B'nen had decided he rather liked Dezima, especially on hearing about her preferred exploratory exploits. They lived in somewhere as interesting and busy as a weyr, why would they not check out all the nooks and crannies when lessons proved a bit boring? And staying in her company a bit longer would be nice as well... The Weyrleader's rounding on the new greenrider was a bit startling, yes, but completely understandable, once B'nen understood the gist of this. He might be one of the laziest candidates to Impress into this clutch of dragons, but even he was well aware of the restrictions—before he Impressed! Went to prove it really was the dragon's choice? Even if that choice ended up choosing ill-informed (or scatterbrained) partners... Ah well. At least his conversational partners' pleasant moods seemingly hadn't been spoiled for the evening by the happening, and B'nen figured if the green was going to go between, she'd've done so by now.
“As big as a full grown man? You don't say, Brynja...” B'nen said with a laugh, inviting her to elucidate as he led them all over to the food. Gneisth moved for Stromath as B'nen waved in arrival to his twin still hovering near the food. the brown dragon said cheerfully, eager to make introductions all around.

K'en smiled and gave the group a return wave in greeting as they approached. The only reason he was really still hovering near the food was because he was attempting to finish feeding Stromath, but the continued social distractions were making the task rather difficult. "Good evening. I hope you both have been doing well." Very recent drama aside that was. The bronze greeted his brother with a low hum as he approached with another brother and sister in tow. Microth, Larth, it is a pleasure to see you both, he greeted pleasantly before answering Gneisth's prior questions. And yes, our evening has been well. Suunath and Hers went to go check on and encourage Pyrth and Hers. Which, in his opinion, was a rather commendable thing. With all who had already been calling to their sister, however, he did not wish to join in the fray and risk confusing her further. No, it was best that she and Hers be left to their own to focus on one another. Stepping out of the way of the table, he said, You three should eat if you have not already. The meat is quite fresh. He was content enough with what he had had thus far. He could wait until later to finish eating.

Zurith gave a comforting, soothing sound to his blue brother. We could not have done much without causing an incident. And there was not much time to do anything. It might have helped had the wine not been set out so early or it may not have helped at all. No it wasn’t right Pectolath, but I believe she realizes her mistake now. I doubt it’ll happen again. The dark blue turned his head in the direction Pyrth and Hers had gone, because of the bodies he couldn’t see them and soon gave up. Nothing wrong with wanting to protect one’s siblings.
F’law arched his brow curiously at the other weyrling. “Why? Life happens. If P’ne had really been paying attention she would have noticed it was wine in her cup and not drank it. We aren’t her caretakers W’rick. She needed to learn about consequence to her actions.” To ease the tension some, he took a sample from one of the plates. A flash of gold caught his attention. He cleared his mouth quickly.
“I don’t think you need to worry. Looks as though one of the golds is going over to help.” That was kind of the rider, he thought. Everyone else would probably be avoiding them like an illness.

Mawsith crooned at her sibling softly as she "kindly" elbowed her way through the small group surrounding the two of them, Mya following suit with a cup in hand-
Without the elbowing shoves of Hers, of course.
They had seen the hubbub from across the Hall where they had been chatting with an older Rider about some of the stuff they were to expect. But when the Weyrleader had hollared at Poor P'ne and Pyrth, the brunette almost had to football-style tackle the young Green to keep her from rushing at the elder man in, eyes blazing.
She quickly shoved the logic and not-nice things that would happen if she lectured the LEADER of their home. Only then had Mawsith submitted, but not without the grumbling of what she would do if she caught him doing that again.
Now, after she had cooled a bit, Mya kindly offered P'ne a cup of cool water while Mawsith gently nuzzled Pyrth on the shoulder; her wing gently draped over the Greens' shoulder like a human would hold their arm around another. (Opposite of where Treeth was standing to avoid bumping into her.)
"I don't know if this will help you but its usually helps some people I know when upset." Mya tossed them a gentle smile as Mawsith pulled away, humming softly in her throat. Anyone who tries to get them in trouble for talking with them can go Between themselves, an idea Hers had agreed with.
*If you need to talk, Sister, please call for myself or Mine. Perhaps both of us if need be. We'll come swiftly. Im sure the others will come too.* Mawsith did not bother to keep that comment "quiet". Mya only nodded in agreement.

