BLASTED DICE! -FLIPS TABLE- female, medium build GhUl Leon was never more thankful than to get rid of the nauseating feeling after that minipet kangaroo moment. He however did not appreciate being thrown back into the pod to have some sexy lady. -ghoul- SHUT UP! sexy ghoul time in a rotting corpse. "Well, this stinks, literally." he grumbled out as he strutted about in his new body  yep.

Clerise was headed to Halloween. No more putting it off. And off. And off again. It was time to face the music, and the miss lady. With a minipet cage in tow, Clerise headed to the golems. The whole song and dance happened, and she woke up in a...rather strange body. At least she wasn't tiny. In fact, he was gargantuan. Because one, definitely no tits, or any innards at all, really. There was a glowing phylactery in his new chest, and a weird weight between, well. Yeah.The upside was some kicking rad wings, horns, and a tail. Snapping his new fingers, Clerise delicately picked up the minipet cage, and took the portal.  The figment, Mister Wobbles, did not fight much. Much. ILU 5 EVR [ rather large male undead - dracolith ] ((Just requoting this to say I'm using this b/c I never did before))

The labs were cold and sterile. He occasionally wished they were warmer, but hey, he didn’t have to work in the place. The infirmary was just at that right temp, nice but neither cool nor warm. Just right. Too bad for Marcus, he was in the more scientific areas, waiting for a Pod and Golem to be set up for him. The demon mark had remained, even after a few weeks. His hope that it would fade was a fool’s hope. One he’d given up on. The only way to have it removed was to complete the ‘contract’ with the demon. From the name on his a** that meant finding the freak Prinny and getting them to tell Marcus just what they wanted as ‘payment’ for the services rendered.
Sitting on a chair the lab tech came in giving him a perplexed look. Marcus shrugged, saying wordlessly that he was waiting. “So you’re the one needing a golem for Halloween today?”
“I am sir.” The tech was maybe a year older. Still he was the senior hunter. “What for again?” Marcus sighed, reciting the story he’d practiced. “I’m going to do some follow up with the weaponization project. Observation. With the last batch, we missed out on a few possible candidates.” The tech gave him an eye roll, working on what Marcus had been waiting for, the click and slight hiss of air as a pod opened up. Stepping in he sighed.
Back down the highway to hell.

Robert was really a little too excited about this mission. Firstly, they were being paid extra. Secondly, he loved festivals. Despite how horrible his golem had been last time he'd gone to one of these, he'd had a good time, sometimes. And thirdly, they were being paid extra. Besides, he was kind of looking forward to going to one of these in a body that wasn't tiny, broken, and easily punted around. So he hopped into one of the tubes, closed his eyes, and waited to see what fate had in store for him this time around. ...... When he woke up, it was clear fate had a wicked sense of humor. "OH COME ON!" Quote: Robert is a small male undead gnome. Again.

Ami hesitated as she looked at the pods for golems. Only a few days ago she was terrified this would be her deathbed. It wasn't easy to look at them.
Orders were orders. They needed to get minipets and Ami needed the money. Clothes weren't easy after all.
In she went.

The mission couldn't have come at a better time, and Melvin contacted Candace, asking her to meet him so she could take him to the golems. The minipets would be for the life labs, but it was also a good time to get a few pets of his own. Subjects to be used in his own projects aside from the incentive of a bonus to buy the shoes that Candace wanted in the first place. As a trainee, it was experience, but it also meant he could have a nice shopping spree come his first days when he was given leave - whenever that may be.
As it was, he waited for Candace until she showed up, and followed her to the golem holding pods where he took the pod beside her own and sat in. "I guess....I'll just see you when I wake up?" It was unsure, but it was explained that would be how it worked. Leaning back, the pod closed.

Candace wasn't sure about this. She really, really wasn't sure. The last golem had been nice in that it hid her voice. No one knew it was her until she ******** up. It was great! Would they keep making golems that way? She also remembered the last time they'd gone to a festival to catch minipets. As entertaining as it had been, Candace was worried. Her voice would be recognized if it wasn't altered, putting not only herself but everyone else in danger because if they knew she was around they could possibly figure out everyone else was around as well.
The students had proven they weren't as stupid as she had originally thought.
However, the promise of something nice and that they would see about getting her a golem with an altered voice finally won her over. Sigh.

A mission? Possible cash? A trip to Halloween and whispers of a festival? Sure. Sherry was sure she could handle that. Besides, it would be nice to get off of the island for a bit.
She was a bit anxious about what her golem would look like, though. You never knew.
