 Kayla pondered on this long and hard and she finally decided that it was better than feeling like a loser when she could have tried harder. So, she digged into her pockets and grabbed several berries.
"Here, Snookie. Let's see if we can stick it out as long as we can." Kayla gives Snookie 6x 
Kayla threw them at Snookie, who caught them in his mouth gladly.

Cetus coughed. The heat of the room dried even the saliva of her throat, making it a tad bit difficult to breathe. The whispered Thrashing Sea was now shriveling up to a puddle. But that little brink of water wasn't going to flee a fool. Sea green eyes glanced down to the Pikachu cradled like a newborn babe in her arms. She wasn't the Grunt's first Pokemon, but she certainly was the dearest. Cetus considered her options and chose to not push her.
"Mira." she whispered, than withdrew the Pokeball in one swift movement, watching the disheveled Pika be sucked into the sphere a bright, red noodle. "Get some rest. Sigh, alright Menkar, let's do this."
Cetus threw up the ball and the Tentacruel landed with a jelly-like splat to the floor. At the sight of Cetus, hearts filled his eyes and he reached all thousand of his tentacles to wrap her joyously in a hug. He was stopped mid-slither when she cranked up a foot to hold him at a distance.
"You're- Gosh, just Acid Spray that thing!"
The heat wafted him, but did not teeter his concentration. Menkar saluted and gushed a thick, gloopy mass of black at the Mothra impersonator. "Warble!" he cried afterward, looking for recognition from his trainer. She just simply rolled her false colored eyes.

By flapping its wings rapidly, the Volcarona managed to stop half the acid, but some of it still landed on the moth pokemon. Still, Volcarona handled the burning sensation in its body in stride. It did not slow down the steady beat of its wings at all and in fact increased their speed to unleash yet another torrent of hot air at the humans.

 Rasha neighed her defiance, even as the giant moth's attack pushed her back. Angry, but remembering Shina's instructions not to close with the moth, she unleashed another stinging swarm of stars. Rasha HP: 500/800

The stars were halted from their path by the strong gusts of wind that Volcarona was still steadily releasing. They didn't even make it within an inch of the giant monstrosity that continued to loom over the trainers. It was quite dutiful in its task to protect the hallway.
The winds once again picked up speed and gained a razor-like sharpness that would probably cause a bit of pain to any pokemon directly in front of it.

Once again, Snookie got slashed at the same intensity as before. He cried out in pain again and starting to dislike these adventures. Miss Kayla better give him a big treat when this is all over with!
"Come on, Snookie. I have that double chocolate rasberry fudge cake that you know I was saving for me but you can have it." Kayla tried to bribe Snookie to keep on going. Kayla had totally forgotten that the moth was part fire-type. They need a rock move! "Snookie, we need to hurt it badly. Give it a Smach Down!"
Snookie levitated a large chunk of the ground, creating a crater in the hallway and had it flung at the giant moth.

Volcarona backed up a bit - the first time it had moved the whole time - to avoid getting completely crushed by the large chunk of rock. However, bits of the rock did break off and fly off in Volcarona's general direction. The large moth endured - at least it hadn't been a direct hit.
And now, Snookie had given Volcarona the perfect ammo for its flying type attacks. If a wind storm in a hallway was bad, a windstorm with flying rocks would be even worse. Without further ado, Volcarona rained a hellish mixture of strong winds and debris at the trainers.

"Oh no!" Kayla cupped her hands to her mouth as Reis' pokemon fainted. "We need to get out of here!" Kayla looks around for the exit. "It's way to strong for us!"
Waving to Snookie to follow, Kayla dashed out the door. Knowing that her teammates will soon follow. Maybe they can get Ink-Eyes revived again when things are safe.

Reis watched in horror as Ink-Eyes was blasted back by the barrage of stone. She wanted the Moth, wanted to continue to behold it's excellence, but not for this. Nothing was worth the first friend she had made being continuously destroyed for her own selfish gain. Rushing to the downed Rattata, she picked Ink-Eyes up, stashing him in the pocket with the berries to keep him safe.
Tears streaming down her face, she rushed from the corridor, shielding the rattata from any further harm.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," she whispered continuously.

It seemed as though Reis' Rattata took the blunt of the Moth Pokemon's attack. When the poor Pokemon reached its last, Menkar began to suddenly cheer and wiggled its tentacles upright like seaweeds caught in a current.
"You idiot-! The Volcorona was suppose to faint, not the mouse!" Cetus blared as she she slapped the jellyfish hard on the back of the head.
Menky's eyes grew large and bulbous, rivaling even the greatest of shoujo moe goodness. He sniffled with his nonexistent nose and Cetus literally sweatdropped.
"C'mon don't-"
"War-"
"Don't . . . "
"Warbl-"
"Damn it."
"WARRRRBLE!"
The Tentacruel slithered out the kitchen and down the hallway in a quick motion, two rivers of tears mapping his course of flee.
"Argh, Menkar! Damn it, get back in your Pokeball!" Cetus shouted, chasing after him. This was obviously the last time she was returning to that kitchen again.

You hear loud noises behind you and notice that a pile of debris now blocks the path to the hallway. Well, looks like no one will be able to use the oven-tunnel again. Now the oven is completely nonfunctional
