Something was definitely fishy about all this. The space, the rainbow, the floating castles, the pretty blonde kissing him. A cheerleader at that, apparently. Yes, something was up.
Those squirrels were good.
Darwin just stood there, not sure what to do while Raven kissed him. When she at last pulled away, he looked at her, then her friend, then finally at Jett.
“ Why would we invite you?” After all, Jett didn’t seem very nice.
Looking down at Mary, Darwin immediately lost interest in Jett as he showed his teeth for inspection," Did it work?" It would be a nice, if weird bonus.

Anders was beginning to wonder if he was going to have to step in and prevent Hawke from beating their rival up. Anders wasn't too worried over whether Natalia was trying to invade their park on their night. They would have promptly given her and her group of lackeys the boot. He and Hawke were unbeatable, never mind that Anders had a pretty sturdy staff to bap people with. This was why he liked DA2 staffs so much more. They had pointy things on the end of them.
"I'm Anders right now. We'll see how this trip through the Fade goes, and if I start going Justice on you, hit me." It was the only time Hawke was allowed to hit him, but then again he really didn't mean hit. He just meant that Hawke should tell him to cool his head. "Hey now!" He had enough dignity in being a mage to stand up for himself. "I am not a p***y, Hawke. You know I've saved your a** from two ogres and a high dragon." How dare Hawke underestimate her companion. Long-range attacks were just as good as short-range.
And he healed. That's all he was good for, sometimes. Just the heals.

Cleaning his teeth?
Mary's words rang in Raven's head, along with Molly's cries of outrage and Jett's sarcastic...jerky-ness.
Oh god. What the hell had she just done? She kissed a nerd. A complete and total bushy eyed, creeper nerd!
...And it wasn't that horrible.
NO! She resisted the urge to rub at her lips, choosing instead to wrap an arm around Darwin's waist. "Yeah, Jett. Why would we invite you? You aren't being very nice to me and my one true love."
What did she expect? For Jett to be jealous? For him to pick Darwin up, throw him off the edge of the rainbow, then grab her in a kiss full of love, desire, passion and need?
...Did she expect that? Hell no.
...She just wanted it. A lot.

"Oh right... sorry I had just finished telling a story to a group of kids when I got yanked away." She probably realized he didn't even know who she was at the moment, "Alice, Alice Bela Kiss, I'd asked you to call me Bela and my cat was Beowulf..." she paused pondering how weird that now sounded. Oh well.
Bela paused when Steven edged closer to her, granted that wasn't anything new. "Worse case scenario he'll think you're a one of those RA in Trainings. Don't worry I got your back if you need it." Of course now wasn't the time for having her head in the clouds since she actually had to focus. She smiled softly.
She paused when he asked if she knew what was going on. "Well... I don't know what's going on but I do have my assumptions. Which are a little more.... uh.... founded, than some of what's already been passed around..." She paused, "I honestly think we're stuck in a Norse myth. They had a rainbow road... well rainbow bridge.... sorry. My best guest would be one way is towards Asgard, the other towards..... uhhh somewhere either at or below the middle land. If I remember my Norse stories right." She paused, "I do too many period story tellings. Maybe I should cull my profession..."

Oh, fantastic, what Jett really wanted. A mouthy crybaby, a liplocking liar, a big browed nerd, and a floor hugging creep. Cool. Jett could not be any more pissed at how tonight was turning out.
No, after a long day of work, maybe he’d have fallen asleep in bed with the television on and slept in until noon. So much for relaxing.
Amusing, however. That was another story.
“Adorable,” he cooed, rather amused by Darwin’s reaction. “It’s too bad, though,” he sighed, seeming almost sympathetic after Raven spoke. He reached behind his neck and scratched as though he were deep in thought. “…I was actually really happy to see you here, Raven. I’ve been busy with college, so I haven’t had much time to visit. I was pretty excited to see you over here. But,” he gestured to Darwin again. “I guess if you’re busy I can head out and see who else I can go, what was the term you used? Oh, bug. Nice to meet you,” he said, holding out a hand. He’d never gotten the male’s name and really didn’t care to. He glanced over his shoulder at Molly. “Hope you can go back to trying on dresses soon. I guess, whenever we get out of here…give me a call some time, Raven? I’d love to get in contact again. If you’re not too busy with your other friends,” he added, lips slightly pursed.

