Sky nodded in agreement. She was sure that it was easy in some ways because she could just talk about what she really liked. "I could never handle being a teacher. There would be too many students who would annoy me to now end and I would need to crack my knuckles a few times. That said I would also want to forgive my own teachers for being such a brat. I really was a terrible student."

Chuckling in response to Sky's very honest statement, the teacher shook his head. "Oh, I've had to crack my knuckles more than once. When they finally figure out you aren't worth messing with, they get easier to deal with." he told her, relaxing in his booth seat. A waitress came by to drop off their menus before moving off once more. Picking up his menu, the redhead scanned the selection. "I sincerely doubt you were that bad." he told her, flipping a page in the menu. He already knew what he would probably end up getting, but it wouldn't hurt to look.

This was Sky's first time at the restaurant so she opened her menu. "Lair. You know I was a bad student." She said with a giggle. She wanted to show it was okay if he said it. It wasn't going to hurt her feelings and that it would help her relax a bit over what happened. Her eyes looked at the page and went right to the Florentine beefsteak. It wasn't lady like but she didn't care she wanted it. "I think the beefsteak is calling my name." She commented with a chuckle.

Flashing the girl a grin, the redhead shook his head and gave a slight shrug. "How would I know? You never took any of my classes." the teacher pointed out, scanning the menu in front of him. Flipping through it casually, he glanced up and grinned at her. "Now why am I not surprised....?" he asked, though the question was certainly a rhetorical one. Glancing back to the menu, he picked something at random as the waitress approached their table. "I'll have the pasta with shrimp." he flashed the waitress a smile, closing the menu and handing it to her. The waitress turned to look at Sky, waiting for the girl's order.

"Beefsteak and a coke." The girl answered to the waitress. She then turned back to Adney and stuck out her out tongue. "You can take the girl at the city but not the city out of the girl." She said making a movie quote. She was still the same Sky no matter how many years it was between them and the last meeting.

Smiling in amusement, the redhead seemed to concede that point. "I suppose that's so." the waitress took Sky's menu and walked off, tucking the menus under her arms and scribbling down the orders as she walked away. The drama teacher turned back to Sky, a charming smile on his face. "So how is being a Sandman? Does your work keep you entertained?"

Sky looked into Adney's eyes. "It has it's up and does like all jobs. The other day I went into the mind of a pre-teen and she was making out with your brother in more ways then one. Did now need to see that." She answered him giving him an example of a down side of the work that she had to do. "Then again there are also the nightmares children have and I can eat them to save them from it. I get free meals at least."

The waitress returned shortly after, leaving behind a glass of water and a glass of Coke before leaving them alone once more; Adney reached for the water, lifting it to his mouth and taking a drink. He choked at her statement about his little brother, setting the glass down hurriedly and coughed. "That... I did not need to know." he informed her, looking amused and disgusted at the same time. His brother was in a famous band, sure, but he hadn't been aware that a bassist could draw such attention from young girls. However, he supposed it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise; good looks ran in the family. The drama teacher still didn't need to know that kids dreamed of doing such lewd things with his little brother. "It certainly seems to have it's ups and downs."

Sky grabbed her drink so it would have water upchuck in it. She then handed him a napkin. "Now how do you think I feel? It's like 'I know who he is sort of' then there also the issue of 'I wonder if his body is anything like his brothers. Now should I peek or not'?" Sky wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She took a drink of her soda. It really did drive her nuts. "It gets even better when you do students from here and you're like 'that was my teacher for that subject'." She added.

Accepting the napkin, the teacher wiped his mouth and set the napkin to the side. "I suppose it would be worse for you." he conceded, having seen his brother naked, or nearly so, on numerous occasions; they had grown up together, after all, and kids had very little shame on the subject. That, and his brother had a habit of walking around in his boxers if they had no guests and no where to be. He smirked when she made the comment about their bodies being similar, shaking his head to hide the slight color change in his cheeks. "I do hope you haven't been invading my dreams." he raised an eyebrow, curiosity on his features.

Sky smirked. "My partner and I are one of thirty groups that watch over the Capital and the island. Yes I have a couple of times. One involved a unicorn and rainbows and the other time was a nightmare doing with a little boy with blond hair." Sky answered him. There was always a likely chance that she would invade his dreams again later. "My partner turned to when it came to the unicorn and rainbow one and asked me why I liked a crazy guy."

His brow rose higher in curiosity, a smirk causing his lips to twitch in amusement. "Sometimes a man needs to surround himself with the more... pleasant aspects of life." he smirked, his right hand wrapped around his glass. He remembered the dream, as it had been a surprisingly pleasant one; when dreams were not filled with fighting and gunshots, he considered them pleasant in nature. "The nightmare, however, was certainly my nephew. He can be quite the little troublemaker." the redhead hadn't dealt with young children in quite a long time before his adopted brother had had a son. "As for why you like a crazy guy, I couldn't possibly imagine."

A thought came to Sky. She may have talked to him about it and that was why it came up. "The child is Pyry and Mizuki's son right?" She couldn't remember if it was him who told her or she ended up in the child's dreams once. "He's a cutie. I wonder what the children of the guy I end up with and mine will look like." She commented. She didn't really have a boyfriend yet. "Most sandmen end up with their partners. Evan's and my kid would probably end up having purple hair." She made a little giggle.

Nodding, the teacher took another sip of water. "Yes. His name is Ephraim." Adney smiled, a bit of pride creeping into his expression; his nephew was most certainly adorable. At the mention of children, he pursed his lips slightly. Sandmen and their partners? He supposed it made sense; a number of people met their spouses at work. "I would hope my future children would end up with red hair. It's a Sol family trademark." he smirked, wondering if it would work out. Red hair was a recessive gene, and it would most likely be by pure luck. He had been spending a good amount of time with Bellatrix, but he wondered how that would work with her dark hair.

Sky turned to Adney she was starting to think about what would happen if it was her instead of someone else. "Some monsters have recessive traits. Look at my siblings one dark hair, one purple, and a blond. It really depends on the parent with dominate traits. If I was to marry a member of a different race and had child then my children would probably turn out nothing like me and most likely have little to know sandman powers." She commented.
