Riku sighed. Well there went plan one. Shaking her head, she began digging in her bag and placing items on the counter. These were the ones she was willing to sell."I'd like to sell these."

"Let's see....Smooth rocks are only worth 100 gold, let's just say rocks period. The Gems are only worth that much as well, and the Fool's gold. Not real mind you, and the Star Dust ...is the only thing really valuable."

Plus the Star dust is 1000 gold , so in all you gain 2300 gold."

Riku looked relieved as she took the money from the man. Already her pack was a lot lighter and was easier to trek around with. She then glanced at the list of items the place did have and grinned. Time to stock up on items then. After that she could go rest on her land, think about who would be on her team for the upcoming mission and then go back. AvaVillage was a cold place and so she'd need to dress warmly this time."I'd like to have 8 pokeballs and then six potions please."
Gold: 2800-1400=1400 remaining

The man would take his coin even as he went and gather the items. 1400 gold, and he would return with what she asked in a bag, 8 pokeballs and 6 potions. It would seem that if Riku didn't gain anything from the tournament ...she had gained the ability to stock herself quite well ....as the man smiles.
"Well ..well ...well, I had you peg wrong. You are a customer afterall."
He was smiling now. He had plenty of student come in and window shop and leave, the fact that Riku had bought so much in one go had him smiling happily.
"Will that be all?"
Riku gains: 8 pokeballs, 6 potion

Riku nodded and then placed the items into her pack. They would come in handy as she then waved goodbye. The girl would be back eventually, maybe after she found some more items or something. "If you get any news about the fire stone, let me know please."

Arriving at the PokeMart, Raven would march rather swiftly though the doorway and make a beeline straight for the counter. The moment he was in front of the till he'd open the flap of his satchel, one hand digging into the bag and pulling free the various contents. Gems would be placed down first, followed by a multitude of rocks, a balloon of all things, and lastly the various stones he'd collected at the Tournament. After all this was presented, he would simply state "How much can I get for this?" His red orbs occasionally darting around the room, stopping to scan various prices. It was obvious he had every intent of purchasing something once finished, but for the moment it was a matter of seeing just how much he would have.[Items for Sale: Ghost Gem, Ice Gem, Psychic Gem, Ice Rock x 2, Heat Rock x2, Damp Rock x 2, Smooth Rock x 2, Air Balloon, Oval Stone, Moon Stone, Water Stone, Leaf Stone x 2 ]

The man would smile lightly at him.
"Everyone seems to want to sell ...sell ...sell. Okay, let's see, so let me make this clear this is what you will get for those items.
6,450 gold."
The man would tell him with a smile.

For a time Raven would stand there in complete silence, his breath slowing till it almost seemed as if he'd stopped. The only sign of life in the boy was the glint in his eyes as he looked over the counter at the man. He was crunching the numbers in his head, making sure the price was to the exact cent. So many years of being a noble, as well as a child on the street had taught him the value of knowing the price of such objects...and being able to tell when you were being swindled.
All in all the pricing added up to exactly half what the man could sell each for. The common value...and overall a fair enough deal. He was no merchant, he wasn't about to actively hunt down a place where he could sell these things for more.
Nodding, boy held out his hand "Agreed. You may subtract from that the value of 30 packages of Pokemon Food, as well as the additional cost of 7 potions" Raven stated firmly, eyes serious and unblinking "Approximately 3700 if I am not mistaken."

The man would smile at that notion. Then he would make it a point to whistle loudly as a Machamp would come out of the back with those items on a lift ....as it would seem that it wasn't easy to carry 30 package of this stuff. That was 150 units of food.
The man would smile at him ....as he took the money and handed over the 7 potions.
"That sounds reasonable to me ...is there anything else I can help you with?"
He would ask.

Victoria would make her appearance there as well ....as she walked in to see that Raven was quite busy. The boy seemed to be trying to buy out the store in Pokemon food. Something that she didn't have to worry so much about with her land ....as she walks in there with her hands on her hips. She had her own items to sell, but she was going to have to wait until it seemed they finished their current deal.

tilting both his head and shoulder, crossing one arm over his mid-section, stroking his chin with the opposite hand, Raven would look at the heavy burden with a serious gaze for a time. Striding towards the door the boy would grasp the second ball on his belt, tossing it outside and release the Steelix contained within. Genn bellowed upon his release, causing the windows to vibrate slightly.
With the massive Steel-Type out in the open Raven would look from Genn to the supplies and back again. No hands....and he doubted any of his other Pokemon were strong enough to lift the burden, even segmented between all six of them. Nodding faintly to himself, the boy would look toward the man behind the counter once more "Got any rope?" He would ask quite simply. He'd need to strap the whole thing to Genn's flat head, that was the only reasonable conclusion he could make.
Besides he suspected the cost of rope would be less then a delivery charge.

Or so it would seem as another Pokemon would proceed out of the back of the store. Flapping only a single wing, the Pokemon would somehow manage to rise onto the counter. With a bright red body matched with crown and crest feathers of a bright white, a sack hanging over one shoulder, the Pokemon could be none other then the infamous Delibird! This one however came complete with the oddity however of a green sunvisor on his head, and a change belt strapped around his pudgy waist. ">How may I help you?<" The Pokemon called with a cheery wave of his wing. He was the stores personal delivery agent, but he was more then happy to lend a hand when the opportunity came; and seeing the PokeDex on the girl's ear, that time was now!

"That is fine with me, and I won't charge you for rope."
The man would declares as the machamp would make the move towards Genn. Waiting for the pokemon to lower his head, the pokemon would start to strap the items on him ...the moment that the Shop keeper had brought out the rope.
"Just make sure you come again."
He would smile at them once everything was settled they were good to go.

"I most assuredly will" The boy said, delivering a faint bow in the direction of the man. Part of that was due to the decent service, but the other factor to account for was the fact the man ran the only PokeMart in particularly close range of the Academy.
Stepping outside, the boy would briefly check the ropes...more of a cautionary action then an untrusting one...then with a motion to Genn, would proceed in the direction of his land. He had a great deal to do there... [Exiting to Valley of Strength]

Victoria would smile at the Delibird ...seems she wouldn't have to wait all day afterall. There wasn't much that she wanted to sell ...as she would take out the Soul shard. The other items, she could find use for eventually.
"I would like to sell this. Though I don't know how much it's worth."
She would tell the pokemon.
