Kensei saw Sora running towards him and Haruka with his sharingan. She was too fast for him to be able to move out of the way. Instead he just spread his arms open in hopes to catch her and at least point he towards Hauka who was doing a genjutsu. "Here we go." He said too himself as he braced for the impact. Hopefully Sora was caught by the genjutsu before she reached him which would take less damage from him.

The genjutsu distracted the Rokubi but did nothing to end his charge. The demon's mind drifted off, so did Sora's actually since it was her body. However, at the speeds the Rokubi was going at, drifting off meant tripping and tripping meant hurtling forward just like charging, just with more harm to Sora's body.
However, pain was good in this case and the pain of turning into a rolling ball of doom rather than a charging line of doom broke Haruka's genjutsu. It was a good thing that the demon hadn't activated his lightning cloak, else Sora's body would have been damaged to a much greater extent.
In this rolling form, Sora's body slammed straight into Kensei's grasp at full speed, punching the air out of him at the very least. All Haruka's genjutsu had really done was leave the Rokubi confused for a small moment after impact, preventing it from ripping and tearing at the male shinobi immediately while he was regaining his breath. Although, it would start in a moment.

Kensei threw Sora off of him and held his chest. "That..hurt." He said as he moved away from her. "Hey Haruka, any idea how to stop this? I really don't want to hit her." Kensei deactivated his sharingan and sat on the ground next to Haruka. "This is the worst day of my life so far." 32/52

Haruka's genjutsu took effect and the Rokubi became more relaxed. Of course, obviously that was not a movement to stop the beast's charge, but only to remove the awareness and the intent of the beast to fight for a short period. An effect that was not within Haruka's calculations was that the beast tripped and had the effects of the genjutsu removed, the sensation of joining the clouds would be no longer in effect, yet it did not remove the state of mind of the beast where it would be relaxed for that short period. As result, after the collision with Kensei, the beast was left confused for a while. As someone who would not let such opportunity pass by, while the two bodies met each other, being Sora's at high speed, Haruka had prepared the hand signs for another genjutsu. Doing that allowed her to be able to move at the moment the Rokubi was confused, losing the awareness of the surroudings. The medical kunoichi had approached the tailed beast and moved her hand to reach for Sora's shoulder. Upon doing that with the Rokubi not in a state of alertness, it and Sora would both be subject to the effects of her genjutsu with the highest rank. The genjutsu that allowed the user to put others into a deep slumber, Nemuri. Quote: Confusion is not the same as being alert so in my opinion it would work, judging from how Kagetsukiko's post ended, giving the idea it would take some time for the Rokubi to regain the intent to fight. Nemuri (Sleep) A genjutsu technique where the ninja places their hand on their target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. Is useless when the target is particularly alert, such as in combat.

(OOC: No, the Rokubi is still in combat mode. It's possible to feel confused and alert at the same time. In fact, at times, confusion would lead to increased alertness.) Any confusion on the Rokubi's part did nothing to still his intent to fight. In fact, it raised his alertness even more. Haruka was wrong. The confusion wasn't a result of the genjutsu, not directly, so by no means was it relaxed. Rather, it was more along the lines of, and so on and so forth in several pissed off variations of anger. He was completely alert and aware of his surroundings, just not sure of which awareness was correct. However, the confusion ended as Haruka touched it. He now knew where an enemy was. Once again, it also wasn't like the confusion was the type needed for Haruka to activate Nemuri. the tailed beast thought as it felt the medic's touch and acted immediately, even as Haruka was futilely trying to use her jutsu. Electricity zapped through Sora's skin as the beast turned/twisted and slashed at the medic's stomach in one electrifying flash of a motion. Sure, only linear speed was its forte. However, Haruka was right next to it, fully confident that her jutus had worked. She was going to get away with some sort of claw wound and a very painful shock at the very least. Now with Haruka close by and easy to target, the six tailed beast switched his priorities from Raiden to the girl. Right after the claw attack, Sora's body would leap right at Haruka, not giving the kunoichi a chance to react. Sora, in her current state, could barely get a sense of her outside surroundings. All she could see was the snarling face of the weasel staring her down. {Get... off,} the girl mumbled weakly as she thought to herself,
The Rokubi agreed with a nasty sneer, {Very pathetic.} This mere human was putting up an outstandingly good resistance. She was as of yet no match for him even her own body, but given enough time she would be a formidable opponent. He couldn't have that happening, so the smart move was to erase any hopes she might have while he had the chance.

