The girl's mouth was open like a fish as he made his statement. Not important anymore, she was apart of this class. She was nothing more than a piece to their puzzle, nothing, her lineage, her prestige. She recovered slowly as she actually ground her teeth anger at his speech by the end of it.
Then as if to mock her even further ...a Pawniard would appear. A magnificent specimen of their species, but still nothing more than a pawn.
"Humph, you will regret those words. If you don't recognize my heritage, I will show you what it means. I will make you bow at my feet before this is all over, because, I am not anyone's shield."
She declares sharply.
"I am the blade ....and I shall not take this insult lying down. I shall show you and everyone here. I am no one's pawn."
she had known she was in the wrong class. That test had been wrong, and as her professor spoke it became much more clearer. This simpleton that wouldn't even acknowledge her greatness, the greatness inborn into her, and simply make that statement.
It made sense, Steel is stronger, but stubborn, unyielding, and something that is doom to failure from the beginning. Because, steel without someone to form and focus it was quite a useless thing.
No, she wasn't going to be a shield ....she would turn herself into a weapon instead. That was the legacy of her family, and one she plans to continue as she would finally declares.
"Give me your worst, and I will turn it into gems that will only magnify my family and it's greatness. SO that it becomes so blinding you can't nor will you dare say what you said to me again."

Again the child had prompted the Professor to burst into laughter with her words, though this time the fit didn't last nearly as long, nor did it grow quite so hysterical. "Pawn? You wish!" The man would declare as he slapped one hand against his chest "I'm a Rook, and I can tell you this, you aren't even fit to wipe a Pawn's boots as you are now!" The man would declare, though he seemed to be speaking of something else entirely compared to that of the girl.
"If you are a blade, we'll simply have to blunt you, break you, melt you down, and reforge you into a proper shield" Rook would state, a knowing smirk crossing his lips. The girl might have had an attitude, but she was no more then a particularly feisty mouse before a lion in comparison.
Soon his smile would broaden "Bring all the glory to your family you want however...like I said, we're your family now. Everything you do reflects upon us" He would state, crossing his arms "Do well and you shall be rewarded...do poorly, and....fufufufu....let's just say there's more then one way to break a blade."
Leaning back in his chair, Professor Rook would open up one of the drawers upon his desk. Reaching in, the man would remove four items. Three Pokeballs, and a Single Potion. "Your first mission is to go to the Island of Beginners. Once there you must complete two tasks" He stated, watching her closely "First is to capture at least one more Pokemon..." The items would be placed upon his desk for her to take "...the second is to retrieve a Chrono Stone. An item which only exists in places where the past dwells in the present."
Yawning, Rook would then stretch out "Boats behind the Pokemon Center. Go around back and down the stairs to reach the dock....don't go to the bottom of the stairs if you value that your heart still beats."

The girl was turning purplish .....red in her anger. The more he talked the more she wanted to break him as she started to stomp over to his desk and take the needed items. Her skarmory only clack her beak in her own relaxed nature as the girl headed for the door.
"Reforge me you may try, but don't be too surprise if you come back a few fingers short for the experience."
She would declares between clinch teeth on the way out. Her mind reeling with this pompous arrogant fool whom had refused to give her and her family the proper reception she deserved.
She would make him pay for this, hurt, burn, bleed.
All of those words became one and the same to her ....as she stopped and looked around a bit. It was her Skarmory whom was in the lead as the metal bird had saw no reason to stop ..at the doorway when she had used up a perfectly good stomp to make her anger known.
The bird would head towards the Pokemon center even as the girl followed behind still muttering things that weren't proper for a lady to declare. But then again, Nakano wasn't a lady, she was a ninja and proud as hell of her lineage and everything connected to it. She wouldn't allow him to make her a laughing stock nor take such pleasure in her painful situation for long.
She pledge it.

Riku walked into the classroom, wearily. Well the Professor could've been anywhere in here, as she had learned from previous times. Well the mission had been a success but it had taken a while for her to complete it. On another thought, she knew that her pokemon needed a lot of training. Her thoughts wandered back to the Aether and the people she had met there. They had really strong pokemon and she would need to work really hard in order to catch up. Regardless she glanced around, trying to figure out if the Professor would be in the classroom or not.

The first thing the girl would be faced with was the harsh and familiar bellowing of a Feraligatr, and the responding cries of a Venomoth. Tilted just enough toward the door that Riku would be able to see, a small television sat atop Professor Rook's desk. Playing upon the screen was a familiar battle, though the girl had been a bit more up close and personal with the combatants.
Words accompanied by a news logo would flash at the bottom of the screen as a massive Feraligatr waged war across a theme park with an equally large Venomoth. It would seem those in PokeLand hadn't been the only ones to witness the conflict.
"You missed the Merry-Go-Round" The first thing the Professor would state as Riku entered the room, lounging in his chair and sipping a cup of coffee. Black of course. Suddenly the speakers would blare as an explosion took place on screen, immediately followed by Rook turning off the TV. "Well..." The Professor would adjust his position and look upon his student "...it wasn't perfect, but you completed the mission rather well. That Venomoth never stood a chance" He praised, managing to smirk briefly before putting down his cup. Then a scowl would done his features "Still, although you won the battle rather easily, it is plenty evident that your technique needs work."
Adjusting himself again, the Professor would sit upright "With that in mind I will not be giving you your next mission. Instead, I want you to train till each of your current team has gained a minimum of 1 level each. As you are now, I don't imagine you'll survive the final test" Leaning forward, Rook would fold his hands "I want you to proceed to the Mirage Arena. A training area within the Academy where you need not fear death...you'll find it near the Battle Room, the place where you gained true entrance into this Academy."

