Claire hugged her stuffed rabbit tightly so she didn't drop it when she was picked up. She curled up into Vince's chest with a small yawn. It was only a few seconds before she fell asleep. Nina looked up at Vince and his now-sleeping sister, smiling softly at them as she got to her feet quietly as to not wake Claire (not that much could actually wake her anyways. once she was asleep, she was out).

Vince shifted Claire in his arms so that she didn't fall when walking back before looking up at Nina. "If you want you can come back to our tent." he told her before turning around to walk back to the camp.

Nina nodded and followed Vince back to camp, staying close to his side. "Thanks. That would be nice..." Thankfully in the dim lighting, with the moon as their only source of light, her soft blush was hidden. Claire mumbled a bit in her sleep while hugging Mr. Fluffy-Feet tightly. Nina could only smile at the younger girl. "She's really cute when she's sleeping... Even if she can get into trouble by sneaking along on missions, no one can help but love her, even most enemies which is quite a surprise... Do you think she'll ever try and join the Shin-Ra Infantry or even SOLDIER one day?"

Vince shrugged, reaching his tent, walking in. Slowly he set Claire down in one of the beds, pulling a cover over her before looking back at Nina. "I hope not...this isn't the kind of work I want for her..."

Claire curled up in a ball once set down but remained in her deep sleep. Nina shrugged slightly and crossed her arms. "Well if she's anything like her brother, she'll turn out to be a great 1st Class."

Vince walked over to Nina's side, crossing his arms. "I hope she's not...I don't want her to lead the same life I have..."

Nina tilted her head curiously at him, raising an eyebrow. "What is it that you don't like about your life?... What don't you want Claire to have to go through?... Does it have to do with being a part of SOLDIER?..."

Nina watched him for a bit before sighing and lowering her gaze. "I understand..." She looked up just enough to look outside of the tent, spotting the moon. "She'll find her place soon enough... but life doesn't always turn out the way you want it to be..."

Nina stared out at the moon for a bit before finding her own bed and laying down on her back, staring up at the tent with her arms folded behind her head. "So... I heard about Angeal and Genesis..." she said quietly out of the blue, as if to change the subject. "We'll find them... I'm sure of it..."

Nina was quiet for a bit before turning onto her side, looking over at Vince for a bit. "Goodnight." With that, she closed her eyes and seemed to be asleep.

The next morning, Nina was up before dawn. She left the tent silently and had headed back to the lake for one last look before having to go back to Shin-Ra. Taking a small pebble, she skipped it across the water in thought, smiling to herself. Claire was still fast asleep.