Kensei saw Haruka walk towards Sora's body and got up quickly. "Wait hold on I don't think it's safe yet." He said as he started to walk towards them. He reactivated his sharingan to get ready for the worse. Sadly he was correct, Sora(Rokubi) was going to attack Haruka as soon as she was touched. Kensei ran as fast as he could to the two. He stopped a few inches away. "Sorry Sora..." He moved forward to do a high kick that sent Sora away. "Haruka you need to be more careful!" (Next time state it please. Confusion is not always leading to increased alertness, and that difference is noticeable in the behavior of the one confused.) Kenshin gave a warn to Haruka, yet his words and reaction were moments to late. The medical kunoichi had mistaken the state of confusion of the beast and was attacked in response to her attempt to use Nemuri. A slashing motion with the girl's nails, while also emitting an electric current to shock Haruka. Fortunately she had acquired the minor electrical resistance from the electrical resistance training and the shock from the Rokubi was not as strong as it would. "Ahgh" the kunoichi still felt pain though the strength of the shock was sligthly weakened, and she was also hurt by the claws. The Rokubi was not done though, it leaped towards Haruka, but as it would do so Kensei had motioned himself to kick Sora. If that had worked, Haruka would simply recover her ground, the wound in her stomach was not too deep and her increased healing factor was enough to heal it. As her wound closed her thorn shirt was the only thing that showed Haruka was struck. The healing would happen regardless of Kensei being able to send the Rokubi flying away or not. Yet, in case the man was not able to protect Haruka, this time from the Rokubi's leap, she would seem to throw herself backwards along with the beast's movement. With that she would use the momentum to pull Sora with her arms and when with her back against the floor she would swing her leg upwards to throw the girl away. As most know electricity in general is a deadly and somewhat scarce element, generally one could only collect the necessary electricity necessary to perform techniques if they were fighting in the middle of a thunderstorm, or near an electrical source. However current training standards in the academy show how a cloud-nin tends to make electricity through the use of chakra, turning most Cloud-nin in to human capacitors, technically. The process is generally quite painful and requires about 5 months of mental and physical conditioning to resist the charges you activate onto your body. As it is written, this technique is optional. A person who doesn't take this skill will generally feel pain when even performing their own electricity based techniques, also one who tends to take this ability tends to notice that minor shocks generally do not hurt them as badly. Note: This skill is passive. Special: This Jutsu may not be copied by the Sharingan, simply because it is more of a trained skill than an actual ninjutsu.

(OOC: Sorry, I didn't even think that the confusion could have been thought to be caused by the genjutsu sweatdrop .)
As the Rokubi had paid no mind at all to Kensei, Sora's body was hit squarely by his kick, a bestial grunt of pain sounding out in reaction to it. With a solid thud, the electric beast landed on the ground some ways from Kensei and Haruka after having flown through the air. However, it quickly picked itself up back to all fours with a quick twist of the body. The kick had knocked enough air out of the demon-controlled Sora to abruptly cancel the electricity that had been surrounding her. Rather than reinstating the electrical cloak, the Rokubi instead form a Thunder Orb while pacing from side to side like a predator waiting for the right moment to strike, the bloody hand leaving a small trail of blood on the ground. The Thunder Orb began to slowly rotate around Sora's body after forming.
Sora, by now, had been completely knocked unconscious. A good thing, as the Rokubi could now fully relish tearing apart these two fools.

"That can't be good. Kensei said to himself. "Haruka stay on your toes alright?" He did a few hand seals and fired five small fireballs towards Sora. When they were a certain distance he threw five shurikens inside the fireballs. He then threw a light bomb that hit Sora on the head and let out a blinding light. This was mostly to distract/disable her so she wouldn't be able to dodge the fireballs 26/52 [Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique Rank: C Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai. ]

Haruka was alright, though the same could not be said about Sora's condition. Sora's consciousness seemed to be supressed by the Rokubi while it took over her body. Kensei had given continuity to his attack towards the Rokubi, sending fireballs with shuriken hidden within them. That was not all the man had also sent a light bomb in order to distract the beast. Haruka had to use that opportunity and prepared hand seals for another jutsu. When finished she would kick some dirt, sand and dust from the ground into the air, only in an attempt to catch its attention after it would have reacted to Kensei's attack. If the Rokubi's attention was taken by the kunoichi's move, it would be put into a trance with the dust and leaves that were carried by the wind. Right after that, it would start seeing a vision of what it fear the most, be it death or being sealed somewhere with no means of escaping. Chakra History: -1 (Cloud Watching) -2 (Nemuri) -1 (Magen) Chakra: 27/31 Quote: Magen: Narakumi No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique) Description: A low level illusion skill, which makes the opponent envision a very traumatic scene. After being put in some form of trance by leaves, grass, flower petals, and dust flying in front of the eyes, the target creates this vision himself. The jutsu only forces the target to think about the worst event possible for them, and then capitalizes on that by showing it happen.

