"It's one of those love-hate things," He smiled.
He opened his eyes and stared into her. The colors always brought a smile to his face. They were his two favorite colors, ironically, and he loved to just look at them. Of course, her gaze always got him even more riled up. The predatory look just... it did something for him.
"Like how I love to fight you..." He kissed her between the phrases, filled with a passion for her. His heart beating wildly. "...but hate to lose."

"You always spare me my death," He said with a smile. "If we went by the rules, I'd have to die due to the shame of my defeat."
He laughed, "at least, that were the rules my family went by. I didn't like them all that much."
He sighed and got quiet again. "Kei... what about your romance? Your history? Surely.. I'm not your first love?" He blushed. It felt selfish to say that he was her love at all. Almost as if he felt he didn't deserve the title.

"I did have one other love once...his name was Hotsuma.... I met him when I was working with the Choshu rebels in Japan durnig the Meiji Resoration." She sighed softly, recalling those days when they'd fight alongside each other, and compete for assassination jobs.

He smiled, glad he could finally hear something of her past.
"You make me feel so young." He rubbed his cheek against hers, much like something a cat would do. He whispered into her ear, "You're right. I like it." Then, he gave her a light kiss on the neck.

"You are. Technically." She giggled gently, scrunching up her neck when Bolt kissed her. She loved being kissed on the neck, but it still tickled her when she wasn't used to it. It hadn't happene din so long, she'd forgotten what it felt like.

He breathed in deeply, the smell of her body filling his very essence. He made a quiet sound and moved closer to her, if that were possible. His right arm went around her waist, that hand on her back. The left arm went behind her back, that hand to her hair, playing with it. He loved playing with her har.
After Bolt scooted closer, he traced her facial markings with his finger. He didn't say anything for a minute, enjoying the look she gave him. Once again, her eyes had a mystical effect on him.
Strangely enough, he didn't kiss her on the lips. Instead, he nuzzled up to her, his face next to her neck. He enjoyed being there, it made him all tingly inside. As he breathed, she would be able to feel his warm breath on the right of her neck. If he spoke, she would hear him clearly. However, he didn't speak, but breathed calmly and gently. He felt her heartbeat, and he wondered if she could feel his.

With a gentle sigh, Keioko hugged him close, nuzzling him in return. She was already quite the feline character on her own, now Bolt was acting it up. She smiled at this thoughts and closed her eyes, her sensitive ears catching the faint, yet strong beats of Bolt's heart, almost able to feel the burning passion within each thump.

((I'm sorry I was late.. we were flying a kite and got caught in the rain. It wasn't bad at first.. but then.. it got worst. Because I was so late.. we'll postpone this for another night(s).))
Bolt closed his eyes, taking in the moment. She was so warm, and he loved that. He recalled a kitten he had when he was young. It used to sleep on his chest when he took a nap. He loved that cat, until it died due to a stray dog.
Then it hit him. If Kei can't die.. and he died due to old age... no matter how long of a wait...
"Are you immortal Kei? Can you die due to old age? My brother told me Ankaa can only be reborn so many times. SO if I can die and you can not, then that means..."
He had wondered... if she were to die first, he wouldn't be able to go on living. He lost one love already... a second death would be devistating. But he also knew that if she lived and he'd die, he'd not want to subject her to that pain.
Lifting himself up he said quietly, "I'm afraid... I'm afraid of the future."

She sat up with him, looking at him sadly.
"Yes, I am immortal, if dying by old age classifies so. I cannot die from old age. But then earlier, you stated that we'll both have thousands of years together... I don't want to think of that kind of future..."

"Yeah... but that means it will end eventually. I am not immortal, just... I just have a long life." He sighed, and turned to her, the water distorting his blue eyes.
"I want to be with you forever," Then, he smiled, "Although, I have to admit, a couple thousand years with the one you love is better then being immortal, sad, and lonely." He was moody. As he leaned over he gave her a final kiss, holding he chin with a careful hand. This one was odd, it was soft yet passionate, as if he wanted to revel in her presence. She was remarkable, and he missed not being able to be with her as much as he wanted to.
Bolt stood up and smiled at her, "I'm going back to the party. Would you like to come, my love?" He offered a hand to help her up, liking the fact that he called her his love. It had a nice ring to it.

As the pair stood there beneath the stars, bare centimeters separating them, a streamer of fire shot into the sky before bursting into a bloom of colored flame; red and white and pink fireworks.
She turned her head in the direction of the fireworks, smiling at the display.
Now if there's one thing that Kagi Vayun was, it was opportunistic. And he had just spotted an opportunity. With a dexterity that put his grace at handling his lightsaber to shame, he gently slid the promise ring off of her left ring finger.
Of course, there was very little that he could say or do without her catching him. She looked back toward him, raising an eyebrow curiously.
Grinning ruefully, he winked at her, then slipped his right hand into a pocket in his suit. It came out a moment later holding an entirely different ring, this one two metal bands intwined around one another, holding a corusca fire gem at their apex. He silently slid the ring onto her finger, where the promise ring had been. It was a perfect fit.
Her eyes widened, both from the beauty of the corusca gem and when she realized exactly what he was doing. Kagi...
Then he slid his own hand back behind her back, holding her close to him as he leaned forward and gently kissed her. After a moment, he pulled back slightly, their lips still in the slightest contact.

For the first time since Manaan, she found herself conflicted with a number of various reactions and did not know which to go with. She knew he would eventually ask this, but she was not expecting it to be now. She wanted to cry, to scream in happiness, to do any number of other things, some of them not fit for mention in polite company. Finally, she settled for trying to force words past her emotion-choked throat.
I...Kagi, you...yes, by the Force, yes.
He smiled, the tender and loving smile that only she ever saw, and removed that half-centimeter, kissing her again, deeper this time, as tears of joy streamed down her face and the fireworks burst in the sky above them.

Keioko looked up at Bolt and smiled gently, taking his hand. She stood and wrapped an arm around his waist, leaning into him briefly.
"Yes, I think that would be an excellent idea.. my love." She giggled gently, a soft blush gracing her pale cheeks, pure happiness and nothing else shown on her delicate features.
