I want to hide from the ninjas!

Feeling lucky from his win at another gym, Merope returned to the ninja’s dojo to see if his luck was still going strong. He slunk into the gym again, pressing himself against the floor as flat as he could. He could do this! He was Merope, a leviathan! Stealth was... alright. It wasn’t his middle name. He was the antithesis of stealth, a water creature turned landlubber that happened to glow. He would have had better luck hiding if he had rolled around in mud prior to entering to at least hide his glow -- the muddy footprints would give him away, but at least his glow wouldn’t!

Merope stretched out with his arms and dragged himself further into the gym, his whiskers raised and twitching in a vain attempt to detect any traps.



He had this. He totally had this. His method of creeping along on his stomach paid off a second time as he successfully avoided the siren’s call of the booby-trapped niches and anything that happened to be at waist or chest height.

When he had moved a considerable distance of a couple feet, Merope felt it safe to slink his way under a table and wait. If he couldn’t see them, they couldn’t see him either, right?



Nope.

He felt something tap his foot before the sharp zing of a shuriken made him jump, then scamper out of the gym as the ninja vulpes watched him in disappointment. Merope really, really sucked at hiding.

Merope was back for another round. While both his pride and back both stung from the shuriken, he wasn’t about to give up just yet. Curiosity bade him to continue on and keep trying.

Merope slid into position, belly-down and fingertips reaching out as far as he could reach before he half-slunk and half-slid his way into the gym.



Niche? No. He had already tried that, and had written those off as trapped places. Over there, behind the curtains? Again, no -- his tail gave him away then. Perhaps the table? That was his last hiding spot. Merope considered it before shaking his head. The table would not work.

What and where did that leave him? Merope scanned the corridors and continued to slink along until he came to a highly convenient painting of a deus ex machina with colors reminiscent of the ocean.

This was a stroke of luck Merope could not pass up.

Merope stood up and pressed himself against the painting, trying to arrange himself as artfully as possible.



Merope was amazed that he could actually see the Ninja Vulpes pass in front of him, ears perked as it searched for him. Merope allowed a victorious grin to cross his features as the creature performed a doubletake, then a facepalm of sheer disbelief.

A little later and the red dragon was back to try and tackle the gym once more. Furrowing his brow, he walked in with a sense of confidence, determined to find a good hiding spot this time around.

He managed to find a spot, but it really didn't last long as he suddenly saw a shuriken fly by once more.

After last time Kazuka had found he enjoyed the little game of hide and seek so it wasn't a bit surprise that he was back at it again. He had gone into the halls and found another suitable spot and hide his self. Luckily there were no traps in his chosen spot just like last time so he only have to worry about being found by the mini's.

Mandy wanted to hide, not from the ninja's but from the world. This day just wasn't going her way.

And if it happened in her wish to hide she ended up choosing a spot inside the dojo, well that was purely because she knew with its winding corridors and traps people where less likely to find her.

Settling into her spot Mandy was just considering a nap when she felt a tap unpin her shoulder.

Huh?

Oh, there was a hide and seek game?


.....she guessed finding another better spot to hide wouldn't be too tiresome, even kind of fun.

Nodding to the ninja mini she got up and took off to find another spot.

Mandy had just closed the door behind her when a shrunken spun out of the shadows at her, shaving a few centimeters off her hair.

Helping she quickly dashed back out the of the room.

Clearly one should not try and hide in a room a ninja was already hiding in.

Poke knew that trying to hide from these ninja minipets was not going to be easy, but she was now finding it quite hard to figure out new hiding places, especially ones that would keep her hidden from the Vulpes

This one, was no different, but she was happy to walk away uninjured...this time.
