Sauvie This thread leads me to believe that not shaving (See: Me) is far from the norm, though admittedly this thread has given me some advice given the time arrives. as to adry's question of which I can only assume you mean the pubic hair above the v****a, I don't really have any preference, sure I have seen some different examples but honestly anything trimmed would seem best in my opinion. I will admit that I don't know many girls who leave it natural, but that doesn't make it wrong or mean there's anything wrong with it. smile In the end it's all just personal preference. Could just be there's lots of girls here who prefer to shave or trim. @ x.Fuct Up - I don't know of any razors specifically for that. I have a hard time shaving there sometimes too, and have cut myself more than once. Sorry I can't be of help. sweatdrop

Just looking through the thread any of the males who have posted the majority seems to have shaven as well but there is no big deal to not.

I actually have never dated a guy who has kept himself shaved. sweatdrop My very first boyfriend tried shaving once for me, as has my current boyfriend, but neither did it on a permanent basis.

From my personal experiences with boyfriends and male friends, not really. In fact from what I've heard, if a guy starts shaving he'll have to do it frequently because otherwise it'll itch like a b***h when the hair starts growing back in... unless you do it often, in which case the hair apparently grows back in softer and irritates less.

=Passion Obsession= Hi ya'll (Hasnt been here in awhile.) I try to trim and shave mine to be neat, but I ALWAYS het razor burn and its never totally smooth. What should I do? I might be going to walmart later today and buy some 'Nads' Does that stuff work well on Bikini lines(Ot: and upper lip hair?) ? Any advice is helpful. smile None of that hair dissolving or hair waxing stuff ever worked for me. The waxing was just a mess since it was so sticky. Ew. Buy a razor with 5 blades and use shaving cream to minimize razor burn + cuts. Try not to use a razor that is dull. Make sure that you let you skin soak in the shower for a few minutes before you begin shaving. Take it slow and do not go over the same area too many times. If necessary, finish it the next day.

I've tried shaving several times before, but I've noticed that when it grows back it spreds more towards my legs, is there anything I can do about it or a reason it does this?

My question is how are you supposed to deal with it if your hair goes way past your scrotum. >.< And the underside of your p***s having hair is normal. If worst comes to worst you should stimulate yourself down there. It makes it easier to work with and makes it easier to stretch the skin taught with your free hand. The most I do for my area is trim it at the moment since I have unnaturally long hair it seems. But I wonder if I should shave my sac. Just how likely are ladies to give that special attention to my buddies if I don't? >>;
Also, does shaving cream really help. I usually keep my lower half submerged in the tub if I try to shave and it seems to work fine.

I usually keep my lower half submerged in the tub if I try to shave and it seems to work fine. As a woman, I won't shave anywhere unless I have at least soap on the hair before I shave. I prefer shaving cream, but soap works too. I cannot go without anything - it's not smooth enough and I either cut myself or give myself razorburn. sweatdrop As a guy, I think having a hairy scrotum is fine. My boyfriend doesn't shave his, and I may lick or suck his balls, but briefly. I think not having hair there might cut back on smell, but it's not a big deal. Depends on what kind of special attention you want. blaugh

I shaved everything down there yesterday for the first time in awhile, just for me. I don't really like it, it's kind of weird. I tried to do the landing strip sort of thing but it was too hard to get the line right. I think I will grow my hair out again and just continue shaving the bikini line for now. sigh.

Nikolita Sauvie Nikolita I actually have never dated a guy who has kept himself shaved. sweatdrop My very first boyfriend tried shaving once for me, as has my current boyfriend, but neither did it on a permanent basis. huh... so I am assuming that for a guy it isnt such a big deal then? I know this is an old post, and I haven't posted anything here in a while but, this is not true for all men. Most of the time if it itches they are doing it wrong! (They are not using the right soap, shaving cream, and or not using the right tools) (Edit: Of course I forgot to mention that everyone is different, my apologies.) I know this because I keep myself groomed down there. Does it take getting use to, yes. After while though it shouldn't be itching at all though if you are doing it right. I myself use a electric shaver, that is able to switch the types of heads/blades it uses. Although I have to say you still need to be careful since you can nick yourself down there, I have a few times but it is only a quick sharp pain and then it goes away. Before I got this great device I used a comb and scissors. I comb the hair that I watched to groom/cut into the teeth of the comb, using the comb as a shield/barrier to cover the soft skin around p***s/balls/whatever and then start cutting the hair. The electric shaver that I use is the Philips NORELCO all in 1 grooming system, it is very handy with shaving any kind of body hair due to its switchable heads.
