((No problem, I semi-AFK'd because of tv problems to help Dad XD. also battling. Way distracting, I know))

"Multiple metal tables and now this stone. There is no luck here," Vero answered despairingly, "not for us. Possibly as punishment for our terrible waitering services . . ." More dispiriting was hearing that Herryk had someone managed to get six badges in a short span of time. Six! Its antennae twitched backwards demurely.

"The painting is done so well, though I did not know Master Rage had the patience for such refined technique." It could not say that they were bad replicas; nor could its bruised (broken?) fist. "But fate favors the strong, as Master Herryk displays."

Herryk glowed at Vero's compliment. Yes, he was strong. "Herryk has big muscles," he offered as if that would help ease the pain of losing. "If Herryk could win badges for his friends, he would." Such a morose tone of voice. ): Honestly Herryk was feeling a little upset that his friends (yes, even Cain was now considered a friend, and Vero too) were not having much luck at smashing the everloving crap out of tables.

"Herryk is feeling very defeated in this Gym of tricky tables," he added, shaking his head as he stuffed the sad-looking little peep-mini back into his loincloth. "It makes Herryk a little angry."

"I wonder if they're painted magically, or something." Cain mused absently, going over to a table and eying the paint curiously. The details were good enough to fool everyone. Cain's curiousity sent his mind wondering over a few different possibilities, but he was brought back by the other two in his company. He looked over at Vero, nodding in agreement.

"Fate favors the strong, but luck favors without prejudice." He offered with a grin. "Hit enough of them and we'll get something." Of course, Cain wasn't looking forward to hitting more of the jacking tables, but he wanted the prizes more than not being in pain.

Greed, it is an ugly thing.

He looked over at Herryk, and smiled.
"It's too bad; but it wouldn't be worth the prizes if we could win them and give them away." He said, shrugging it off. He grimaced at Herryk's frown, snorting. "We'll get the badge eventually. Persistance always gets results." He felt like a walking book of etiquette lessons, but it was true, in his experience.

Hit enough tables and you're bound to get something.

Even if it's a broken hand.

Vespians were known for their persistence, but even Vero was wary at the prospect of more pain for possibly nothing. "Agreed. To win for oneself is better than to rely too much on others. Though we are touched by your offer, Master Herryk." It bowed its head.

"A theory: we believe perhaps if we harness this emotion, this state of being, this rage, we will all have a better chance at impressing Master Rage. But . . . We personally do not like to emote, much less express unconstrained fury at random." Rage's personality was quite unfathomable as far as the spirit was concerned. "If we could be taught by either of you, that would be most appreciated."

And then that newfound lesson would be put back in its box, compartmentalized, and never spoken of again. If the superiors learned he had to act like a barbaric berserker, it would not put Vero's prospects in better hopes.

"Another theory: rage activates an extra sense that allows one to detect reality from illusion, or wood from rock and metal."

All these eloquent phrases and pretty words had Herryk feeling a little inept as far as his conversational skills went. He watched the two smaller boils interact with one another, striving to sound as poetic and wise as these two did.

"Oh yes," he began, trying his best to mimic the others, "rage activation will persist in the resulting badge eventualismly." He nodded sagely, obviously clueless about what he was saying. "And then the ... the illusionalistic of the paint will be .. uhh.. " The Draugr frowned thunderously before he formed a huge, meaty fist and slammed it down onto the nearest table.

"Herryk HATES these tables!" His eyes grew wild. "Herryk does not know what Vero and Cain are talking about, but Herryk is getting more and more ... rage ... filled ... WARRUURUGHHH!!"

Bellowing fiercely, spittle flying from his mouth, Herryk launched himself at a table that stood a few feet away. It was metal, and a resounding clang rang out. Dazed, Herryk exhaled noisily. This was only fueling his rage, that much was made obvious.

Angry and frustrated, Bea just left Time Out's gym. Stupid clock blew up in her FACE! Her beautiful barnacle skin that she cared so much for! How can a ghoul look her best when a stupid clock explodes in your eyes? Well, Bea had just about enough of that... She saw Rage's gym... Perfect... What better place to release (or encourage) the rage and anger than punching out tables? An endless supply of tables ready for the fist's fury. Bea is a rather delicately built ghoul. She hardly ever does anything physically vigorous. Regardless, she was ready to punch these tables out! SO FILLED WITH ANGER!

The moment she punched the table, a small yellowish thing popped out in front of her... What in JACK is THAT?! It seemed alive. Bea quickly lunges towards the thing and cups it in her hands.

