The hairs on her fuzzy white ears stood on end. It wasn't a surprise West would be there (had Holly invited him?) so much as her recognizing the voice and instinctively wavering her tail in response. She caught herself before the thick tendril could actually do anything menacing to the wrath demon. Pulling the pills back to her chest she glared at the boil. That ain't fer yer hands, West. Might crush 'em 'er somethin' fer no reason. She did, however let him view the items after keeping a clutch on their container. Ye can look but don't touch...
Touching meant a whack of the tail in the ribcage.

Team: League of Extrodinary Students Draven shifted his pack on his shoulder as he searched the crowd of students for his group. His excitement had been growing all day, and he just about burst when he stepped out of that portal. He knew he should be more wary of field trips...he knew how they turned out. But just look at where they were! This place was amazing. And that house. That was a human house, wasn't it? In all its glory. He could see why humans liked the things~it was gorgeous! Just like out of picture book. Though it was probably more ominous than it really looked. Red had said it was the Boogeyman Training Grounds and had added something about challenges and pumpkin pills. That meant...this was likely going to hurt. He caught sight of two of his group members. "Hi, gang!" he beamed as he joined them. "Have our other members arrived yet?" He glanced around the crowd quickly then back at the house. Draven couldn't wait for things to get started. Pain or not, he was looking forward to this. Speaking of pain, "You guys already grab some of those pumpkin pills?"

Team: Scarlet Sabbath
Danny quickly pulled her hands off Moure's shoulder and made a O AO face. She gasped and said, "Moure I'm so sorry!!" That was just like the movie club thing. She really need to learn to control her actions better, but that probably wouldn't be happening any time soon. She patted Moure's shoulder and gave him a very pitiful look.
With his question, Danny looked remarkably more relaxed, clearly glad that the conversation was heading towards a happier (in her eyes anyways) tone. Plus it meant he wasn't mad!
"I'M SO READY IT'S SCARY!!" she cried out, probably way louder than she should have. Her hands immediately cupped around her mouth, but her crescented eyes and giddy hops let out the secret. She was too excited for words.

Calder had taken forever to go through customs. Having not been prepared for the Island trip, he had packed up his saddle bag with as much as he could. Food. Bandages. A little lantern. A few brushes and a change of clothes just in case. He also dressed warmly and had decided that he should have everyone dress in a certain fashion. He had sent Christof a full outfit that wouldn't stain easily and was durable, which he hoped would keep him from falling apart. It was brown which seemed to be the boil's color and with all his lumpy mass, he hoped he would be mistaken for a pile of dirt or something natural. As for the dog-eared hood - well, he had spoken to the vendor and it seemed he could only manage one altered for a monster rather than an Igor. They were the only vendors he knew! Still, it came at a great price and as Calder walked up, made his friend look cute. What was a little extra bit of cloth anyway? It was just more to keep him warm.
He had heard that the trip might be unpredictable as the last one and seeing as he just recovered from a cold, he decided to dress warmly and in Amityville colors. Since he in no way wanted to ruin his good kilt, he decided on a blood-red one instead, and walked up to Christof and a first year he didn't know but heard would be tagging along. The fact he had amazing fashion sense made Calder think this boil knew a thing or two and was an excellent addition.
"Hi Christof!" He waved, trotting over to them. "Can you believe they took my sugar cubes? You think they are going to give us all our stuff back after. They took a magazine from me that.....well, I'd like ti back and I think they might take it. It's a October Anniversary Edition." It also had the best collection of racks and he had been hoping it would be a nice thing to have in case he got bored.
Turning to the larger boil, he beamed, adjusting his newly acquired glasses as he beamed. "You're hair is amazing!"

