Savannah felt like it was a dare, and having had grown up with so many siblings, dares became a way to test just how brave you were, and she wasn't willing to back down to this one. "I think I'll be just fine." She said looking back at the oh so infuriating vampire.
She watched as the only other human in the room left, and suddenly she was surrounded. "So how many non-human species are there?"

Symphony made it home in just a few minutes. Her daughter was still harassing her husband. "Cadence, I thought you had locked yourself in your room?"
"Where did you go?" She asked giving her mother an accusing look.
"Not that it matters, but I went to the store and had to make a pit stop at an uncles house." Symphony was walking to Ricky, "Hey love, didn't get any sleep?"
Cadence laughed. "You said none of your family has ever been to America! Let alone live here." The girl looked triumphant.
"Go to bed, your father an I need some alone time." She threw her arms around his neck and snuggled in for a hug.

"How many have you ever heard of?" Kitty began, she took a seat on a chair in the Headmaster's apartment, "There's at least four hundred more than that." She glanced around, "Your place is dark, Kasey."
The headmaster replied wordlessly with a simple raise of his eyebrows. With that he walked from his living room to his kitchen and proceeded to grab himself a wine glass and a bottle from the freezer. Of course wine would be stored at room temperature, and in the freezer he kept human blood, but as soon as he removed the cork, D.T. was beside him. He turned to the side to find he couldn't move without shoving her out of his way, "Hello."
"Hey. You gonna share? D.T. Was looking only at the bottle. Her brother had a habit of only having the best.
"Yeah sure. Micah! Want any?"
"No thanks." The blue-haired woman entered to take a seat on an open chair in the living room, "D can have my share."
"You heard her!" The Englishwoman was holding her own glass now, "Fill 'er up."
Kasey rolled his eyes and poured his own glass first, "You're ridiculous." He knew better than to hand her the bottle when he was done, too. So he poured her a glass himself before storing the bottle once more.
"You're not going to offer any to the humans?" Kitty cocked a brow in Kasey direction, having just taken out her phone to begin playing with. It was then that she looked around to see that there was only one human left, as Jesse had vanished, "Oh. Human."

Ricky just put his hands up, knowing better than to touch that one. His wife never wanted to talk about her family. He wanted sleep now, as that was his initial goal. "Goodnight, ladies."

Savannah couldn't begin to imagine just how many non-human creatures there were out there. But she had seen quite a few when they were all in the gym. Savannah took one more empty seat. Her head felt like it was spinning. "I thought vampires could only drink blood?" She asked no one in particular, since everyone else knew more then her about this anyways.

Symphony gave her daughter a dangerous look. "Go to bed." She tailed after her husband fully intending to get what she wanted before he crashed for the night. Though she knew if he was too tired she would be out of luck. "Thank you babe."
Cadence went to her room without another word. Her ride would be there to pick her up soon, and she would just slip out the window, like all the other times.

Micah was the closest, and the not-dickiest, so she gave the girl a reply, "Well, not blood alone, they can drink anything really, but blood sustains their life. "Right D?"
The woman had put her glass into the microwave and was waiting for it to finish heating when she heard her name, "Yeah right." She opened the door before the timer was done and put her face to the inside, "It's better warm."
Kasey was already drinking his as he muttered, something about it being to warm outside for a cold drink.
D.T. gave him an almost disturbed looking sideways glance and rolled her eyes, "You've gotten used to Cafeteria food, Brother. It's never good for you."
"It represses the need for homicide, I expect you should try it out, you little psycho. Or should that perhaps be Harlot?"
"I'm no harlot." D.T. took her glass out of the microwave and swirled the thick red liquid around for a bit before she turned to face the collection of people in the living room, "If I lure men into dark alleys, I'm not going to do anything with them." She smiled and began sipping her drink.
Kasey just sighed, "Oh killing them doesn't count?"
"You don't kill with someone, Hippie. You should know that."
"Don't call me that."
"Should it be Dr. Kasey? I certainly can't. I'll be addressing myself at the same time." She shook her head, "That wouldn't be very proper." She turned to Savannah, "What name did you call him by, darling? When he was ******** you?"
"Ignore her, please." Micah began with a sigh, "She's always this vulgar and uncomfortable to deal with."