No. No. No. No. No. This was not happening. No happening at all. She was surround by them. Nerds. The girl. Mary. The boy. Darwin. And now....her Best friend? No no this was not true. this was a lie a lie made by a horrible person that was playing with her head. "Ok this is how it's going to work. Got it Nerds and Raven." She said pausing. She pointed to Darwin. "I don't know what you are, or why you're here, or what brain wash you're using on Raven but just stop it, okay? It's funny."" said pausing again only to point at Mary. "And you just stop being so weird. Of carouse they weren't cleaning their teeth. Are you mad?" she said pausing for the last time. "And Raven what happen to you? Are you just going to just lip lock with every boy you see? Should I start doing that! Come on, we could get like nerd germs or something. What would your team mate say about this! They wouldn't like it at all!!" she finish and huffed.

Blinking wide eyes at the man next to her, she watched his facial expressions before he calmly told her this was not the place for such antics. Then it hit her that he was also the loud voice that had just claimed to be a cop. Smiling as brightly as she could at Gilbert she winked a denim blue eye at him and waved a hand around them. "Aren't we all a little intoxicated just now, sugar?" Blond braids flopped about on her back as she looked over the group.
Boy, but they were all young looking.

Mary blinked as Darwin asked her if it worked. She checked his teeth and nodded. "I think if anything was in there, it's gone now. Arga... Mary, by the way, but most people know me as Arga, or Argabauth," she said to him (and pretty much the rest of the group). In gryphon terms she'd probably rub beaks to signify a new aquaintice.
But she had no beak, and she wasn't a gryphon, just in spirit.
Or so she kept telling herself.
She ignored Raven and Jett for the most part; they seemed to have an odd thingy between them and she really didn't want to loose feathers over it. Molly however, she frowned at. Argabauth's muse took over and she smacked the girl upside the head with her palm.
"Stop being a bossy twit! You're not the leader of the group here. If anything, girl wrapped around boy here is. Quiet," she said with a frown again. No one insulted the Wing Leader. Ever.

Breathe in, breathe out. Marienrode’s words and touch were helping Sheila adjust, grounding her and preventing her from taking off and running in a blind panic. There was no telling what was out here, or even who was out here. Sheila took a deep, shuddering breath to steady herself. “I--I think I can,” she answered, using the heels of her palms to rub at her eyes. Calm down. Calm down, come on, Sheila, you can do this, she told herself, wiping her hands on the dark pinkish-red skirt that was part of the St. Magdalena’s Seminary uniform. The werewolf - no, teacher she corrected. Werewolf-teacher? That would work. She said it was a dream. Couldn’t she treat it like that? Sheila was standing on a rainbow road in space with a werewolf-teacher and a crowd of other people. The werewolf-teacher said she could stay here, and that she didn’t need to talk to talk to everyone. Sheila reached up and took the offered hands, rising up and absently brushing the backside of her skirt before timidly stepping closer to Marienrode for protection. It seemed that the werewolf-teacher now had a follower, even if in Sheila’s mind she insisted that she was now a sidekick. “O-okay,” Sheila sniffed. “Why is the center so important? And where would it be?” Her hand briefly moved out in a not-very-grand short sweep of the road they were on. “Are we better off in the middle of the group than the edges? Wouldn't it be harder to r-run?"

Darwin stared at the arm (Raven's) around his waist like one might stare at a python. He was sure this was a bad sign. Absolutely positive. Cheerleader-types didn’t touch him unless it was to shove him out of the way.
When Jett offered him a hand to shake, Darwin had something else to stare at. He reluctantly took it, shook it, and said, “ Not-so-nice to meet you.”
There was a girl screeching at him, making Darwin frown. The girl on the floor reacted before he could though, smacking her upside her head. Well. So now the cheerleader-types were the ones getting smacked? That was a nice change. Shrugging at Molly and resuming his happy-ignoring of Jett, Darwin refocused on Mary.
“ I’m Darwin. Nice head-smack.”
And Darwin was starting to get a headache. He wanted his Pokemon game back, but he supposed Mary would have to do.

