"Yeah... I guess it is..." She answered quietly. It was true that in the military she was a mechanic but it hadn't been what she wanted. Tania was just going to have to deal with it though. You didn't always get everything in life. Looking at her glass she quickly finished the rest before handing it to him. "Yes." As she would wait for him to return she played with her thumbs a bit nervously. She was feeling a bit odd. The alcohol was probably getting to her. Maybe drinking another glass wouldn't be wise but she wanted another drink after thinking about not having enter as a pilot.

there was enough space in the door way for her to peek through into Seren's room. She could see from this vantage point that her room mate was talking over her computer to Rika, she assumed that because that was the voice she was hearing. Fortunately, she was unable to get a clear view of the computer screen.
Elise frowned slightly. What the hell was this? Why were Seren's and Rika on such good terms enough to call each other like this?
Before Elise could figure it out, the door flew open and Seren's barrelled out and nearly fell into Elise. Elise's eyes widened breifly in surprise as she managed to just barely move fast enough to straighten her posture and take a half-step back from the door. "H-Hey! Elise stammered, having been surprised by the suddenness of the actions, as she glared a little at her room mate to cover up the surprise she felt.

Not expecting Elise, Seren threw a hand out to the door frame to steady herself just before she stumbled to the floor, "ah, sorry, 'scuse me" she said giving Elise as wide a space as she possibly could, watching her before rushing to the couch where some of her papers had been, and were now soaked by the sprinkler system.
A sharp whining groan came from the couch as She picked up the notes she needed, finding them soggy and practically falling apart, "no way! I'm gonna fail now!" she cried and salvaged what she could to rush to the bathroom and use the hairdryer to try and save what she could read in order to rewrite her notes.

Rika couldn't see what was going on with Seren, as she had moved out of the camera's range. So Rika was stuck staring at an empty chair and could just barely catch sight of someone standing in thee door frame, it was only their hand however, so she couldn't even tell who it was. "Always spazzing about something or other..." Sighing lightly, Rika sat back in her office chair, running a hand through her still wet hair and wondering whether she had contacted Seren at a bad time. Fixing her towel from sliding down her frame again, Rika waited patiently for Seren or at least someone to come back and tell her what was happening. If no one came back in five minutes, Rika would hang up, severely annoyed. "It's not nice to just up and leave the person you're talking to Seren!" Rika commented a minute or so later while drumming her fingers on her desk lightly.

As he refilled the glasses Tai couldn't help but start thinking strategy to himself. Okay I need a strategy here... either an entrance or an exit strategy... probably both. I mean it's not to late to just have her go home right? Forgot this ever happened, and just go our separate ways? Man... what am I thinking? What? are you just going to give up Tai? C'mon think of something! he yelled at himself. Wait... Okay so I'm pilot, she's training to be a mechanic. he thought to himself as he started to walk over to Tania with the drinks. What do we both have in common? Mobile Suits? He was almost back to Tania now. We both must like mobile suits?! "Hey Tania, do you like..." It was most likely the alcohol but what ever the reason, Tai tripped at this point. Had he not been drunk he probably would have recovered flawlessly but instead he only managed to recover Tania's. His own drink spilled over his shirt. "mobile suits?" he finished. That's right, I am not a quitter. he told himself as he handed Tania her drink.

