Amelie's face quickly fell to a frown. Then it seemed to look more sad than angry as Amelie recalled a couple of memories. Then, as quick as the moment had come, it went away, as she snatched the sword off her, stuffing it back in her coat. "...Yeah." She paused for effect. "Alright, so you get the basic jist of it. Now, go test it out on those shiny things..." Amelie couldn't help but look away as she said it.Now that she thought of it, She was only glad Veria wasn't using her weird snakes on Amelie, instead of Ryuk.

*Veria nodded and went into the store without hesitation although she took her time. If ameile watch fromt eh window as the caos was going on, which didn't even seem to effect nor was it noticable to her, she walked up to things and started takeing them. Moments later she came out all frwod and held up a strand of chrismas lights, "Momma these aren't shiny." She looked at it with a sad expression, she didn't know what a light bulb was, but she new that when it was lit up she liked the colors it gave off.*

Amelie let out a small chuckle, as she held the other end of the Christmas lights. She then crouched down next to her and chuckled a little more. "No Hun, these aren't shiny. They aren't supposed to be. They're lights. When it's dark people use these to see. Although in this case they are used to light up a tree, for Christmas. It's some weird tradition humans came up with to waste all their money and time on pointless wrapped gifts and food. I don't see much point in it but they obviously do." Just then as Amelie had been explaining, she had an idea on how to get back. Although being that it would probably be very difficult, it was her only idea, so she had to try it. She then looked back to Veria with a small grin.

*Veria looked disapointedly at the lights in her hands for a few second then tossed them aside and looked up her momma excidently* "So now what momma?! We find more shiny?" She looked around and noticed a decoration for chrimas, all lit up in somones yard. SHe ran over to it and poked at it in confussion. SHe then hugged it, "MY SHINY!" But she soon grew tired of that and wondered further down the street set for something else, needless to say this little three about to become four year old was on the loose, and everyone was in danger XD*

Amelie rolled her eyes as she watched Veria wander down the street. Then, in a sigh of agitation, she followed after her. As she finally caught up to her, she grabbed her and lifted her up to sit on Amelie's hip. "Stop running off." Even though she seemed angry she really wasn't, as there was laughter in her voice. "Now, i have something we need to do. We need to find someone smart, like really smart. So they can help us with something." She looked to her a little seriously. "You see, we aren't supposed to be here, we need to go back where we came from, so this person needs to help us with it." But then she smirked. "And i guarantee it will be fun when we get back. There is a really good game there. I assure you, you won't be bored." She knew Veria wouldn't offer up any suggestions, but she felt she needed to tell her at least a little of why she needed to find someone.

*Veria looked to her confused* "Not suppost to be where? Where is here? Their other places other then this place?" He eye swelled up when she heard really good game. She wanted to play, "oh oh oh okay so we find person then we play game." SHe smiled evily, "Then we eat." Her little stonached growled, as she looked to amelei witha blank face. She then held on to her momma for a while, as the two would venture she stuck close to Ameile like told, she didn't run off anywhere. However where would Ameile expect to find smart people here, where would she look first. It would have to be some with that would know the subject in perticullar...*

Amelie sniggered as she began to walk to a seemingly planned destination. "There are lots of places other than here. We aren't from around here though. And i feel out of place. Right now, we are in a place which was made up by me, and i came here using a small toy looking item, when you were still in my belly." She looked ahead, to make sure she knew where she was going. "And where we truly belong is not here. It's in another world." She tried to put it as blunt as possible, and yet it still seemed complicated. Soon they came upon the nearest school... or college. Or whatever it was. She cocked her head at it. "Hmm. This might be alright, i guess." She then put Veria down, and walked into the building, trying to look as serious as possible, although it was hard, knowing she would have to intimidate someone to get information, which was funny to her, since it was generally very easy. She then came upon an office, just what she was looking for. It read 'Meteorology and Psychology'. She walked straight in, to see if it was occupied.

*The collage was empty however there were three classrooms within this area. Each contained a desk from the professer. But one in perticullar veria was messing around with as her momma looked around and she found notes on a time rift idea. This desk belonged to a mid aged professor, however his class was small by his notes ameile could notice this guy was way too far into his theirys. However he was at home at the moment. If Ameile checked the records however she would find the mans house. He lived alone, in a small yellow house, never been married, has been teacher for over thirty years. Current age was 40, had no relitives known within the area. A perfict idot in which Ameile could get information from. However she would have to go to his home in town. Surly enough as they moved through the town however Veria kept quite walking next to her momma. Her green hair made a few people wonder as they passed, although others gave her other looks. These peopel weren't tarrifyed, it bothered her as she walked watching the places and people they passed.*

amelie looked down to her as they walked. "Don't worry about them. They're just jealous." Amelie's empty reassurance was vague, and she didn't expect it to comfort her at all, knowing how much like her she was. When they soon reached his house Amelie sighed. It was a pain trying to find him, she hoped he wouldn't be a pain himself. She came up to the scruffy looking house and knocked on the door politely, as any normal person would. She then crouched down to Veria's level. "Alright, act natural until i get serious, then you can use your snakes to torture him all you like if he refuses to give us any info. Alright?" She grinned as she looked to her. It was like having her own personal side-kick.

*Veria rubbed her hands together with a evil grin* "Yay i hope i get to play a game with him then... heehee." She hoped he would have to be torchered, it was more fun when things were distructive. However when the man opened the door he looked to Ameile, "Hello madem, can i help you?" He was tall, skinny, had little hair, and wore black glasses/

Amelie smiled as she stood up again, looking to the man. "Hey, you're the professor right? I was hoping you could help us with something. We really need it." She looked pleadingly to him. At first of course she would ask him properly, she wouldn't jump to the intimidating and the torture. Only if he refused to help them though.

*The man nodded and stepped out* "Sure, what can i do for you? You looking into joining the sessions? or Perhaps your interested in my feild of expertese." Veria shook her head and handed him his notes ont he time rift. He looked at them now puzzled, "Oh... you found these... how are you?"

Amelie's eyes a thinned a little. "We were wondering if you could help us with a... personal matter. But i need to know how much you know, about travelling through time spans." She eyed him up carefully. Wondering what he would think to her request. Although she wasn't worried, she knew what she had to do if he refused.

*He looked to her with a few thoughts but a serouse face, "The govenment shut down my projects, but i know enough. What are you wanting to do?" He asked staring straight at her, meanwhile the excitement was secritely building up inside him. He had a reasion to follow through he research, someone needed his expertease. In the meantime veria let a small unnoticed snake slither into his house, standing there as if innocent.*