Hearing the commotion going on, K'har turned to see what was going on. Alcohol? Had someone really drank some even when they were just warned to not do that? He leaned over, trying to get a better view of the situation, but it was a little hard to see from where he stood. While he stayed in place, Heth shifted nervously before glancing up to his rider.
Then, the young dragon began to make his way to where his sister was, worried for her.
he asked with a sort of whine before nudging her lightly with his snout.
Seeing his dragon move away, K'har went ahead to follow, just to make sure he could keep an eye on the youngling. He almost bumped into a few people along the way, but he managed to get through without causing too much of a fuss. The new rider could feel how worried Heth was, and over all the brown was starting to feel a bit distressed between this and what had happened with Yirath.

Dezima followed along, hand still slung along her new bonded's neck. She was still flabbergasted that someone would be so foolish as to break the rules and endanger their dragon! Alas, there wasn't much she or Microth could do that wasn't being done already. So the weyrbrat followed her friend and B'nen towards the food tables so they could get meat for their dragons. And found herself pausing to look over the new young man they'd walked up to. There was no mistaking who he must have been and Dezima took a second to glance between the brothers before giggling. "Oh man, you both would have confused me." She said with a grin towards B'nen, referring to the little switch-up prank the twins were known for pulling.
Looking back at K'en, Dezima gave him a pleasant smile. "Evening! Been doing pretty well thus far." She answered. "I'm Dezima and this is Microth." she gestured towards the green who was eagerly greeting the bronze. "How has your evening been?" Dezima asked kindly.
The green sat down where she was, next to Hers, head tilting as she watched Stromath. Her mind was already determining he was a nice bronze that seemed very mature. It was nice to see a clutchmate like that around! Unlike herself, who was as much into being an explorer as her bonded was. Realizing a little too late that she had not made any response to the bronze, she piped up in a rapid excited tone that may have been a little rushed. It's a pleasure to see you as well! How are you and Yours? Gneisth has been kind enough to keep us company! He said you are bunkmates like Larth and I!
Oh. Stromath was right. They should eat. She was definitely hungry! Dezimine? Can I have some meat now? Microth nudged hers gently as Dezima grinned and laughed softly. She grabbed one of the bowls from the table and offered the green pieces while she continued to give the twins and Brynja her attention.

Happy as he was to see everyone, and as certain as he was that they were all thrilled that he was there as well, Orthoth new better than to argue with a gold, even when she was his sister. Even when they were barely hatched. He drew his neck back and fumbled backward a step, nearly trodding on his own tail, at Sunnath's reprimand. For one moment a thread of yellow swirled through his eyes, and he next thought to crane his neck and look around the room, just in case there was a danger he hadn't seen. But there wasn't any that he could tell. Just the concern for Pyrth and Hers. No one attacking. No one fighting. He tilted his head a little and stretched his neck toward the gold again. I DID NOT MEAN--C'mric thumped a hand against the bronze's hide gently, the other hand rubbing at his temple. He interrupted his partner, then summoned up a faint smile for Kindra's sake. "We're w-working on his volume. He d-doesn't understand that he's b-being loud. Sorry about that. B-Both of you," he added, giving Sunnath a little nod of his own. "Won't bother you." Turning to Orthoth, he said, "Come on. I'm hungry again, even if you're not." Orthoth turned his attention to Treeth and wharfled amiably in her direction, and because of it, let his weyrling get a few steps ahead before blatting a short, sharp sound and trotting after him. I Am HUNGRY TOO. WAIT FOR ME, MINE! He paused only briefly. I WAS LOUD AGAIN?C'mric shook his head a little, fondly. You're being loud again. I think I'm getting used to it. Still going to have to practice with me, though. It'll be all right.Orthoth lifted his head proudly. PRACTICE. WE WILL PRACTICE. WE WILL BE ALL RIGHT.Another pause. WHAT IS ALCOHOL?
