My favorite is L...but a close second is hard for me to choose, I love EVERYBODY! xD Okay not everyone..but quite alot of them.

L! though Near is a close second
i despise light though (and mello because he reminds me of him); he used to be very sweet and pretty innocent in the beginning but...actually, i guess i'm more depressed by him then...actually, i really pity mello...
none of the girls i actually like really-saya becomes cool later on though and i feel sorry for misa...
i guess i pretty much feel sorry for everyone except L, N, and the shinigami (who are all pretty funny -ㅂ-)

Well it's very hard for me to choose from Near and Matt.
However Near comes first. Then Matt.
Followed by Matt is Mello, and then Light and L are kind of tied...

Mello's definitely my favorite, by far. Second would probably be L, Mat, or Misa, I suppose.. I'm not to sure at the moment...
Matsu's pretty cool, too, yeah. X3 And SP below. XP
Mm. It began with L as my favorite, but then he went and was killed by Rem, who happened to be my second favorite at the time.. -__-' Er.. Yeah...
After L died I started off the second arc hating everyone, and hated Mello for pretty much a good part of it, it was right around Mat's intro was when he started to grow on me. XP
Mello's death wasn't a happy time at all.. D:
