Chrono got up and immediately went for the pinfall, this put away Kelly King. Surely it could put away Landry..

Landry seemed completely lifeless as Chrono pinned him and the referee rushed in to count it.
"1...2....th"NO! Landry, body broken but mind secure, shot up an arm at the very last second. It may have beaten the King, but Landry had too much at stake to go down yet.

The crowd seemed amazed that Landry managed to get out of such a maneuver and so was Chrono. Chrono sat up and made a slapping motion with his hands three times indicating that the ref was slow in his counting. The ref however shook his head and the match was still on apparently.
None the less Chrono looked to get Landry to his feet again and attempt the move another time..

Landry was dragged up to his feet like the dead weight that he was and he was locked in to the maneuver yet again. Something inside of Mike woke him up, and the fire was back. When Chrono spun, Landry tried slipping one arm out of the hold and throw his knees up, positioning them under Chrono so that when he spun to face him, he'd eat a Heartbreaker.

Chrono was looking to finish this match once and for all, and it seemed like he was going to do it, except Landry reversed the move and spun Chrono around. Chrono couldn't counter fast enough and he felt a blow to his gut that instantly gave him the sensation of nausea as he flew backwards and landed on the mat.

Landry scrambled to the pin with all the strength he could muster, hooking a leg and laying back on the villanous b*****d, hoping it was enough to put him away!

Thr.. No!
Chrono got his shoulder up at the last second, he wasn't about to let Athena down, nor was he about to give Landry the satisfaction of him winning this match.

Mike's heart sunk right there when he kicked out. He sat up, running his hands through his hair and asked himself what it would take to put this monster behind him.
Landry stood, albeit slowly, and he realized that Chrono's knee has given out on him twice since the steel steps shot, and decided if he could make him tap while he was unconcsious, he could probably do it with all of his blood INSIDE of him. He grabbed on to Chrono's legs and tried applying his Figure of Perfection!

Chrono felt his legs being set up for Landry's patented submission. He wasn't about to let that happen, so Chrono shot his body up and attempted to wrap his hands around Landry's throat, if successful Chrono would attempt to get to a vertical base and lift Landry up for a choke bomb!

Landry was kicked off into the ropes and rebounded straight into Chrono's hands around his throat. He was lifted up and thrust out with both legs, trying a sort of dropkick to knock Chrono over and release him mid air so he wasn't completely flattened by the Chokebomb.

With Landry hoisted in the air, Chrono knew it was only a few seconds and victory would be his.. Or so he thought as he was then flung back by Landry's swift drop kick of sorts. Chrono released his hold, and gravity took it's place as he staggered back a few steps before falling on the other side of the ring.

Landry landed on his feet with help from catching the top rope and saw Chrono was having some difficulties. He gestured to Chrono to "come get some" with a confident grin and shouted.
"BRING IT ON YOU DUMB SONOFABITCH!"

Chrono got up and cracked his neck, as his eyes widened at Landry's remark. He made his way towards Landry, and made a motion like he was going to Yakuza kick Landry, only he'd drop his foot just short of Landry and attempt to knee him in the gut with his other (and bad) knee.

Landry had no intention of being anywhere near Chrono when he lashed out, and he sprung his trap, dropping down and aiming a low double dropkick at both of Chrono's legs.

Chrono was once again hit in the legs, gravity of course taking place he'd crumble and attempt to land on Landry.
