"I am so not repeating myself." she growled. She was quiet for a moment, and then said, "You shouldn't do this...being nice to me. I'm a killer, I've tortured people...a lot. You really shouldn't be friends with me, you'll...you'll get hurt." she said quietly.

"meh, must people have done things that they aren't proud of. But am always nice, so you know nothing wrong with me helping or trying to be friends with you? Is it really that hard to believe that am just a nice person and a good guy that won't do anything to hurm you?" I asked her as I pulled up a seat under a tree.

"No, I-" she shook her head, "I'm not worried about you hurting me," Ketsu starting picking some grass, "I'm worried that you'll get hurt. Everyone does..." she mumbled. Ketsu shook her head, "Ah, nevermind. Forget I said anything."

"No come on talk to me. Why would I get hurt? So far it seems that the only person that seems to be getting hurt is you, and i've been saving your butt all day today." I answered her back.

She paused, "I just...everyone around me gets hurt. And it's my fault, it always is. My family...they would've been alive if not for me. And...and you're a good person, I don't want you to die too."

"You have to have trust in me. I won't let anything happen to you or myself. Besides nothing....." but before I could finish, i can hear howling. "No way they found us." I said to her. "There seems to be about 10 of them this time. Their not happy with you guys." he reported to me. "Their never going to be happy now are they. Ketus your in no shape to fight, leave this to me. I need to get you up in that tree." I told her as I grabbed her arm. and was jumping up into the tree.

Ketsu climbed up painfully, staring at her new friend without words to say. "Ten of them...and two of them nearly killed me." she mumbled under her breath. She shook her head. "CC, don't you dare let anything happen to you. You're one of my-" she sighed, "You're...my only friend." she said quietly, "So...don't die, okay? Or I'll have to like- hunt you down in hell, got it?"

"Don't worry nothing going to happen. I promise. My promise is my word, my word is my life." I answered her as I came down. "So you guys decided to come in a bigger group. About time you guys got smart." I said as I pulled out my scythe. "You dare protect a theif? What is she to you? Are fight isn't with you. Are fight is her. all you need to do is bring her down and we'll leave you alone." they growled as they circled me. "I can't do that, she's my friend, and I protect my friends, no matter what. She might be a thief, but shes my thief friend. So either you guys go back where you came from, or get hurt." I yelled back.

The lead wolf gave a crooked smile, "We're not scared of you, creature. Last time was a mistake, sending in four rookies." He flaunted his claws, darkened from the dirt, but sharp as a whip. "This time will be different." He made a slight movement with his chin, and three wolves jumped from their spots to attack CC.

"Well it looks like to me that your still rookies. You haven't learned your lesson yet." I said as they came in, but they didn't hit me, they hit a clone, and a tree stamp appeared. "I came in behind one wolf and sliced him in half. "So that's one done, nine more to go." I said as I disappeared.

(I only wrote that word in white so I don't offend religious people somehow.)
The lead wolf growled viciously, "Kill him! Someone, kill him!! Use your sense of smell, you're dogs for Christ's sake!" One of the wolves jumped, and snarled, finding a demon's scent, and attacking in its direction.

"Their quick to learn. Now what's the plan? he asked as we jumped missing the attack bearly. "We're going to keep fighting. No way am going to lose to a lot of them." I said as I blocked one wolf coming in for an attack. "Besides we're fine for now." I told him as one came up from the ground, but only came into a gun barrel and a bullet between the eyes. "Nice shot." "Thanks." he answered. "So two down, eight left." Two of them came from both sides, and i jumped up and came down with two dark energy orbs, and hit them. They hit the ground enable to move. "So lets see that's another two down. Leaving six. I thought you guys weren't rookies?" I asked disappearing again.

The leader roared in its rage, and its eyes seem to change from its navy blue to a reddish brown, its size increased slightly, muscles now visible through its thick brown fur. It scented out CC fairly fast. "Scatter!" he shouted. The wolves scattered momentarily, and began circling a small perimeter around CC. A gray wolf- the third in command- jumped from the circle and latched onto CC's leg.
