When Yori had ran up to Lydia he immediately stood firm and started chanting, a beaded necklace around his hands. He stood there while Lydia distracted him, building up enough power to blow this thing away. When she had yelled his name he opened his eyes, almost angry looking and yelled out the last sentence of the chant. Yori took his staff twirling it around above his head as though they were propellers on a helicopter. When he had slashed his staff into the air he jumped and spun at the force of 'throwing' the blue flames that surrounded it and slowly crushed the spirit as it screeched in pain. "Amen." Yori said breathless as he fell to his knees, his arms and legs shaking from adrenaline. "You're ok?" he asked as he took in a breath

Lydia brushed off her skirt and walked over to Yori, helping him up. "I'm fine, it's you I'm worried about." she said quietly, not noticing a small gash on her arm. A few drops of blood dropped onto the grass beneath them, but Lydia didn't seem to take notice. "C'mon, I'm sure ther will be lots more spirits like this ahead. Let's find somewhere to camp." she said, smiling softly at him.

He saw the blood drip down in front of him, at least a foot away. He jerked his head back, surprised, looking at the wound on her arm. Yori stood up, not caring if his legs were too weak to hold him up, and grabbed Lydia's arm. He dropped the backpack and took out the first aid kit. "I'm fine Lydia, don't worry about me." He took out the alcohol and put some on a cotton ball, wiping away the blood and sanitizing the wound. Quickly he pulled out gauze and wrapped it around your arm nice and snug. "There now let's go find a place to camp out." he said with a small smile. Defeating that spirit had boosted his spirits and hope. He felt confident that he could travel on and be able to protect Lydia as well as save his sister. He knew there would be more powerful spirits up ahead and he knew not to take too much credit from this one fight, but it did give him a sense of accomplishment

Lydia smiled softly when he fixed up her arm, glad to see that he was so confident now. "So, where exactly is safe now? Do we just have to keep walking til we find a campsite?" she asked, starting to walk slowly in the direction the spirit came from.

Yori stood there for a moment "Yea, i suppose we should travel the way the spirit came." he said more to himself and followed Lydia "We'll continue walking until we find somewhere to camp, if we don't then all well."

Lydia nodded, smirking a bit. "So if we don't end up finding anywhere... We keep going." she mused quietly, scanning the area for anything that seemed safe.

Yori nodded, his hands in his pocket; looking straight ahead. "If your arm is bothering you tell me. I can't do much, but it's better then complaining about it." He looked up to the sky, grey clouds overhead. It's been dull and depressing looking since they've arrived, but it hasn't rained and Yori wondered if it was just normal weather for this world. "I wonder where the other spirits are. It's like they all left this world to go to another one." Yori stated remembering a vague lesson that he had with his dad about the other side of the world.

Lydia looked at her bandaged arm, not feeling much pain at all. "I'd bet you they're all on Earth, abducting people like they did Yamato. She might not be the only one we are saving." she said quietly, fiddling with her bandage a bit. She looked ahead, seeing something in the distance. She heard the sound of running water as well. "Yori! It might be a waterfall!" she smiled widely.

Yori thought deeply about that. He wasn't up for saving the whole world, he only came to save his sister. He snapped out of it when Lydia had yelled out. Yori picked up his pace, getting closer to the sound and stopped when he reached the edge, sure enough there was a water fall, but it was warm not cold and all the fish swam upside down. He looked at it puzzled and looked into the water, it was like he saw the reflection of another world. "Lydia, come check this out." he said pointing into the water. "...This reflection, it reminds me of a place back on earth...like the Niagara falls!" He looked at Lydia, his stomach queezy "I think this is like a mirror to our world." He looked back into the water and put his hand in it. "I wonder, if we could use this as a portal back home." Yori continued reaching out to the other side with his arm, now holding his breath; his head underwater. He popped back up "I'm gonna check it out. If i'm not back then i died trying."

Lydia grabbed Yori by the shoulder, a bit afraid of his stupid idea. "Yori. You don't need to risk your life over this. You have a family to get to. We can find another way." she explained, not wanting to lose Yori.

He looked at her with a joy in his eyes and a smile on his face. "It's ok, i will return, we'll have to find a way to get back home anyways, and i'll be damned if i die in front of my sister trying to get us home." with that he went over to where there were more rocks and shrubbery "stay over there!" he shouted. Yori took his clothes off and dived in, he could still see the reflection of the other world and he desperately grabbed the water, trying to reach the other world. He turned around and caught his breath. 'one more time' he thought, took a deep breath and started swimming down again. Once again he came back up to the surface gasping for air, he laid on a rock as he caught his breath. He crawled out, ripped the blanket in half, dried himself off and changed. He walked back to Lydia with the dry half of the blanket around him. "No use, you would need to have a scuba diving outfit to get down there. If you want, we can hunt for fish while we're here. I also saw a small over hang over by the rocks we can set up camp there." He said a bit disappointed that he could get to the other side.

Lydia nodded, biting her lip. "I told you, it wasn't a good idea. But I'll try to catch some fish." she smiled, reaching for the dagger that wasn't there. Her eyes went wide as she searched for the dagger, then remembered she had flung it at the spirit. She sighed and went over to a nearby tree, ripping off a strong branch and sharpening the tip. After a minute or so, she nodded, admiring the sharp tip. "Now to get some dinner." she said quietly. Lydia took off her dress, only in her undergraments, and dove into the water. She stayed still, waiting for one of the fish to swim past, and stroke it with the spear. She lifted the stick and pulled off the fish, putting it on the grass behind her, but far enough that it wouldn't flop into the stream again. She repeated this until she had a good few fish, and she smiled. She crawled out of the stream and rubbed off some of the water, hoping the mild heat of the lowering Sun was enough to dry her. She didn't feel bothered she was half nude, she felt like a child again, as she swam in streams like this often.

Yori was sitting by the overhang while Lydia was catching fish. He started a fire, glad he had a lighter and some matches handy then carved out a wooden 'bucket' to place his arrows in and made more spears for Lydia. In the end he had 10 arrows and 5 spears. He went to looks for sharp rocks that could be used as weapons and found a good bit. He also found two perfectly round and smooth rocks that would be good for setting a fire. Yori had taken boy scouts, but he still wasn't great at setting a fire using rocks. He walked back to the camp grounds and placed them in his bag. He would have to find something to replace string somewhere else, it looked as though nothing would work around the area. When Lydia hand came out of the water he got up and tossed her the half blanket that turned into a towel. "Dry your self off." he said looking to the side blushing "I've got the other half of the blanket you can use to get yourself warmed up by the fire." Yori took the fish she had caught and cut it in half, gutting it and then stuck them on a stick to cook over the fire.

Lydia caught the blanket with one hand, drying off and then putting on her dress. "Thanks Yori." she smiled sofly at him, sitting down at the fire. She watched the fish grill, memories washing up and making her expression reminescent. She looked down after a moment with a sigh, wanting to forget. She didn't want to tell Yori either, because saying it aloud was a pain. So she sat silently, taking deep breaths as she fought tears.

Yori looked over at Lydia and knew the facial expression too well; a small smile on his face. "You know, Everyone want's to see the rainbow, but you know what? You have to walk through the rain before you get to that rainbow." He rotated the fish and warmed his hands up as he spoke "Everything with get better soon, i promise."
