James Ortiz James found it a little unsettling the way Leila completely ignored him. She was upset somehow, he could tell, when she took off running back to his gardens. Most likely the one she had wanted to take care of? It was hard for him to decide whether or not he should go follow her. Obviously she wanted to be alone. But curiosity and worry got the better of him, as well as Luscious, and they quickly headed towards the gardens, James grabbing his towel as he got up. When he stepped into the clearing he couldn't really see her anywhere. "Leila, are you alright? I just want to make sure you're okay. If you want me to leave now I will," he murmured softly.

LeilaAn aftereffect of her sudden transformation was that Leila was sapped of all her energy. She couldn't even muster enough to let James know where in the clearing she was. She didn't really need to worry about that, though. Luscious, having the perfect night vision that all cats have, padded straight up to Leila's huddled body and nipped at her ear. Leila groaned and tried to shift enough so she could push herself up, but she didn't get too far before slumping back to the ground.

James Ortiz James watched Luscious as he acted as a guide to where Leila was. It was cute, and he took a moment to smile before he became serious again. He cleared his throat and slowly stepped forward. "Alright, Leila, I hope you're decent enough," he joked trying to calm his nerves. He really wasn't sure what to expect to see when he was close enough to Leila, but he definitely didn't think he'd see her the way she was. He knelt down beside her and helped her to sit up by leaning her up against the trunk of the olive tree. "Well, I definitely would have never predicted this to happen..." He laid his towel over her to keep her covered.

LeilaLeila accepted the towel and held it around her shoulders like one of the blankets emergency workers give people at accidents scenes, although she was still clothed just as full as she'd been before the change. That was the one thing that never changed. Whatever she was wearing before always stayed the same, simply baggier on her smaller form. She barked out a humorless laugh. "I told you I could look different, didn't I?" she said, referring to his question earlier that day about whether she always looked like a boy.

James Ortiz James sighed as he looked up to the moon. "So, is it like a werewolf kind of symptom or something?" He didn't want to be teasing her, but it seemed a little like that anyway. He smiled and gently pet Luscious. "Yes, but I really didn't expect anything like this. Are you cold at all? Do you want me to bring you inside?" He pulled the blanket all the way around her and made sure she was alright.

LeilaLeila shivered, but not from the cold. It was more from shame than anything. She didn't even look at James when she answered his tease about werewolves. "Werewolves only change when the moon is out and full. I become this when the moon is full and when there is no moon, and I stay this way through the entire three days and nights of each." She shied away from his touch. She'd heard concern like that in her past masters' voices when they found out about her transformation, but it soon became something different with all of them. "I'm fine," she said gruffly. "I can walk on my own." She leaned against the olive tree for support as she stood, but she slid back down after a moment. Tears streaked her face as she began crying. The tough, controlled persona she had normally had completely disappeared. "L'Azazel! Ani shoneim zeh! Shoneim zeh! Kharah, kharah, kharah!" she sobbed.

James Ortiz James frowned and shook his head. He didn't really know what to do with her now that she was like this. She was excreting tons of emotions that he wasn't sure how to react to. All of them were negative and most of them seemed to have been his fault. His face was rigid and devoid of any emotion as he stood up. "Du bleibst hier, Luscious," he murmured as he turned around and headed back to the house. After about ten minutes he came back with a thick quilt and a pillow. He set it beside Leila and stepped away from her. "I'll be out here in the morning to give you breakfast, if you stay out here. If you're strong enough to get up during the night and you want to go inside you are welcome to go to your room and lock the door."

LeilaLeila nodded. "Thank you," she whispered. She knew that, by morning, she would be back to her normal strength. At least, physically she would.

James Ortiz James smiled softly as he bowed to her. "Goodnight, Madame, sleep well," he teased before heading back to the house. Luscious simply sat beside Leila and watched as he left. His head tilted slightly as he looked at Leila and let out a croaky mew. He was confused as to what was going on, but it didn't matter that much. He only seemed to be worried about Leila as he bit down on the quilt and dragged it over her lap. Then he crawled onto her lap and laid down.

LeilaLeila wiped the tears from her face and nodded to James as he left. Luscious's caring actions made her smile a bit. "Thank you, Mihaneh, she whispered, stroking the cub's sleek fur. Then she picked him up and moved him from her lap to the ground beside her. Placing the pillow James had given her on the olive tree's roots, she lay down and pulled the tiger demon cub closer to her.

James Ortiz James had stripped from his wet swimming trunks, which he hadn't been able to change out of since Leila had changed, and put on some boxers. He wasn't quite in the mood to go looking for his pajamas anyway. With a sigh he flopped onto his bed and fell asleep, not caring if he got cold during the night. Luscious, on the other hand, was getting extremely comfortable and warm with Leila cuddled up beside him. Little bursts of purring came from him before he fell asleep too.
The next morning James was up at 6 o'clock and got dressed. He went downstairs to prepare breakfast. He was making waffles, eggs, and sausages, though he wasn't completely sure if Leila would even like any of it.

LeilaLeila also woke early. It was habit after having so many masters. She picked up the still-sleeping Luscious and carried both him and the pillow and quilt into the house. She put them in her room and looked around for something that might fit her better than the clothes she was still wearing from the night before, but it was obvious that no women lived her before her. She shrugged and headed to the kitchen, where she found James already there. Unlike the day before, she lingered in the doorway, fidgeting.

James Ortiz James had heard as Leila came back inside, and followed her steps to her room. As he waited for her he began to set the table for them both. It was a little odd since he was used to only setting up for himself. The aroma of the food was beginning to fill the whole house, and so her scent was undetectable. He didn't know when she entered, but he had finished the food and was setting it on the table. He looked up at Leila and smiled. "Good morning. I hope you like breakfast."

LeilaLeila nodded slowly. She hadn't reverted to the attitude she'd had before the sun went down the night before. Instead, she seemed nervous. As if she might be hit if she did anything without being told to. Most of her past masters had liked this change of personality because it took away her watchdog attitude and made her "easy pickings" in some ways.

James Ortiz James sighed as he went to get a big cup of water and setting it in front of her plate. Then he allowed himself to sit down to eat. "I don't really know what has happened to you, but I promise I won't do anything bad while you are in this form." Yes, the form interested him, in more ways than one, but that was only normal. He wasn't a robot or anything. Mostly it was the ears and tail that had him interested. When he saw those other animal hybrids it usually did. He couldn't do that unless he was extremely pissed. "Just sit down and eat. And drink a lot of water. You never know how exhausting the change can be."
