Illian opened his mouth and produced the frog. "Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" The frog sat for a minute on Illian's tongue with a funny long on it's face before taking the leap off. It landed in the water with a splash. The colt busted up laughing. Maybe she wasn't to bad. She didn't run away screaming. "Heeeeeey! You're actually pretty cool."
Opal shrugged starting up the hill. She would stop once in a while to catch her breath. "I honestly can not tell you for sure. But there are more then one in there."

Ion followed close behind Opal in case she slipped then he paused.
"Children! Don't eat the frogs! It's time to go, come along!"
"Yup definitely more than one." he said as he caught up to Opal. "You are so strong my love."

Gabrielle: She smiles and nods her head at Illain. "Your not bad yourself." Just as she was about to say more she heard Ion's call. "Looks like we are being called." Starts to walk towards Opal and Ion with a happy smile. "Is Opal ok?" She asked Ion after catching up. She noticed how slow she was walking.

Opal smiled at Gabrielle. "I am fine. I'm just going to have babies hopefully soon." She gave the filly a little nudge then continued up the hill.
Illian eyed the adults then got a mouthful of water. He ran over to them then grinned with his cheeks bulging.

Ion looks at his colt with wide blue eyes. "Uh oh I hope that is for one of your uncles when you meet them." Ion cautions. He smiled at his new daughter and whispered. "See she is fine a little crotchety with everyone besides us but that is because we are the lucky ones, the ones she loves the most."

Gabrielle: She is watching what Illian is going to do with that water while keeping up with them. Her ear pricked forward at Ions coment but became excited at a mention of more people to meet. "Uncles?" She asked with a smile.

Opal was panting by the time they reached the top of the hill. She tiredly made her way to a nice soft patch of grass before easing down. "I think I'll just take a nap." She said tiredly. "Why don't you take them to meet the rest?" She laid her head across her front hooves.
Illian stared at Ion then burst out. "Uncles?" He sprayed Ion with the water in his mouth. "I HAVE UNCLES!?!? Can we go see them please please please?" He bounced around the soaked Ion. He hadn't intentionally sprayed the water all over him.

"Have a good nap my love." Ion said, before he was soaked by Illian. He gave the foal a flat, soggy look. "Yes you have uncles, too many uncles." he grinned. "Lets leave mum here to rest and go meet them, come along Gabrielle. Maybe we will see your chosen on the way."

Gabrielle: She watched Opal slow down panting. She wondered if her babies are on there way now. She was alittle worried but knew that Ion would take care of everything and everyone he concidered in his heard. She then saw Illian spray Ion with water from his excitement that mirrors her own at the prospect of meeting more Azrein. Then Ion started to talk and she looks at him in respect like she did to everyone. He said too many uncles. She wondered what that ment but smiles. "Excuse me Ion but ahh who are you talking about when you said 'chosen'? Ashia is not my chosen. She said I would know who it would be..." She talked as she walked away with Ion and Illain.

Illian ran around Ion as they left the canyon. "Do they like to play?"
Opal moved around quite uncomfortably. She got to her feet and started pacing. Many hours later she was finally peacefully sleeping. Beside her lay four healthy colts who were peacefully at rest also. The moon had long come up and sat above the new family.

"Im sorry, I just assumed she was your chosen." said Ion. "And yes I'm sure they would love to play with you Illy." Ion had a mischievous glint in his eye.
As they came upon the rest of his herd. Ion called for his brothers but both slackers seemed to be off with their significant others.
"Well guys I guess I will stay here for a while with you and then I will have to go check on Opal." Ion curled up under the tree and allowed the foals to lay down near him. "You will be safe here even with me gone."

Illian made a face then snuggled down against Gabby and Ion. He yawned then fell asleep.

After a while Ion stood and care fully removed himself from under the foals. He could sense something on the wind. He couldn't ignore it and he made his way back to the secluded canyon that held his mare.
"Opal?" he called as he made his way down the rocky trail, "Are you alright my love?"

Ion was answered with silence. Opal was sleeping heavily. She was wore out after birthing the four colts. Moonlight glistened off her white coat some distance away. Her body was shielding him from the sight of his children.

His brow furrowed with concern, Ion saw his mate and walked over to her. "Opal?" he whispered. Finally he cam close enough to see over her body. "Oh Opal, you had our children." He snuggled up to her back and draped his head over her neck so he could watch the blanketed foals. He was utterly fascinated but knew he had to keep quiet.He couldn't take his eyes of the babbins.
