Lots of Death Hunters. But hey, some Moon Hunters too. And Sun. Going around the room. 50% sounded about right, with Caelius heading things and grouping all the trainees together in a gaggle like this. Head down, stay out of trouble, come out of this alive. That's all Harrison wanted to do.
And maybe he was a little curious about what an actual Mission that wasn't spying-on-highschoolers-death-division-stuff looked like. An actual mission on good old Earth. Maybe even helping some people, although in the middle of the desert he didn't think that was likely.
"Harrison Hughes. Moon," he said.

Jerry shifted where he sat quietly on his own, feeling a little gloomy he had arrived late and the lack of acceptable seating, but no matter. Bright side of things. And teaming up with newbies? A bit of cleanup sounded like a fun sort of activity, at least. Sure, there was the warning about survival rates, but that seemed to be a constant thing for anything they did, really. He had survived (somehow) taking a dragon-monster-thing's fiery blast straight out, hadn't he?
And to be paired with a newbie! Well, for the MOST part they seemed like a lovely bunch! He shifted around, spotting an unfamiliar head sporting a Sun Hunter robe. It was always fun to meet new friends!
And hopefully they wouldn't be holding any grudges.

Otto's gaze fell on Gale, brows furrowing at that smirk the other hunter gave him. Is he staring at me?<so popular~!>>Otto settled to narrow his gaze right back at Gale. Mentally projecting a message like: Look who's stuck with me, sucker!

This time Gale really did grin, still sitting with his head resting against his hand, his arm on the table.
Welcome to the Death Hunters, Otto Graves.
<< Oh, this'll be fun. >> murmured Jinhai dryly, with a tone of voice that suggested he was rolling his eyes - or would have been if he had them.
Gale did, of course, notice Before attempting to sneak into the room.

She was distinctly late, but there was nothing that could be done about it.
The door opened without much of a distinct indication that someone was entering, swinging forward slowly and in near-silence to reveal the dark haired moon hunter in training standing in the doorway. Petra Walker looked as she always did -- midnight blue eyes swept the room with the slightest of interest, cool and detached as she gathered a general knowledge of the area. Her expression was blank, for the most part, the slightest recognition sparking a softer look as she noticed a few of Phoenix sitting at the table. Her voice, too, would have been not much more than a monotone, had she any opportunity to speak, something she dared not do. As a general rule, it was typically a bad idea to speak up around Caelius other than to reply with a 'yes sir' and a brisk sprint in the general direction of away, if not towards whatever he had assigned you to. It was primarily for this reason that she said nothing, careful to be as silent as humanly possible, even her breathing stifled to a slow, even in-and-exhale.
Then again, it helped that she was, in general, a mostly withdrawn person. Phoenix notwithstanding.
Petra paused half a second in the doorway before she began automatically moving around the table to where her group sat, making sure that her shoes made as little noise as possible on the crisp white tile. Bandages wrapped the better part of her left arm and leg, as well as her right thigh, but they did not seem to hinder her as she moved to cross the room, making only the slightest rustling sound of fabric against fabric where her coat and skirt brushed against them. Resting a hand on Jerry's shoulder briefly, she made sure to give him a look that might have been cryptic to anyone unfamiliar with her, letting him know she was glad to see he was alright before she sat down near Jordan, focusing on Caelius. Clearly, this was some sort of mission briefing -- it seemed to be the only time Caelius ever spoke to them -- and she was sure Jordan would catch her up later.

"Minerva Di Paola of the Death division..." She said aloud, standing for a moment before finding her place in a seat once more. Minnie was following along with the conversations as best she could, but with Blythe constantly whispering distaste for this individual or that due to proximity or a passing glance that landed on Minnie from time to time--it was getting to be quite the chore.
COULD YOU PLEASE. Minnie thought loudly, trying her best not to get too frustrated.
Blythe became silent instantly, but her feelings still remained as ever-present as her voice.

In as inconspicuous a manner as possible for Before, he found himself a seat and pretended he'd been there the whole time. Oh sure he caught just enough of what Caelius had said and made the appropriate expression of one who'd been through some of the Death Hunter's missions. It was a cross between "Oh God, oh God, I'm going to die" and "FML." Seems like Before knew which 50% he belonged to...

Ryan watched as the others introduced themselves. Among them the majority seemed to be death hunters, he noted. Perhaps this was a popular division?
"Looks like you've got a lot of teammates to look forward to meeting later." He elbowed Wilson lightly. He himself, was quite pleased to the see there were moon hunters present. A little less in number than the death hunters, maybe, but better than none at all.
"I wonder what they're all like..." He wondered aloud, watching all the others. Maybe these 'strays' would be able to tell them a little more about this place and share their experiences with them? Anything to help them to learn more quickly was a welcome thought.
:That's if you even survive this mission, remember.:
Yes, I haven't forgotten and don't forget you'll be there too. Your at just as much risk as I am. He reminded the weapon and was rewarded with a snort like sound.
:Hah! Gonna' miss me then if it happens?:
Pfft! You wish!