Ricky was waiting at the door, certainly not in bed, smiling like a fool at the woman, "She's going to sneak out. She's going to try it, and I'm gonna beat her a**." He handed her his phone with a text message displayed that said something about picking 'you' up in a bit. "Friend rigged it for me. The lighting guy. Really good with technology. Like weirdly good. Anyway, rigged it so all of her texts come through my phone. Cool right?"

Savannah was listening, fascinated. "I thought a vampire got blood by sucking it out of someone." She said watching as the girl warmed up her drink, by it's thickness Savannah knew it had to be more then just wine.
It was odd. Savannah had never actually asked his first name. And the fact that she didn't know it made her all the more embarrassed. Her parents would be so ashamed if they found out. "Er, um. Kasey?" She said dropping her eyes to the floor, like hell she was going to look anyone in the eyes. Why had she even bothered to answer?

Symphony read over the texts a couple of times, making sure she had it right. "Wait, lighting guy?" Her heart hammered nervously in her chest. There was no way he could mean Zeus, he hadn't even met the guy. But still she was worried and scared. If he showed up that only meant he was hear to take her and her family out.
Getting ready, Cadence started to put on some makeup. She wanted to look good. After all her boyfriend was going to pick her up.

D.T. nearly died laughing, which couldn't have been good for Savannah's self-esteem. She had to put her glass down to keep from spilling it all over the floor as she laughed.
Micah rolled her eyes and leaned toward Savannah, "Ignore her."
Kasey gave his sister an odd sideways glance, "That's cute, D.T. but you know Kasey is the only name I give out."
"Yeah but it's not the only name you have." D.T. looked sly, like she might let a secret slip.
Kasey simply stood, faced Micah and pointed to the woman beside him, "Do you see this? Can you control it please?"
"Of course. Down D.T., down girl. Come sit."
"Yay!" The female vampire sprung across the room and leapt onto Micah's lap, "I win!"
It was Kasey's turn to roll his eyes, "And I thought Reno was immature." He drank the last of the contents of his wine glass before he placed it by the sink and entered the living room, taking an open seat beside the extraterrestrial, "To answer your question Savannah, yes, generally it's the best place for it, but as homicide is against the law, it's frowned upon in our society as well." he turned to Kitty and made a face, "Are you always going to be this color?"
Kitty was still looking at her phone but she shook her head, "No. I was afraid to scare the human again. I mean, no one's in a car this time, but still."

"Yeah, techie, follows us to all of the shows. Lighting guy. He's good, too. Anyway, oh what's his name, eh I forgot, he's foreign. Whatever. Anyhow, I figured I'd get the shotgun, eh?" Ricky laughed to himself and made his way to the closet. "I might invite the guy over to dinner, he's my new hero."

All the more embarrassed Savannah sighed before glancing up to look at Kitty one more time. "It's fine, I wont freak out this time. I promise." She had to change the subject off of vampires, cause some how someone always found a way to point out her and Kasey had screwed. It didn't seem to bother him, but it was driving her to want to commit suicide. "So Kitty," Savannah said finally looking back up and intending to keep up. "what planet do you come from?"

Bengali looked over from her chair to see Alvin snacking on what had to be his sixth slice of pizza. "Hey guys I am gonna head home." She said standing. Not that the movie was over, just she had already seen it a few times and was tired.
"Alright see ya." Alvin said his eyes still glued to the TV before him.

Symphony sighed, she had miss heard him. "Oh, right." She followed her husband to their closet. "You could get in trouble waving that around outside." She smiled. "So you better wait till he is actually in our yard, then it becomes self defense."
Cadence grabbed her phone as it vibrated on her dresser. She had a text. "Here. Want me to come get you?" She giggled. She would like it if he came and help her out her window.
"Yeah. hurry." She sent back already listening to see if her parents were up and about. What she didn't know, was her mother used her powers almost daily to block out the noises from their bedroom.

