Having not touched the youma drink as of yet, Wolframite was only VERY tipsy. He watched as his comrades called out for more drinks, and beamed proudly at them. They were all drinking so hard for the cause. He was never prouder of alcohol abuse in his life. It almost felt as if they were all buddies in a pub and he felt this was how it should be. Even the youma were excited and he thought even more how exciting and close they were to them. Their chant was contagious, and he called out "Chug!" once with a raised fist before drinking into his next stein and nearly gagging. Another bad one. He reached for another.

Wolframite was forgetting which steins he had drank from, which steins youma had emptied and which ones he had put aside. He started to reach out for those nearest him and kept finding them empty. Another. Then another. He started to whine. "Where has all the drink gone?" He looked around and a youma beside him only shrugged before gesturing to someone to bring him a round.
Smiling, he reached over and hugged the big lug, which was similar to hugging a oversized sloth with massive claws and a very petite yet sharp mouth. "Yur suts a gewd yourma." It patted his head awkwardly and looked out to it's friends, mouthing the words for help.

He was offered another drink, but in the youma's haste to pry him off and give him a stein to cuddle, he gave him another vinegar concoction. Wolframite took a sip and couldn't even handle it, shoving it away instantly. "Im gonna be pickled at thif rate." He then looked at the youma who gave him the stein as if he just broke up with him. "Don't yu lick me?" He probably meant like, but the youma wasn't connecting the dots and got up and moved.
"Nooooo. Don't gew! I wanna be yur friend!" He sadfaced as the youma left and then dropped his head on the table. "Eferyone weves me." And his shoulders started to shake.

Slowly he'd felt himself sort of slip away, not to sleep, but just everything seemed distant. Like some physical distance but there wasn't any physical distance with the people and youma around him. He half noted Wolframite. But it all seemed like if he walked over and reached out his hand wouldn't reach. It was an odd sort of out of body feeling.
This he sort of blamed, with half a though given to it, on the actual booze he'd consumed. Hearing the youma chanting he let himself raise a hand to call for more drinks. He didn't think much on the odds of getting something foul tasting, maybe it would be beyond tasting? He could hope, right? Grabbing the first of five steins he found...booze.
Sipping, slowly, he took his time in getting through the drinks before calling for more..maybe water this time.

As luck would have it he'd gotten water! Jumping, and giving an oddly high pitched giggle of glee, the blond was quite happy. No more nasty vinegar or booze! It was water. What he hadn't noted was his jump of excitement shook his chair and sent it tipping backward. Hands shot out as soon as he did notice, nearly missing the edge of the bar with his hands. With a yelp and something of a groan he pulled his chair back upright before he and it toppled right onto the floor. Ok so balance was a no go, and he was sure he couldn't get home after this. He'd have to find someone else, but who's, house to crash at.
Blinking his eyes, rather tiredly, the blond ignored the fact the water really looked unclean and slowly drank. The taste was better than the alcohol, which was a major plus factor here. Ok, really tired, when would this be over? He wasn't sure if he should be sleeping or pointing and giggling. It was an odd feeling like being over tired to the point of acting stupid. He'd had that once, when studying for a math final. He'd wound up in the kitchen on the floor laughing at something, he couldn't remember what, with his mother staring down at him asking when he'd last slept. It felt like that again, and he had no way to explain it to his mother this time.
Resting his head on the cool bar top for a moment he lifted his head and managed his way through the water before calling for more.

No sniff was given to the drinks presented to him, he had not remembered to. It was something he suddenly remembered when he lifted the drink and unstable he sloshed some onto the table. Blinking slowly a finger ever so slowly pointed to where it seemed to be eating at the table top. "Oh..." Yes, very intelligent and just a bit slow and lacking in any emotion he should be showing.
"Really not good..." Nodding his head a little too fast, not that it was fast by normal standards, had him groaning and laying his head back on the table. That had been too fast. "Tilt and spin..." A little giggle, everything had tilted and sort of spun when he'd nodded like that. For a single moment he managed to wonder if he could manage to leave the rift, safely, and get to Tag's. He had found out where the man lived.

It probably helped that Fluorite hadn't landed any alchool.
"Man, some of em can't handle their liquor at all..." She poked Howlite with her elbow slightly, trying to nudge the blonde back into awareness.
...More empty glasses. How well, she stole two from the pile that was building up in front of her friend. Finder keepers, right ?
...Through... "Damn, that's a nice a**." She was either talking about Mica or the youma right next to her. It was hard to tell.

And then... then something wonderful happened.
She knew it the moment the cups were put in front of her. The amazing. The perfect. The most lovely thing she'd ever tasted.

"I could just kiss you, man." She grinned at the bartender, and down the drinks went amazingly quickly.
"Don't look at me like you're understimating me, boy ! MORE !" She slammed one fist on the table.
The youma seemed to like that attitude, and the cheering amplified. That or they were looking forward to the inevitable show, who knew ?

...Well, this was new. Fluorite reguarded the new drink with some amount of suspicion - at least it wasn't leaving trails in in the table, so she figured it was safe on some level.

...No wonder Wolframite looked so damn wasted.
"Hey, sleeping beauty. Don't make me kiss ya till you wake up." Howlite got poked some more. Was Fluorite actually serious ?

Sitting back down, Sugilite wondered when they'd be able to leave this place. Or at least if there was a ladies washroom nearby. As she was handed her next group of steins, she wondered if youmas even came in lady and gentlemen ... parts. Then she noticed the empty glasses. The bartender must be getting overwhelmed, she thought, 'drinking' deeply from each. This was the second time she'd been given empty mugs. Oh well, best to not complain. Or draw attention to it.

The delicious drink again! Sugilite knocked them back happily, reaching for more. She could keep up forever, with the promise of more of this delicious stuff. What was it, she wondered, that managed to give such a delictable and palatable flavour? She glanced around at her intoxicated comrades, and wondered if at this rate she'd be the last one standing. After all, only two glasses of true alcohol had actually touched her lips. She tried not to feel smug about it, already forgetting the rounds of sour vinegar she'd had to choke down at the start.

The smugness didn't last. A group of six flagons, her first, was shoved down the table towards her. As the contents hissed and bubbled in the cups, she cautiously leaned back away from the mugs.
This was new. And ... not exactly what she had been hoping for. Sugilite cautiously nudged the group aside, hoping they would be lost in the sea of mugs already surrounding the officers, and called for another round.

The bartender must have seen her pushing away the other drinks, she decided. Why else would he have given her one measly mug of whatever kind of alcohol they were serving here? She downed it glumly, still disliking the taste. Maybe it would be best if she sat back again, until he forgot the slight of her pushing those glasses away.
And maybe she should go find a ladies washroom, in the mean time. She really had drunk quite a lot.

A firm elbow to the rib caused one of the blonde's eyes to open, squinting at the bar before her. In front of her were drinks, yes, but none of them looked good. Maybe it was the whole, bar-eating acid thing.
Mumbling under her breath, she shifted, hiding her face against Fluorite's neck. No, no, Mr. Acid...
