I am loli but I don't wear it much because if I do my parents would be, "What do you think your wearing, missy" or something of the sort.
Also I love the patterns and bows plus the overall design but never the frills.

D: And besides, in Japan, most "hardcore" lolitas only dress "hardcore" lolita on weekends. x: And like KitsunekoChan said, the weekend thing is due to school uniforms. The "job uniform stuff" is true though! I go to a private high school with uniforms (blue button-up dress shirt and plaid skirt with saddle oxford shoes and white socks, very strict) and students with jobs after school don't have time during the week to dress up because most jobs require uniforms! Even grocery stores make you wear khaki pants and an approved polo shirt. Thus, I can't wear the cute clothes I love until the weekends, when no one's making me wear a uniform! Does that make me any less lolita?

I'm inbetween the casual and hardcore too. I'm casual on weekdays, but if I'm going out (usually weekends) I'll dress up in my elaborate outfits, even if it's just to the mall. whee
Weekdays I'm just too busy with ballet classes and schoolwork. Somedays the only clothes I wear all day long are my dance clothes, no time to dress up.

I can't wear lolita to work either, since I work in a laboratory and they supply us with protective clothing. I wouldn't like it if I got some acid on my dresses, so I'm happy that we have work clothes. But I go to work in loli and leave in loli clothes, I just change when I leave the work, since i usually want to go someplace nice (shopping..) after work.

VampyreRyoko i can't dress lolita anywhere here or i'll be considered goth, only at cons is it ok
when i wear dark loli clothes i like to combine it with some light colors too , very cute .
i don't like being considered a goth . ;/

Yeah, I don't really want to be considered overly western-goth either. 3nodding If I do look goth, it has to be cutesy goth.
Which is why I even when I dress full goth loli or kuro loli, these days I wear minimal make up, only a bit of black eyeliner at the most, and neutral/rose lipstick or gloss. I want to look cute and beautiful, not scary xd

I dress casually lolita. Only because it's the only thing I can afford. u.u;
If I were to buy the dresses I would wear them non-stop. Hopefully, my mom and I will be making me own dresses so i can wear them. :3
THen thing is, I could really pull off lolita. D: But I can't aford it, my friend at school would see a EGL poser that doesn't even know what a lolita is and start telling them to give me their clothes. XD Apparently my friends say I look a lot younger than I am, mainly because of my height /weight is too childish to be my real age. o.o" So everyone calls me a lolita at school.

Once I finally recieve my dresses, I will be um part time lolita if you can 0_o
I'll wear normal and lolita clothing... it's too expensive for me to go full lolita

I'm as vain as a peacock, and I dress Lolita almost every day. Even if I don't have to leave the house... I guess I just love dressing up! If I'm sick/not feeling well, that's the only time I don't go EGL. But looking into frilly lacy pyjamas... 3nodding

I do have one question, is lolita based on fasion or is it something else? I was under the impression it was beyond clothing... As for how I dress.. I don't think I have many lilita type outfits at all... (°Д°; )

I go back and forth between true lolita and casual lolita. Depending on what I will be doing that day. It takes more than an hour to get dressed every day. And that is if I do not do anything special with my hair. Heating products do not usually work on my hair, so I have to use curlers and such and wait for my hair to dry and naturally form into a curl.

Well i dont have any loli clothes.....yet xd as soon as i finish my sora costume (which ive been procrastinating about for the past few weeks) Me and my friend are gonna work together on a bunch of loli outifts. im more skilled in sewing that she is in some areas and vice versa. so expect to see a hardcore redhead loli in the future! lol rofl I want to be hardcore sweet lolita more then anything in the world but i know ill be too lazy to dress like that everyday. 1. It takes me 3 minutes to get ready for school (i put on some jeans and a random shirt) 2. when im too tired or just dont feel like it i dont brush my hair ill just tie it up in a messy bun (which people love because my hair is long and so the bun goes all over the place so it looks quite fashionable but NOT lolita lol) and 3. I dont wanna get up earrllly i love to sleep in gonk lol and thats my long post. But i prolly will be dresing loli 6/7 days of the week lol (as soon as i start my freaking sora costume stressed )