"Saturn." Kitty looked up and gave the human a weird look, "jk, I'm like light years away." She laughed, and proceeded to reveal her natural color again, she wasn't fully green before she started up again. "26.7 million light years to be exact. Although, I don't like how your scientists still measure in 'light years'" she scoffed, "You think I was driving fast? Try piloting a space ship at what your nerd population would call 'warp speed' actually, it's essentially the right concept, but I assume their measurements would be way off. Don't get me wrong, your species is getting there, but I think they sent a radio signal to Grafka, recently, you guys call their star Gliese 581. It's cute, but they'll probably ignore it. They're not much for research into the primitive. My people think it's cute though. And personally, I find you lot fascinating. I mean, studying you has helped us understand a lot about ourselves before our big awakening. Of course, that only came after big death." She made a contemplative face before she shrugged and smiled, "Either way it's cute. Speaking of cute can I get a what what on that cop from earlier? Like seriously, cops aren't supposed to be hot."
Kasey looked at the woman beside him, "I hope you don't lecture like that. You'll lose the class in the course of a minute or two. And disturb them."
"Lecture like what?" Kitty looked genuinely confused as she stared back at the headmaster, "What?" She ignored him and turned to the two women on the chair, "So, I don't believe I know yet who you two are."
Micah looked over at her, "Oh we came to visit Kasey because he doesn't have any friends."
Kasey feigned being touched by the gesture, even putting his hand to his chest, "My god, you're so sweet. What would I do without you?"
"He pretends he doesn't care, but he cries himself to sleep every night, wishing we'd come back." D.T. shook her head, "It's shameful really, on the family and the race."'
Kasey simply took another opportunity to roll his eyes.

"Boo you whore." Gabby didn't look away from the television as he "complained" about her leaving, "Bye."

Ricky's phone went off at the same time his daughter's did. He smiled, "Look at that. He's here to pick me up." He tucked his phone away and walked over to their window which lead onto the roof. He glanced through it to see the car and sighed, "Alright, I'm going out the back if I'm not gonna be seen." The bathroom in their room had the only other window and it was small, but it lead out toward the back of the house. Opening it, Ricky climbed out and onto the roof, only to leap off and into the back yard. He didn't know why he always felt so young, but it made him rather reckless. And he was OK with that."

Savannah listened dumb struck by what Kitty was saying. "Wow." She listened fully to what the women said, and contemplated on it for a little wile. She would have commented if the subject hadn't changed back to Kasey. Damn.
"That's really sweet though, coming to visit a family member. Most of my siblings are the same way, though my two younger ones only show up when they have no where to go and need a place to stay before they leave town again."

Alvin reached for his seventh slice of pizza. "I told you this movie was good." He said munching out.

Symphony stuck her head out the window to give an angry whisper at her husband. "Don't do that! You'll break a leg!" Maybe she should tone down his youth, but then again if she did that he would age some more. Something she wanted to prevent. And she was worried about his smoking habits, those could be the death of him.
Cadence met her boyfriend at her window. "Hey hot stuff." She said waving as he came up the side of the lawn.
He smiled and waved back. "So you're parents are cool with you coming out right?" He asked looking around as he got closer.
"Yeah of course." Cadence said opening her window all the way.
The boy sighed "So why are you sneaking out then?" He asked.

"Reno." Kasey said as a reply to what Savannah said about her freeloading siblings.
D.T. agreed, looking up, "Reno."
"That's the other brother." Micah translated for the rest of the room.
"Sounds like you really like him."Kitty laughed. She then tapped at her phone for a few long moments before she sighed and spoke again, "Is it bad that I just want to go speeding around to see him again? I mean it's pretty stupid right? I'm hot, but he's probably not still thinking about me."

"You're a fatass." Gabby scoffed, having stopped after his second slice, "How are you not sick as s**t?"