Team NinjarJunko's hand was very warm in his own, and he gave her small fingers a small squeeze as she leaned against him. Scarlet eyes lingering down at the three little pills in his dark palm. Jaw set thoughtfully under the cover of the face mask. They didn't look all that special really, but if they could do what Red had promised they would, then they were valuable. Junko's suggestion to split them up seemed a good one, but then the question arose, who all should be the ones to hold them? The ghost boil glanced down to the ghoul at his side frowning, then up to the other members of their team that had gathered around them. The two he wasn't all that familiar with yet. "Ya, only three," he answered back to Vaith. It didn't feel like nearly enough for their group of five, but it was better then nothing, that was for sure. Junko's question to Red was a really good one actually, and he offered a hidden smile to the ghoul, evident only by the touch of brightness to his eyes. He already had what he hoped was a decent idea for how to split the pills up, but it wouldn't hurt to hear what Red said about them. "What if each of the ghouls takes one?" He was mostly asking Vaith, since it would require him giving up a chance at one of the pills. Seiji would feel better with Junko having a pill, and he'd gladly give up a chance for one himself to make sure she got one, but it wasn't just his choice. Speaking of the ghouls, one of their three was missing. "Has anyone seen Mai yet?" She should have been there with them by now, shouldn't she? Perhaps she'd gotten distracted by a warm body. There were many of them milling about. He'd already spotted many familiar faces in the surrounding crowd.

Team ARPKDespite that part of her going “IT’S A TRAP, FIELD TRIPS ARE BAD”, the fact that she was the only senior in the group made her feel somewhat responsible for the well-being of her group members – three first year students, all on their very first field trip…
When Vieve pulled away, Lizzy pouted, like she wasn’t done with showering her affections on the ghoul yet. However, members of the other groups were starting to distract her, and she was determined to at least bid her friends good luck before they have to split up and go their separate ways. Thus, pulling out the pumpkin pills from her pocket, she handed one over to the ghoul, ”Take this! I think it’ll come in handy later.” She felt so proud, protecting her juniors! Then, she excused herself making her way towards Xiu and Amrita, giving a brief wave at their group members before pulling both ghouls into a tight group hug, ”GOOD LUCK. I BELIEVE IN YOU! Amrita, protect everyone, okay?”
What? Amrita was taller now! And she’s a senior! She can do it!
Then, she turned around and walked towards another group – Shun’s group – and gave everyone there a hug. Yes, even one for Riyo and one for Shun – seeing how she knew everyone in that little group; how lucky, for them to be working with people they already know! The last person she hug, was of course Mot, since he was the most familiar to her.

The Magic Busters"I am Johan Klarstein. Good to meet you." he returned Colette's greeting, thoughtfully eyeing the pumpkin pills she'd picked up. "I haf not met either of the others, I'm afraid. I hope zhey can find us in this crowd. Vhat do you think vould be ze best way to handle ze pills? All on one person, or spread zem around?" The change in subject was perhaps abrupt, but the fact they were given fewer pills than they'd had on the Christmas fiasco was bothering Johan. At least then, everyone had two to themselves! He looked over at the hulk of a haunted house, feeling that the one thing he could be certain of was that this trip would be worse than the last two.

Sweet. She'd somewhat been looking forward to the field trip. After almost dying the last one she promised herself that wouldn't happen this time. Didn't want no concern to her team or what not with that. Interesting how they had to be in teams, for what reason? Part of her team had been quite an easy pick. She'd made her way to the designated room by herself.
This place was weird. What was that, the sky? It was all strange colored and ... changing? Holly stared at the sky as she'd been waiting for the rest of her group. There were little lights all in the sky. She'd have to remember to ask what the Jack those things were. Luckily she didn't have to wait that long at all. Levi had arrived. Let the sneaking begin! She nodded to the other ghoul at the mention of starting.
Holly noted the other two professors. Who were they? "Yeah, they say what they were for? At least we don't have a full group, might help." Or something. She looked from the side at the container Levi was holding.
Seemed one of the other group members decided to show. Holly had a strange feeling that part of the trip would involve her trying to keep her friends for killing one another. Awesome. She waved West over. Where was their other group member? Holly probably should have retrieved her before coming.
She nodded to West. "Hey." ... "Yeah they said these things were important so we're trying not to break them." Knowing this group, keeping that from happening was going to be difficult.