First of the girl was shocked that there had been reporters there to record the whole thing. Well technically she shouldn't have been that surprised. There were people all over the place and the park was kind of big so they had plenty of places to hide without being seen. Though she supposed that reporters had to take risks in order to make some money and get the top stories. Though that must've been a top story that PokeLand was out of control and two giant pokemon had been battling against each other. How had her Professor known to check the news to see what had happened on her latest mission? The world will never know. Oh well, none of her concern anyway. Upon hearing what Professor Rook said, she smiled. That was exactly what she needed, a chance to level her pokemon up and without a risk, this was a great opportunity for her. Besides after seeing all the competition, she really needed her pokemon to become stronger. After listening to his directions, she nodded. Okay, that didn't sound too hard. The Battle Room, she remembered where it was. Well hopefully."Thank you, Professor." she said happily, before walking out of the room. Time to go train.

Nakano would return back to class, the girl wasn't going to lie. She was tired she had just traveled to the center of the island, after losing and being defeated by the island a total of three times. It wasn't something to be proud of, but considering she got what she wanted in the end she wasn't going to complain.
A shinobi only gets stronger if they push themselves.
Thus, the girl simply counted herself as a success as she calls out loudly.
"I am back."
It was probably a stupid way to enter the area, but that was her.

What Nakano would enter the room would likely come as a bit of a surprise to her given the evidently goofy nature she'd seen from the Professor prior to her first assignment. Standing at the far end of the room with his back to the door, the Professor had gathered several desks together and seemed to be browsing over a wide series of blue-prints. Beside the man stood his ever silent and intimidating Bisharp.
"Did you retrieve the Chrono Stone?" The man's only words to the girl, though he never turned his direct attention to the child, instead opting to lean farther over his blue-prints, running a gloved finger down one of the bright white lines.

Nakano was curious ....blue prints weren't something she expected the Professor of the Guard team to have. Unless Guard was more like body guard, and he was assign to keep one one of the higher ups ...safe. Her imagination ...was going wild at that thought as the Professor would be entangled with a beautiful woman that he had to guard.
Their eyes would meet, and after taking a series of razor leaves for her ....the two would fall in love and be wed.
She was literally swooning behind him when he spoke and she would remember to answer.
"Yes, I have the Chrono Stone."
The girl declares with a bit of a snap in her steps.

"Well where is it?" The Professor asked quite directly, swiftly beginning to roll up the various blue prints as the child drew closer. Whatever it was it didn't look pretty. Rather then the layout of some large building or series of structures, those that Nakano would be able to witnessed before they were put away looked like a number of gruesome and inevitably bloody looking torture devices, along with one seeming to detail the entrance he'd made when the girl had first arrived.
Once all the blue prints were rolled up, Professor Rook would then proceed to shove them into a large satchel and hand it to his Bisharp.

The girl actually paled just a bit. Torture wasn't anything new to her clan, but she personally had never had the stomach for it. Gutting one's opponent wasn't something that made her sick, but doing it slowly and for the pleasure of it well that would turn anyone's stomach. As she took a deep breathe trying to make sure she swallowed it as she would pull out of her bag the Chrono stone.
Holding it where his hand might be ...she would retort quite shyily.
"What are you planning on doing with that? Does it involve this Chrono stone?"
The girl would ask out of curiousity.

The Professor would pause for a moment "...work...and you'd best hope you never be involved in it..." He'd state in a surprisingly cold voice, his eyes seeming almost hollow as he spoke. For a moment their would be a flicker of motion in the orbs, watching not her but something passed her and giving some unspoken command. Were Nakano to turn at all, it would only ever be in time to see three large red-tipped blue vines snaking around the doorway.
"Hold on to the Chrono Stone for now, you'll need it in your next mission" Rook would speak as he proceeded to his desk, turning his chair slightly and then sitting down "For now return to your land. Get some rest. Mingle. Whatever it is you do just don't do it here."

Nakano wasn't completely surprise with what he said. She just crossed her arms and mumbling nothing nice she would turn around and leave. He acted like her dad ...when something important or interesting was about ...it's always go to the next room.It would seem that even here that wasn't much different as she would kick the ground once and then head towards her land.
She might as well go where he asked ...for now.

Stretching and yawning, the girl would arrive back at her class. She was garb differently then the day before with a simple t-shirt and blue jean pants with a few rips in it. She also seemed to have decided to go with a new hair style as well with his crop short and simply hanging down.
Nakano was ready for another day ...as she walks in without any form of caution. Afterall, she is a shinobi.
"I'm back."
She said in a singsong voice.

The child would find her words promptly met by the slamming of a door; a strange thing considering the Professor appeared to be stationed by an empty section of wall...with a red smear leading up to it. Well didn't that just seem peculiar?
"My my, you startled me. Went and spilled my cranberry juice" Rook declared, and although he was indeed holding a glass, he didn't sound all too concerned about that matter.
"I suppose you'll be wanting your next assignment now?" The Professor asked, carelessly tossing the glass aside and allowing it to shatter upon the floor. A few moments later his Bisharp would shuffle by with a broom and mop in either hand to clean the mess.