This situation was quite awkward. Hell, she was in some guys house she had just met not too long ago, on top of it all he was a superior. Fiddling a bit nervously with her thumbs on her lap she waited in silence for him to return. She was completely out of her element. Tania didn't really know what to do with the situation. It didn't help that it was hard figuring out what he wanted. Maybe he too didn't know what that was. A nervous drop of sweat ran down the back of her neck. The alcohol was helping with loosening the tension which was good. Her nerves were slowly dissipating. Hearing him make his way back Tania quickly stopped the movement with her thumbs. She didn't want to make it apparent that she had/was nervous. When he spoke she looked at him ready to take her drink when something unexpected happened. He tripped. Before she could do anything he had already quite clumsily recovered himself. Her drink didn't suffer but his was all over his shirt. Tania tried hard to keep herself in control but, she had failed miserably. She let out a couple chuckles. She couldn't help it. It had been one hell of a scene and the tension had been so awkward and nervous just a few moments ago this was like some sort of comic relief. Taking her drink from him she took a sip. "Sorry for laughing... couldn't help myself..." She chuckled again as she let the alcohol start effecting her again as she added more into her blood stream. If she wasn't careful she was bound to get completely wasted which she usually avoided quite successfully. "Yeah... I like mobile suits... They are interesting pieces of machinery." She frowned slightly as she took a few more sips from her drink, which turned into her actually drinking the rest of it. They had been pretty big sips. I wanted to pilot them not fix them.. It was a fact she was probably not ever going to get over. Sure she was good at mechanics but she loved piloting things more then fixing them.

As Seren shoved her way past her, Elise scowled. She watched her room mate try to 'resuscitate' her drowned notes for a moment or two before glancing over her shoulder into the bedroom. She had heard the voice of Rika again after all, more clearly this time since the door was now open to her. When she saw her superior officer and instructor on the computer screen, in only a towel (since it appeared that Rika had only just gotten out of the shower. Elise frowned, her eyes narrowing. Not really caring if she got caught by Seren... well, Seren was busy collecting her notes anyway... Elise entered the room and stood a few feet back from her room mate's computer. She folded her arms across her chest and stared down at Rika's face over the webcam. "Isn't it a bit LATE to be calling a STUDENT over video feed, MA'AM? Especially being dressed... or rather: UNDER-DRESSED as you are now?" Elise asked flatly, emphasizing a few of the words in her question to show her distaste with Rika's impromptu phone call to Seren.

Rika narrowed her eyes at Seren's roommate, as she essentially called her out on her calling Seren so late at night. "As far as you're concerned CADET, it's none of your business what my reasons for calling a student." Rika crossed her arms and glared at the cadet on the other side of the video call. "Perhaps I wanted to talk to Seren about her many many absences from our training class? And am I not entitled to be comfortable when I'm not on duty? And all that aside, if it was any problem, Seren wouldn't have answered, now would she?" Rika drummed her fingers on the desk in front of her, wondering what gave this cadet the nerve to tell her what she could and could not do. She had half a mind to abuse her power as her instructor to do a great many horrible things to her to ensure she wasn't going to be walking let alone piloting a mobile suit.

Elise picked up on the fact that Rika wasn't too happy about the tone that Elise had used. At least it seemed that her instructor wasn't completely dense. For that, that was about as far as Elise had respect for Rika at this point. But absences? Really? that was a poor excuse. Seren wasn't even in the pilot program. "Oh really? Then it can wait until tomorrow. But if it can't, at least call back when you're fully clothed." Elise replied before pulling the plug on the webcam. effectively hanging up on Rika. Once that was done, Elise left Seren's room and headed for her own.

Rika balled her fist and growled quietly. Elise had just disconnected her. She would pay the girl back for that, even if it meant her having an unfortunate training accident while using live fire. Rika opened the drawer finding a small orange bottle of pills and taking two of them. Rika's muscles tensed for a moment but then she relaxed almost completely, nearly sliding out of her chair and onto the floor. She only took those pills in case of emergency, meaning if she was about to go out and murder someone. She made a mental note to keep them on her the next time she saw that cadet. Rika typed in a message to Seren's computer, saying "I need to talk to you about class tomorrow Seren. Come to my office after your classes end." Rika sent the message and sighed lightly, shakily getting to her feet, she made her way to her bedroom; the pills she took kicked like a horse, she was in no shape to stay up any later. She left her towel on the floor and slid into bed, falling asleep in 4.2 seconds of her head hitting her pillow.