Where was a mute button when he needed it? Shun definitely preferred Mot when he wasn't hyped up on caffeine. Narrowing his eyes at the boy, his gaze flicked over to Mitsu briefly and it seemed like he was going to say something.
At least, that was up until Lizzy had come by to hug everyone. As usual with these things, the Reaper tensed up from the contact and he shot a glared to the spider demon for doing that. Though, he soon let out a sigh once she released him.
"Stay out of trouble if possible," he told Lizzy before looking back at Mot. A part of him was wondering if it would be worth attempting to knock him out until it was time to move.
Eh. Better not.
But it was grating at his nerves.
Running his hand through his hair, he turned to Mitsu to finally say what he was going to say.
"Is.. that so?" he said. The mention of her cookies made his stomach churned some. The last time he ate them, he ended up with a case of food poisoning, so he was rather relieved they had to be confiscated really. The whole team did not need to suffer that sort of thing.
"Well.. perhaps the boogeymen that took it will enjoy them," he uttered.
That would be nice. Put a couple out of commission for a little while.

Oh boy! Was Lizzy coming to say Hi? Oh! She is giving hugs?! Does Mot get a h--YAY HE DOES!
Lizzy would find herslef in a very tight hug, picked up off her feet, and spun in circles. "Lizzy Lizzy Lizzy I'm so glad you're here too! I guess we won't see much of each other though. it's a shame you aren't in our group, but that's okay, cause we're all int he same place and breathe the same air and fight things and get strong and Lizzt I want you to stay safe Promise okay? Yay! Let's all have fun Lizzy!"
....
He had yet to let her go.

Team Scarlett SabbathDanny’s voice was like a beacon; a loud, obnoxious beacon. Rikki twisted his body and stood on his toes to see over the gathering of students, or at least the ones that weren’t monstrously tall. Over the sea of heads he could make out the bright shade of Danny’s hair. Well, that hadn’t been hard.
He pushed his way towards her and Moure, who he know from FMC. “Why are you so excited? It’s just a school trip. This is like homework, except they disguise it with a portal.” Was he sore at the school for disallowing his candy and eye pod? Yes, yes he was. He shifted his pig pack and glanced at the bags the other two were carrying. “Roch’s stuff got confiscated, I think, but I’ve got his clothes. What did you guys bring?” With any luck, they were better prepared than he was.

Vaith took a moment to glance at the members of his group, assessing and scanning. But it wasn't long before he was personally addressed, his eyes lowering in interest. She was a reaper too? That was pretty sweet.
"Yeah, about there." Vaith extended his arm, his familiar scurrying down towards Aurian. It's small dragon snout pointed upwards, fail flickering as the note of cheer in Aurian's tone. It was Vaith's first time meeting a fellow reaper-- obviously, his familiar's newest experience as well. He didnt know that Junko and Seiji were together but by appearances, they definitely were.
By now, his familiar had decided that Aurian was safe and lifting it's wings to attempt a short flight from his arm to her's. It's touch was a whisper of substance, the noise markings jaggedly fading in and out rapidly but somehow, maintaining it's form.
"I don't know about you but from my experience, boils like me aren't well-known for holding onto the little things. Ghouls will be, infinitely, a lot safer." He looked around for any sign of Mai while avoiding his gaze from his group member's well-endowed bodies. Even Seiji had a well-cut figure. Vaith thought to himself: IT WAS GONNA BE A LOOOONG TRIP. (Hello ninja costumes. A boil's heaven and hell combined.)

