Darius moved to pull the seat out for Rose. After she was seated he pushed it in for her and took a seat himself. He placed his napkin on his lap and looked at the food set before him, wondering what he was going to sample first. He also wondered where Rose's parents were because he had yet to meet them. His parents were the ones that had arranged the meeting with their daughter.

Darius removed the napkin from his lap and stood respectfully when Rose's parents entered the room. Her father motioned for Darius to sit and he bowed before obeying. "I want to thank you both for having me today," Darius said after Rose's parents had taken their seats.