Dakota couldn't help but notice, as most of the members already knew that the room was greatly dominated by the Death Division. Not that he had a problem with it after all, seeing as their leader seemed like he'd be one tough cookie.
His eye's slid over to the Sun huntress and then to the Moon one next to her. She had shot him a small wave hadn't she? He sent one back, pleased to know that a pretty girl was in his division.
He was even more pleased when he found that there we're two more guys, one being the boy sitting next to him. Huh, so his name was Ryan eh? Leaning over to the other boy.
"Hey! Sorry about earlier, didn't mean to make you the middle man." He spoke as quietly as he could before holding his hand out, "It's nice to know that I've got a capable looking guy in my team."
Chama heated on his leg. Dakota leaned back in his seat before shrugging, sending the thought's to his weapon alone.
It's better to get along with your team members Chama, I'd rather have them help me then hate me and get me killed...You know?
Her voice was snip and distant. Dakota shrugged again, his weapon was after all, very deeply rooted into him already and liked to play favortism, not that he didn't mind. She reminded him of those GPS sexy car voices, you either really enjoyed them, or you shut the off.
He was worried though about the 50% survival and the fact that a lot of the Trainee's we're worried as well.
Yeah.

Fiver had, for once, not been talking his head off during this little meeting - but not for lack of trying. Everyone else had just managed to ask the questions he might have asked before he got a chance to. So up until this point, he'd been just sort of waiting for something to happen - for them to leave or whatever. But when Caelius told them to give their names and divisions, he stuck his hand into the air for a moment and joined in.
"Tedan Galloway here, Sun Division. Ready whenever," he reported. From how this guy was talking, it didn't seem like a dangerous mission. Just some scouting, right? So ... at this point, he wasn't worried.

Ariane had always been there. Any attempts to tell her otherwise would be met with a shrug, an eye roll, a punch to the shoulder or all of the above.
She might also have a slight crush on their really old Death instructor due to his bad assery. Maybe.

Sherry had made it into the room during the leader's last speech. Caelius, right? That was the name she'd been told when an older Death Hunter had informed her of the meeting. Too bad she'd been just a tiny bit late. She'd crept in as he was saying something about an observation mission, and told the new kids to introduce themselves. She stood in the back, listening to the introductions and looking at all the faces. Some she knew from the pod room, some she didn't. She supposed the unfamiliar faces belonged to the older trainees. Sherry ignored Armagnac for the moment. It was possible she knew some of the others from her time in the test. It was impossible to tell, however. Sherry almost sighed. Armagnac had made it very clear she wanted to see some action. There is no guarantee we are going to fight anything, you know. "Sherry Greyson. Life Division," she said with a nod.

Tori had gotten up and dressed quickly when a unknown Death Hunter had banged on her door to get up. Not really wanting to be late but got really lost in trying to get to where she was suppose to be. As this place in her mind was more confusing of a place like any home she had lived in before. Aklin wasn't helping either with his almost constant questions. Once at the correct place she had heard the last end of there leaders speech and was just hoping to sneak in and just pretend that she had been here the whole time. She had gotten part the way in the room as others were introducing themselves as all of them were new to her as she had yet to formally meet any of them. Not now Aklin, I will answer that question later.
"Victoria Straka. Life Division, Sir," She said quickly and to the point and retreated to sit down where there wasn't too many people. Ever so nervous that she made a bad impression that she didn't want to create.

Before had taken note of the new faces and their factions and he tried very hard not to make a face. That's a lotta Death Hunters... he sighed to his partner.
Are you lonely, silly Before? How can you be when you have me?
N-no, it's not lonely-lonely just... kinda remembering what Clarice said about most Life Hunter trainees switching divisions when they get promoted. He tried to explain it better but then he heard Tori introduce herself. And her division. 8DDDDDDDDDDDD
"YAY LIFE!" he suddenly cheered, throwing his hands up in the air while he grinned from ear to ear. Before's outburst would have possibly drawn the attention of the others present. Other than Gale that is. This would be the part where he should be trying to regain his composure and dignity.
But this was Before. He doesn't do either 833333

Bix covered his mouth and pinched Before under the table. Even though he was holding back his own laughter, he wasn't sure that Caelius was amused by much of anything right now.
The albino hunter simply watched all the new recruits, letting his eyes settle just for an extended moment on the couple of sun hunters who introduced themselves. There were not many sun hunters around so it was good to take note.
He wondered idly if Caelius was matching them up according to any sort of criteria?