the demon continued to look down on humans as it easily dodged Kensei's attack by simply dashing to the side, an easy feat for the Rokubi's speed. As it sprinted, it formed another ball of lightning and it set it rotating around Sora's body as well.
However, things weren't as easy as the Rokubi expected. The shurikens and fire balls slammed harmlessly into the ground. The light bomb did the same, but the flash it created upon impact caught the demon off-guard and blinded it even in its new position. In annoyance, the demon snarled and began rubbing its eyes with its paws, the two thunder orbs orbiting Sora's body at a faster pace to illustrate the demon's irritation.
The moment it regained its vision, the Rokubi sent both thunder orbs at the first target it saw in retaliation to the flash: Haruka. Well, not directly at Haruka. One was sent at blinding speeds at the girl's chest while the other was sent so that it would smack right into the arm closest to Kensei. The second orb was to keep the other human from interfering like he did last time. If he tried to move Haruka out of the way, he would be hit by the second orb, no doubt. Both orbs were successfully launched and the Rokubi sneered in victory, only for the sickly grin to turn into a grimace as, once more, the humans dared to irritate his eyes, this time with dirt. The demon shook its head to clear its vision and then snarled as it lifted its face back up to see Haruka once more. However, it didn't see Haruka. Well, at least not the Haruka that Haruka was. This Haruka, for some reason or other, looked as if it could easily beat and kill him. The demon's fear welled up, its intelligence working against him as he was forced to acknowledge and thus fear this illusionary Haruka's power. The Rokubi whimpered... then did what it did best.
The six-tails turned tail and ran away as quickly as possible... only to bang into a conveniently placed tree and then trip over a conveniently placed rock so that it rolled down a conveniently placed slope and finally crashed (head-first) into a conveniently placed boulder. At the speeds the demon was going, the only thing that could happen was for the demon to black-out after hitting its head.

((anti climactic indeed... I get you wanting to end it but it is almost as annoying an end as when the cloud beast decided to retreat. Oh well at least your answer makes some sort of sense...))

(hopes this makes sense) Kensei saw the orb heading towards him and Haruka. Even with his sharingan his body couldn't really move out of the way in time. He began doing a couple of hand signs. He shot out two fireballs the size of basketballs towards the thunder orbs. The fireballs collided between the orbs causing a loud bang followed by a powerful force. This caused the thunder orbs to go off course but also pushed Kensei and Haruka away only to be stopped by a tree. The impact caused him to black out 21/52 [Katon: Myaku Hitofuki no Jutsu (Fire Release: Pulse Blast Technique) Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.]

The genjutsu that was cast by Haruka affected the beast with no problem, but not before it hurled the two spheres at the kunoichi. One was aimed straight at her chest while the other would be used to prevent Kensei from getting closer to aid her. Yet, the man did something that was not predicted by the beast. Kensei did not go for her air, instead he launched two medium sized spheres towards the electric orbs. Upon contact the two techniques caused an explosion that hurled Haruka away, before the beast's orb managed to hurt her. Kensei was pushed against a tree, but with Haruka being far closer to the orbs than he was, she was sent farther. Being on a mountainous area, cliffsides were not rare, the risk of falling was constant for those who lived there without being careful. The force of the explosion sent her far enough to reach the cliffside, Haruka's body fell down while she lost consciousness after having hit her head during the fall. She could be found afterwards, by people from Kumo, if it was not for something weird happening. A couple of shadows who seemed to be observing the fight jumped off along with the unconscious kunoichi and carried her away, leaving before any team could be requested to help. Haruka Tsukai disappeared.

Kensei woke up minutes later and noticed he was by himself. He got up and cracked his back before he started limping around. "Hello? Anyone there?" He shouted before he reached a slope and saw an unconscious girl who's head was against a boulder. "Sora?" He tried to walk down without falling but he failed miserably. Instead he started sliding down and stopped next to Sora. "Hey come on wake up Sora..." Kensei started shaking her before he tried to get up himself. He picked her up by the shirt and placed her on his shoulder. "Lets tell the owner the news." Kensei said to the unconscious Sora. He walked towards the owners field. 21/52
