"I don't think so." Jane said and looked outside and said "Oh dear. Looks like Mark's old clients are back." She added covering ehr mouth. She then said "I'll be right back. I have to call Mark straight away. Don't answer the door for anyone." She sounded worried. Anna could sense how dangerous those people were and stays close to Shane gripping his shirt. "I'm scared Shane." SHe said and buried her face.

Shane sent Anna up stairs, "Go to my room, I don't want you down here with them." As soon as she was upstairs he locked the front door. He hated doing this but his new mom made sure he remembered this.

Anna hugs Shane's jacket since she didn't have her stuffed horse to help her feel better. After calling her husband, and he told her not to open the door at all and that he would be there asap, Jane goes upstairs with Shane and said they had to be quiet until Mark was home. SHe holds Anna since she was shaking too scared to move. She holds her close and pets her head trying to help her calm down.

Shane moved to them and he put one arm around them both. He loved them both a lot and he wanted them safe.

Suddenly Mark could be heard outside yelling at the men holding a gun defending his family. Anna started to cry when she heard gun shots from Mark outside. She buries her face in Jade's shoulder and Jade said "Shhhh it's okay. " She holds Anna close and pets her head. She even started to hum a lullaby to help calm Anna down. Anna was shaking and tense. But as Jade hummed the lullaby she started to calm down. She wraps her arms around Jade and didn't want to move. She sniffles and Jade said "See it's all over now.Mark made those bad men go away. All he did was shoot in the air. It always sends them running."

Shane rubbed one hand along Anna's back and he said, "He wont hurt anyone." He looked up to Jade and his eyes narrowed then he said, "You might wanna go unlock the front door."

Jade nods and hands Anna to Shane. Once she left Anna hugs Shane and said "That was scary Shane." She then crawls into his lap and hugs him trying to calm down.

Shane smiled and he hugged Anna. He wouldn't tell but he loved his new mother, and his little sister Anna a lot. He remembered one night when Mark had to work late and Fade needed help and he did it.

Anna then calms down after a few minutes and she snuggles her head under Shane's. She loved Shand very much and wished he would come back.

Shane waited for her to calm then he said, "Anna, I will be visiting you and Rose and even mother when I can. Just give me some time and I will fix things to where I can come."

Ana nods and said "Just promise me you'll do your best to come see me. When idn't call or anything last month I was heartbroken and thought you didn't love us anymore." She then buries her face but didn't cry. She grips his shirt and listens to his heartbeat and smiles glad he was with her right now.

Shane smiled and he kissed her head. He rocked her slightly then he asked, "When can I take you home?"

"I want to stay with you Shane." Anna said and snuggles agaisnt him. She didn't want to be serpated from her big brother.

Shane growled softly, "What about Rose and your mother? My new parents will be having two kids soon and they need my help." He moved Anna to one leg so he could see her face.

"I want to be with them but I want to be with you SHane. I don't like when your not around. Even with Rose I don'tfeel happy without you." She said and hugged him laying her head on his shoulder and started to fall asleep.