Team ARPKLizzy handed her one of the pumpkin pills, which Vieve dutifully stowed away in the back pocket of her messenger bag. She'd heard there would be three of them per group- but their group itself would have four people, which meant it would be advantageous to have one of these on her.
As she looked up, Lizzy had already moved on to hug a bunch of other people, though by the looks of their outfits, they were from different groups.
No one she knew. Still, she decided to tag along behind Lizzy, for fear that they might get separated again, and how would they find each other in such a huge crowd? She briefly nodded to the people Lizzy attacked, but otherwise kept quiet.
Nothing quite merited her attention, or interest... yet.

Well, thank Jack for the exemption clause on service minipets! If there was one concern that had robbed Toby of sleep the past few nights, it was secret worry for the fate of dear Iris and, more specifically, her own stumbling fate through the Haunted House and its trials.
She'd been expectedly thorough and utilitarian in her packing that day, neatly jigsaw-arranging all the necessary things and maybe a spare luxury or two on the side. Toby's Bag 1 sealed bottle of water
1 sealed bottle of apple juice
1 pair of stiff metal tweezers
1 complete set of spare clothing
1 bag of meat flavored dry biscuit/jerky treats
1 quad set of minipet sock-booties (for injury-potential terrain)
1 small pouch of hygienics (toothbrush, bar soap, deodorant powder)
1 bottle of generic pain medication
1 first aid kit (courtesy of Shehk upon receiving)
With a last comforting adjustment of her vest, she snapped Iris into his harness, took the scareon-- who was waiting patiently as always-- by the lead bar and, waving gently goodbye to poor Tiny, was off and away from the Monster Dormitory. Just the air by itself felt charged with a sort of collective excitement from the buzzing of nervous students, and by the time she managed to pass through inspections, pushed and shoved (not that it bothered her) amidst too many shuddering bodies, the atmosphere was thick enough to cut with a Reaper's scythe. She was almost tempted to get a look at the portal with her true eye, too, but refrained as gnome security groused at her to "hurry up and go through!" instead.
One step, a rushing sensation, and them BAM.
Never before had Toby ventured to the human world, yet it was unmistakable in feeling from the first breath she sucked in. No Fear... but something different was there, something she couldn't quite put her finger on, and it left the tips of her fingers quivering with a deep rooted new excitement. Without even thinking twice, she split her horn and was greeted by a dazzling red sky. It was absolutely unlike anything she'd ever seen... and had one been watching her carefully, they might've even seen the girl gape a little before she snapped out of it moments later and, with a split second sweep of the crowd, went ambling off towards her group: the picture of (almost) composure.
Shehk was the first one she noticed, and then there was the other young undead lady beside her, Sammy.
"Hello," was the best she could call out without raising her voice too terribly, but by then, she'd already gotten within paces of them, and greeted the duo with a pleasant smile. It was actually the first time she'd ever seen either female for real, and they... well, needless to say, she'd already taken in every detail of them both. What a lovely greenish complexion Sammy had, and Shehk had such a lovely glow in her eyes! "Nice to see you both again."
As always, Iris kept respectfully quiet and just waited until his master stopped before he sat down, watching the two not-quite-strangers with passive interest.

Barth had brought exactly nothing (aside the one outfit Calder had sent for him, which he was weathering), because he knew if he brought things, he'd have to carry him. He was hoping the members of his group didn't mind sharing.
Students on the other side of the portal were already milling about, and the wooden building towered nearby. Five rooms didn't sound too bad. Not a lot of walking, with five rooms. Personally suited and living creature made it...more complex. Barth was a demon. He didn't like to face his personal ones.
Christof, judging by the floppy hat, had also been subject to the house of Calder couture. Herryk he knew...very vaguely from classes, but did not remember the ascot. Calder was dressed in a short kilt...skirt? And a very comfortable-looking oversized sweater.
"Hello, Christof, Herryk. Calder, you look...err," he hunted for a word that wasn't too telling and settled on a flustered, "cute. Didn't know you wore glasses."
