Even with his rider's encouragement, Jacith was beginning to fade. He was running out of energy and tiring quickly. Too quickly. He did make a feeble attempt to catch her as she passed.
She was beckoning them. Encouraging them. She wanted the best. Jacith was the best! He was the best! Forgetting how very tired he was, he pushed himself forward with a mighty wing thrust. He would show her. He would show those bronzes.

The brown turned aside slightly as he got tail across the nose. He trilled enticingly to Feynath. She was everything he desired. Sermianth curved then did a turn and flip to reorientate himself back toward the gold. The boys were getting a good run for their gold. He did his best to keep going, but he fell behind a couple of other males. The brown roared so Feynath wouldn't forget him, and the bronzes knew he was there.
When she came back through the ranks, Sermianth trumpeted for her and let his wing brush against hers. He snarled at any bronze that got too close.
M'ale circled around Eilyn, hoping to catch her eye just as his brown was flirting with Feynath. Sermianth was a good brown and she could absolutely do worse. Her laugh heightened his desire and he reached a hand toward her. Not quite daring to touch her just yet. Giving her the chance to touch him.

Calanoth followed the sweep of males trying to find a space to move ahead. As they switched directions he flipped, using the back of another dragon as a launching pad to shoot towards Feynath. He managed to rub his neck across hers before she got away from him. So Close! He warbled after her, still in the chase. A moan escaped Z'fer's throat as Calanoth lost his chance. Eirlyn's own voice teased his ears. She was so close...he could just grab her now...But that wasn't how things were done. One breach in decorum was enough for now. She would remember him though. An idle thought wondered if she liked it as rough as he did...

Frith dived quickly as the queen flew into their ranks, flipping up and chasing after her. It was the easiest way to avoid hitting any of the other dragons doing the same, and he flapped his wings to regain, and continue his chase. It was exciting now.

When the Queen abruptly changed directions, it was certainly a surprise, but not an unwelcome one - not for the agile Nachith, who flip-turned in the air and renewed pursuit with a trumpeting call (and who really hoped Feynath had happened to see such a smooth move!).

She judged even their reactions to her nearness, finding candidates she liked the most among the bronzes and turned her attention away from the browns at last. Good Flight for them... but as she crooned at three in particular, she swept away, and seemed to slow in the air, arcing up high as she bugled.
The gold seemed to hang effortlessly in the air, encouraging Keilmanth and Hedereth and Shoth forward. However, Bronze Shoth would not take not for an answer and he streaked by the three, gaining the lead as he poured the last of his energy to this drive.
Catching up to the gold he grappled with her and surprisingly, she did not refuse him. If the other boys had not been fast enough... she would be his prize. Together they bugled and called they twined together and the flush of lust at last sated raced through their riders, leaving the rest physically and emotionally frustrated.
Shoth's rider, R'hix, was now the Weyrleader and he walked forward with an infinitely pleased grin to wrap himself around the Weyrwoman and kiss her deeply, a gesture she returned out of need rather then logical want and he guided her towards the awaiting room, which a drudge politely closed before their privacy was compromised.
As the group of dragons dispersed, flights of green rose into the air, their own eyes whirling purple as they tried to beckon the losing bronzes and browns. The women had also gathered at the door and more then a few were swept away by lusty men and searching mouths. The Queen flight always inspired a day of lust and passion as the ripples Feynath's lust spread throughout.
One could only pray it was a healthy, large clutch.

"NOOO!" Vulith roared, his eyes blazed red as the bronze Shoth grabbed her and she didn't pull away. No.... that was meant to be him there, entwining her.... he slashed at a nearby dragon, not caring what the color was, before turning to vent his lust on a green. He didn't have to chase one far before his needs were settled.
Below things weren't so cordial, K'tor angry and frustrated by his lost chance, barrelled through men, shouldering and shoving them aside as he tried to get away from the sight of R'hix leading Eirlyn into the private chamber. His eyes, had they been dragons, would be flashing orange/red with only a slight shade of purple. His temper was instantly soothed when a particularly daring woman grabbed at him and forced him to spin round. His lips met hers roughly and he picked her up, retiring into a vacant room.
