nearby. Oops! "Oh! Hello, Sir."

"So it's wrong of me to assume that one could believe this boy could have information from his Father about what's going on because he's the lead of our division? Damn if he wanted to be alone he's in the middle of this mess of a gathering he should have ate in his room if he wanted that." Jamisson did not take kindly to it being implied he was bad at his job. Though he kept it in check. For now.

"Well at least your a modest little kiss a** aren't you?" He smiled putting as much fake politeness in it. His scar ruined the smile a bit, but enough with Heidi.

Without missing a beat he was up from his half kneeling spot beside the table resting against it reaching into his jacket back to Johnathan. He spoke quietly now, "Now I will apologize for... interrupting your meal." He paused looking at Caelius pile of food. Suddenly between it and Caelius was a very small bottle of bourbon. "But take it from an old rude b*****d, kid, you have a wealth of information and knowledge you where born related to. If I where you I'd milk every damn minute out of him if it meant even a slim chance at living longer."

With that he stepped back waving to the three other hunters, "See ya'll in the field," and with that he turned and made his way back to Gabby.

"Fine, fine," sighed Julio at Heidi's request. With a light shrug, he listened to the others for some more, shaking his head.

"I suppose that's true, but the same cannot be said for him, no?" he added, keeping a fairly light tone. At the mention of a division leader being by, he glanced over his shoulder to see that the Moon lead was indeed some distance behind him. With a grin, he gave him a salute, then turned back around.

At least Caelius wasn't under the table any longer.

"Now uh.. where were we?"

Jonathan actually laughed when he noticed the group actually straighten up and suddenly act like he was the teacher who had come back into the classroom. Amusing, really, and he was more than willing to share that. However, good behaviour or not, they still had John's attention. After all, if he looked away he could see young Caelius suddenly flying across the table to try and strangle somebody.

As cathartic as he imagined it would be for the little guy, he also imagined that it would make quite a mess and then they'd have to get another hunter to replace whoever he strangled. It was simply easier to prevent it, really. Never the less, John got up and walked over to the table that had previously been being used as a hiding place, giving a look to all of those who had been gathered around it before he ducked down to actually look underneath it, as though he was entertaining some notion about the underside of the table.

With that done, he pat both Caelius and Heidi on the heads, ruffling their hair with his obscenely large hands and grinning.

"Keep up that energy, you'll need it."
