W-ait, the robot was going to explode now? Astra was ready to get the heck out of there, but everyone else was keen to take a pumpkin with them. Astra frowned at this; would carrying a pumpkin away from the pumpkin patch damage them? They were plants after all, and taking them out of the soil couldn't be a good thing.

Still, it would be better then getting blown up. She grabbed one of the pumpkins, then flew up to a safer altitude, waiting for the others.

The mecha began to glow and shake with increasing violence. Beams of light began shooting from the cracks of it's suit. Moments later the entire area was filled with a bright, blinding flash and the concussive force of the explosion. The rainbow explosion. As vision returned, the students were greeted with the sight of a massive double rainbow where the Santa Scout had once stood. It was so intense.

So intense that everyone in the area has been Tye-dyed with rainbow colours. Everyone now looks like a bunch of hippies.

So intense that Sammy, at ground zero, was literally blinded for the rest of the day. Well not so much blinded, but more like she could only see vague rainbow coloured shapes.

So intense that Riley dropped one of her pumpkins, which hit Mandy causing hers to be destroyed as well.

In the end, the students were able to save six of the pumpkins. But at what cost?

Jericho didn't descend until the explosion was seemingly done. It didn't hurt, but he soon noticed that the area was a lot more colorful now. The Red Dragon essentially became a true chromatic dragon.. in a sense. Once on the ground again, he gently set down the pumpkins before giving a rather displeased look at the new color of his scales.

"This isn't right..."

Up untill the very end Sammy continued to hammer away at the hatch, her fist bouncing harmlessly, Maladores wing blade doing no better in her left fist. Suddenly it was glowing all around her bright, painfully bright vivid colors among the white snow blinding her before it finally happened.

What should have been fire and shrapnel was instead light and color. Instantly she was thrown from the remains of the robot, which quickly vanished into a cloud of seemingly double rainbow power. Her now tye-dyed body bouncing and rolling as she hit the ground howling in agony as she clawed at her eyes.

Eventually she would get up, stumbling back towards the pumpkin patch, she couldn't see the double rainbow, she couldn't see anything really. Everything was neon and bright blobs.

"D-dammit..." She almost whimpered. She would rather be dead right now reforming then dealing with this nightmare. Slowly she stumbled closer dropping to her knees in the white florescent blue and pink snow. "I-Is everyone okay?"

Malodore held up its rainbow-dripping arms. Everything was rainbows. Its lenses were coated in the rainbow goop, lending the entire world a rainbow tint. Rainbow rainbow rainbow. Ew.

"Well... we saved some pumpkins," it said, finally, after taking in the damage. (Or what it assumed was the damage; everything looked rainbow anyway, but the students looked extra rainbowy.) "Is anyone injured in any way other than their pride or dignity?"

After the not-candy machine's explosion, Shine just kind of...stood there.



The pumpkin that she'd been holding was at her feet, mostly undamaged. She didn't appear to be injured, but also didn't appear to know what in Halloween was going on.

Without a word, she slowly began to wander off, an unchanging dazed expression plastered on her face.

Jericho was very unhappy with his little makeover here. Lifting up a clawed hand, he stared at it with disbelief as his scales were all sorts of colors now. The only time he would want to have more colors was if he had multiple heads like Tiamat. That was not the case at all, though.

Then, hearing a thud and Riley saying ow, he turned to see that a box had hit her in the head.

"What the Jack?" he asked while looking at the box. He thought of trying to open it, but it was a little small for his claws to handle. And right now, he didn't want to shift back just yet. He was.. a little afraid of how he'd look in his humanoid state.

"Riley, are you ok?"