Gilbert sighed, scrubbing a hand down the length of his face as he did. Yeah, this was all going to hell in a handbasket pretty quickly. Whether or not there was truth to what he said, he addressed the woman next to him in a calm, firm voice as he said, "No, we are not. Fact is, no one's sure exactly what's going on here. For now, I need you to be calm and quiet, please."
Leveling his gaze across the group, not failing to notice that tiny groups of unrest were beginning to form all around him, he cupped his hands around his mouth again and shouted, "Calm down and be quiet!"
A pair of familiar faces caught his eye and he scowled, recognizing the pains in the asses that hung out in the park all the time. Anders or something? He couldn't really remember, just that he wanted to grab their heads and slam them together from time to time to see if any sense would rattle its way in.
Of all the people in Destiny City, they had to be a couple of the ones kidnapped en masse. ******** figured.
"Are there any doctors, nurses, police officers, or other emergency personnel present?" He shouted it again, hoping that someone would step forward -- if not, it was up to him to... well, ********. Organize the masses. Or something.

There was a sudden groan as a pale hand rose from the prone figure of a girl still sprawled along the glowing road. Groping first at the ground below her before lifting to press against closed eyes and slightly throbbing temples. Not yet a headache, but there was the very real promise of one threatening to build just above the pinched bridge of Felicia's nose. The very first thought that entered her head was curiosity over her unexpectedly horizontal position. The second, as hazel eyes slowly peeked open to stare up at the blanket of darkness and stars above her, was how the hell she'd ended up outside when her last memories had her sitting at her laptop in her room.
Sitting up, she quickly discovered that these were terribly inadequate things to be pondering..
There was a brief moment of disbelief followed closely by curiosity and something very similar to panic. Nothing she was seeing made any sort of sense. Not the glowing road, nor the floating spires in the distance, and certainly not the fifty other people that seemed to milling about conversing or bickering. And.. Kissing?
"What the hell." It was more statement then question as the girl got to her feet. She was dreaming, that had to be it. Everything was just far too surreal to be anything but a fabrication of her mind. "Just a dream," she mused to herself, smoothing hands down her shirt. Wandering aimlessly down the rainbow path. "A really ******** up dream." Really really.. really ******** up..

Ohh...He was good. Raven sighed, listening to Jett's speech. "Yeah, yeah. Well--" the blonde broke off when she saw the girl--Mary? is that what she said? Or did she say Agrabuh? Well, it didn't matter, she slapped Molly, that's what mattered.
She couldn't help it. The sound of hand against face made a giggle bubble from Raven's throat. Quickly, the girl pretened to cough, then forced herself to look concerned for Molly, though only a little.
"You did deserve that, you know. I'm allowed to date whoever I want to, and if I want to date--" Aha! Darwin! That's what his name was! What a lucky break. "..Darwin, then I will."
She glanced to the nerd, flashing a cheerleader smile. "Isn't that right, babe?"
Dig that hole, Raven. Dig it deeper and deeper.
You idiot.

Molly was about to speak once again until she felt a sharp pain to her cheek. Her jaw drop and her palm reach over to where the pain was coming from. Did she really just get smack by a nerd.....a nerd and not just a dorky, homework nerd but a full blow weird nerd. She open her mother to speak but close it. She was enrage and grew with every second. She pick up her hand and slapped the girl back. Eyeing her like a tiger eyes it prey. Her teeth was clench as she spoke, "Don't you ever touch me again."
She had enough. She was done. She was walking away from this pile of nerds. Not only was she hurt but angry. She walk and look for the nearest person. "Does anyone know how to get out of this place?? I need to leave. Everything is turning upside down and I just can't take it anymore." She had given up on Raven. There was no turning back now.

Jarold Rivera lifted up his phone to take a picture when he noticed a grumpy looking woman pinching herself to confirm if this was a dream or not. 'Doesn't seem like a dream.' He brought up his notes again, typing away furiously. 'Not very surprising, after you've grown used to deformed monsters attacking the city every so often. Could this their hideout? Well, why would they even bring us here?' So many convoluted thoughts, and he liked it. This was a mystery, and it was going to be fun to get to the bottom of this. Imagine the headlines when he got an article on this out!
"How intriguing." He murmured, and then flashed the woman a smile. "Long day at work, huh?" On the other hand, he enjoyed his work, relished it, even. It was pretty much his whole life.