As Tania laughed Tai couldn't help but laugh as well. "I can pilot a giant robot through a debris ridden battle field but I can't carry some drinks to a pretty woman." It might have been the sake but he could swear that she mentioned mobile suits there was something bothering her. "You know... I just might be able to let you ride with me sometime." he offered. "Before you give me an answer let me change my shirt. This thing is irritating the crap out of me right now." He then started walking toward his bedroom as pulled off his jacket. Tai didn't bother to close his door as he tossed the jacket onto the bed. He slipped off his dress shirt to reveal a very smooth but muscular body. He wasn't a body builder but you tell that Tai was strong. He then pulled out a random t-shirt from his closet and slipped it on. "Sorry about that, but I just had to do it." he said as left his bedroom.

Seren, remembered Rika's conversation mere moments after she started drying her notes, Frantic she shut off the dryer and jumped to head back to her room finding Elise just as she unplugged her web cam, "Elise!? what are you doing in my room?" she stood back slightly pretty sure other dorm mates were not allowed in each others rooms, if not it was usually unspoken courtesy, "what happened? why are you in my stuff!" her complaints seemed to fall on deaf ears as Elise left, Seren moved to check her notes to make sure nothing was missing, reading Rika's message and sighing as she calmed down slightly, a little worried about her private space now, should she talk about it with Elise? maybe not, she was still settling in to living with other people too, Seren did not need to make her grumpy or unsettled by bringing up something trivial. Finding Rika offline she made a mental note to see her after class, and went back to salvaging what she could of her notes just as a mew came from under her chair "so he lives" she smiled and gave Mic a quick stroke before going back into the bathroom.

Tania chuckled at his joke only to end up blushing at the end. Her face going from its normal shade to a bright pink. Usually she was able to contain her blushes or at least make them less noticeable but with the sake, well, it wasn't that easy. At the mention of the free ride her eyes widened a bit in both shock and surprise. Had he just offered her a ride? That was just awesome! When he went to change is shirt Tania would just wait for him to return which didn't take to long. "Its fine, I would have done the same. As for your offer.... I'd really enjoy that..." Her face flushed for a brief second again as she agreed to his offer. Hell, there was no way she was going to deny it. Well... it wasn't the first time a pilot had offered her a ride... but the other ones who had always had something they wanted her to give them in return which was the only reason to why she had refused their offers. Tai however made no mention of such a thing, plus she was at the drunk point where she wasn't exactly thinking before speaking.

Tai blinked for a moment as he thought he saw something change in Tania's face for the third time that night. Was it a smile... no. What was it? He knew that he should know what it was but he couldn't find the right word. What ever it was he felt like it meant that he had done well. How ever the question had yet again returned to "what now". He knew that she liked mobile suits but there was fine line between talking about the like of them and talking shop. Along with that thought she seemed like she was enjoying herself to so he definitely didn't want to wreck that. He nervously scratched his head and his eyes caught his watch face, What!? it's that late all ready? OH man... I have to get up in six hours. Time had really slipped away and evening had become late night with early morning soon approaching. "Hey ah Tania it's really late and well the area is pretty safe but it'd probably just be better if you sleep here tonight." he said. "It's my fault that you're out so late so if you want to stay you can take my bed. I'll just sleep on the couch."

As her mind wondered about what it would be like inside Tai's Mobile Suit she yawned softly. When she did so she put a hand in front of her mouth. Tania hadn't noticed until now that she was getting tired. It must have been really late. Now that she thought about it she didn't know what the time was. Her question was quickly answered by Tai himself who had also realized the time. Hearing his proposal she blinked. It wasn't that bad of an idea really. Tania didn't quite know the area very well so being in it alone at night probably wasn't the best of ideas, there was a chance she would get lost or worse. "Mmm, sounds like a good idea. It's not necessary for me to take your bed though, I think I'll sleep fine on the couch." Tania wasn't that picky when it came to where she had to sleep. She could sleep basically anywhere really. However if Tai insisted then she would take his bed, if not then she'd stay on the couch.