"Did it ever occur to you," Rikcy had spotted the boy approaching in the yard and snuck up behind him just as he reached Cadence's window, "that she was lying?"

Savannah looked at Kitty. "He could be off work by now. And I hate to say it, you probably wont get pulled over by him again." She said looking back to the blue haired women. "My little sister is the worst. She models so when she has off so goes and mooches off who ever lives the closest till she gets a new contract." Savannah sighed and felt a small tug at her heart. Bad memories for sure. "She usually ends up with me."

Alvin shrugged. "I don't eat very often, so when I do eat I eat alot. Used to eat alot of vegetables and what not."

The young boy froze and turned to meet her father. "Yeah actually, just now."
"Daddy!" Cadence practically screamed. "Go away!" She was tempted to slam the window on her father, but that would mean on her boyfriend to.

"Doesn't sound like you care too much for your sister." Kasey noted aloud, ignoring Kitty. He wasn't going to get involved in her love problems or her breaking the law.
"Go for it, b***h. Love don't wait." D.T., unlike her brother, loved to encourage people to be reckless, "Neither does lust of course. Plus you sexy, you could get him all over that."
Micah ignored D.T. again as well, but replied to Savannah, "Sounds like a pain in the a** if you ask me."
She then went to turn and tell Kitty that it probably wasn't a good idea to go speeding for a guy's attention, but as she did, she saw the woman was already out of the room.

"That's bad for you. It's gonna go straight to your thighs."

"I don't think she told you, but she's not allowed to leave tonight." Ricky stared down the boy in attempts to make him as uncomfortable as possible, "Or ever, without my permission."

Kitty opted out of speeding again, he had told her she wouldn't get away with it again, instead she stopped to pick up take out and luckily had a radar detector so the officer was pretty easy to find. As a natural chameleon, Kitty didn't have to try very hard to sneak up on him, even if it was by accident. So she may have easily taken him by surprise when she knocked on the passenger side window.

Savannah barely had time to blink before Kitty was gone. "Um, no I love my sister." She said turning back to Kasey. "She can just be a handful, and when I." She paused and sighed. No she wouldn't get into that right now. "No she is just a handful."

Alvin sat back on the couch and finally pulled his eyes off the TV. "I don't have weight change problems. I stay the same no matter what."

The trick worked and the boy fidgeted. "Um Oh." He could only guess the last few times he had picked her up she hadn't been aloud out then to. "So um I'll just be going then."
Cadence glared at her father. "No you can come in!" She said reaching out and holding onto her boyfriends shirt.

Nick had been tracking something on his computer. He jumped slightly when he heard the knock, his head shooting over to see the women with the crazy sister. Hitting the button on his door to roll down the window he looked at her "Can I help you?"

"That's nice." Gabby kept his eyes glued on the television, "I don't really care though. I'm sorry if that disappoints you." He kicked off his shoes and pulled his legs up to tuck underneath him. He then sighed, "I want ice cream."

"You have three seconds to let him go and close your window before you're grounded for the next year." Ricky threatened. It wasn't a bluff either. A father never joked about keeping boys away from his daughter.

Kitty held up the paper bags of food and smiled, "I thought you might be lonely? How about I join you for dinner? It's Chinese."

Savannah smiled. "My older sisters are great, I will keep them, but you can have my younger one, free of charge. I'll even deliver her." Savannah was beginning to think the two women were lovers, or maybe just more then friends. Either way. They defiantly had something going on.

Alvin smirked. "I don't really care." he tossed Gabby's own words back at him. "I know you can go get it like the big grown adult you are."

Cadence stared her father down. As if she might call his bluff. But she wasn't ready to spend a whole year grounded. Not that is mattered she would be going to boarding school. "Fine." She said pouting. "Bye babe." Cadence leaned out again to give the boy a peck on the cheek.
The boy laughed nervously and watched her father. "See ya." He made a break for it.

Nick gave her a odd look. "Well miss. He said closing down his computer. "I am not sure how you found me. But it is a rule I can't have anyone in the passenger's seat."