Mo sighed as she wiped her face of the dust from the clock that blew up in her face from times gym. She was lost and ended up in a rather anger male's booth. Mo looked around only to be greeted by a table in her face. She looked at the table and it seemed that she had to punch the table. Mo sighed and raised her arm ready to strike. A brief thought in her mind said not to hit it so hard luck hasn't been on your side as of late. She struck the table with all her might only realize that it was made of solid rock. She put a dent in a few pieces falling off but nothing major it but she also heard a few pops. The sound of all her knuckles dislocating her tail cringed. Her ears pinned back as she moved her head side to side holding her head. She glared at the table then kicked it without thinking. She groaned limping away mumbling under her breathe for being so foolish.

She was back again and she was going to beat the tables stopping her from accessing Rage if it pulverized her hand.

Which it had come close.

Anyway, not giving up ok.

Squinting at the table in front of her she tried to determine if this one too was a trick or not. Her eyesight wasn't really helping her on this matter; it'd be better if she was less stubborn about wearing her glasses but hey that wasn't going to happen.

Deciding just to go for it she drew back her fist and let loose her punch, at the last second wondering if she shouldn't have tapped it first to figure out if it was metal or stone by sound.

Oh well, too late.

Rising to his feet, Herryk grit his teeth. His whole body pulsed with rage, a fury that he had never felt before. Looking more and more tense by the second, the Draugr zoned in on another table. Next target. There would be no survivors in this gym.

A booming roar ripped from his throat as he launched himself at his current target. A dull thud -- the table was stone -- and Herryk collapsed on the ground. Staring up at the ceiling, he remained still for a long, long while.

Tap. A brofist tap that clang against the metal table. Roch shook his head, then reached up, scratching at the paint that made it look wooden. He wondered what kind of sick b*****d was just watching this, laughing his a** off silently as idiots kept pounding their fists into rock and metal.

He figured he was better off not knowing.

((OH THE REPLYING FAILS. D: ))

It didn't take a genius by any measure to recognize that Herryk's strength lied in his... well, strength, and not in his head. Cain grimaced as Herryk took his rage out first on a metal table, and then on a stone one. He looked over at Vero with a furrowed brow, sighing a little.
"Whatever it is that makes us angry, I don't think rage is something you can really control." He said finally, going over to Herryk.

"We should try another gym." He offered Herryk an encouraging grin. "Maybe they've run out of fish. Or we can try some other one." He'd only been to the two, and was looking forward to seeing others. Hopefully with less painful results. Still, the frustration seemed to feed from Herryk to Cain. As he started walking towards the exit, he kicked a table that was in his way, not even thinking that it might be metal and thus crush his foot.

Instead of pain, though, something popped out of the table leg. Blinking, Cain crouched down to pick it up. It seemed to be... A Rage PP?
"... Huh." He grinned a little, pocketting the little prize, and turned around. "See? Persistance!" YEY!

"Incorrect. We control our rage very well. We control all our emotions very well," Vero claimed, wincing sympathetically at the double dosage of metal and stone upon poor Herryk. It wondered if the material hurt as much, or if muscles helped cushion the blows in a way.

Angered, but not "enraged", the spirit approached the metal table, curled a fist, and aimed. Crack! Vero yelped.

Not even a dent.

"H-Hypothesis disproven: retaliation does not aid one in strength," it whimpered, falling to its bottom beside the draugr. Apparently Cain had far better luck than them both, snagging a small button-like object - a PP. "One gym after another, we do not care . . . Th-They all are challenging."

Artemis was back wit ha vengence this time. He wanted to win, and he wanted it badly. So what if his hand felt like he had shattered it into a million pieces! Mother knew Fear healing ,so he would be fine after all was said and done.

"Please Jack, just one table..."

The Tattoo Demon wound up his punch, and threw it at the nearest rage inducing flat surface.

His fist connected with marble. Pure marble. How the hell did they paint marble to look like wood? Why the hell would anyone do that? So freaking tacky!

"AUUUUGHLAKLHFISHLHJKLFHKLJHJLHJH JACKINSHIT AJHLFSLKJHFJKSHJSKLHFKJSHFK!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It hurt that much. Sucking his hand, the Tatoo Demon scurried away, pretty embarrassed by everything that just happened.

Grimacing, Jericho stared some more at the tables. Ok. Maybe if he picked out his targets more carefully, he might be able to bust through something at the very least. As tough as he was, there was still only so many metal and stone tables his knuckles could take.

Picking out one that looked pretty breakable, the dragon launched himself at it, letting out a furious roar as he did so. This roar soon turned into one of pain as his hand met with yet another stone table.

Biting his lip to try and not cry out too much, he flexed his hands and looked them over. Some bruising was starting up there. The bits of scale he had here and there did little to protect them at this time.
