Laci was on the verge of panic before Nihl resurfaced. "Nice." She said clearly relieve. "How can you hold your breath that long?" She found herself amazed. "I was out of breath in just a few seconds!" She sighed and paddled in a little closer. "It really is beautiful out here."
{color=skyblue] "I do love it." She inhaled deeply, loving the smell of Grigori. She swore it was his magic that always kept him smelling to clean and fresh. "Should we call them in before they get too far out? Our luck the young girl gets bit by a shark."

Paha unlatched the stall door and silently entered holding the girl close to his body.
Leonardo was by the door sword drawn ready to kill the creatures if they attacked. He would never understand why Paha liked them so much. They were moody and aggressive. Likely to kill the person the took care of them. "Sir."
"Oh hush, you'll get Cam angry." Paha walked over to the mother once more and patted her shoulder. She turned her head to look at the two of them.
The little one, startled by the smell of the new person, darted around behind his mother to hide on the other side of her.
Slowly Paha made his way behind Cam, trusting her not to kick him. "There he is, he is a little on the shy side." Paha slowly placed Afsana on the ground next to him but still held her hand.
The little creature was staring at the two of them, slowly he stretched his neck out to sniff the air around them before taking a tentative step to them.

"You needn't worry about me. I've been at this since I was a child." He pushed a lock of wet hair out of the young woman's face as they tread water together. He was busy watching her, however, as she glanced around to comment on the beauty of the scene, but he had seen it all before, "Yeah, it is."
Grigori laughed, "I think Nihl of all people can handle a shark." He glanced down at her and smiled again, giving her a gentle kiss on the temple, "I can't blame you, it is plenty of fun."

Afsana's little arms shot into the air as she shouted, "Cookie!" and let go of Paha's hand to pounce on the small creature for a hug.

Her hair had fallen lose of all it's pins, she sighed when she felt Nihl move some from her face, and reached up to push the rest of it back out her face. "You are so lucky to have access to this place." She paddled around in a complete circle. "I wish I could come back."
Avarossa giggle and stretched up so she could give her husband a kiss. "You can't keep giving me teaser kisses." Lightly she planted her lips on his.

The creature startled and jumped back pulling the little girl along with him till his butt hit the back of the stall. He stopped and snorted clearly frightened.
Paha darted over "I told you to behave." He was worried the little beast would hurt the girl. But he was surprised to see the little creature slowly lower his head down to sniff the young girl then close his eyes and rub his head along her back.

"You're free to come here anytime you like. The ocean belongs to everyone." He shrugged, "Granted, it's always better to come out into the water with at least one more person. As I said there are some dangers." He dipped down under the water once more to push his hair back and came back up, "But I come out here most days, so you could always tag along."
"I'm not the tease, I just know what I shouldn't be doing on the beach while I'm babysitting." Grigori smiled. He poked her on the nose and laughed, "You should have more patience, my love."

Afsana giggled and pat the small animal on the head, "He's a cuite pa-tootie!" She hugged him around the neck and smiled again, "I can have him?"

Laci looked sad. "I wont be aloud to come. I am hardly ever aloud any where. My father thinks I will be taken advantage of." She copied the king's move and dove under and surfaced. Her hair pushed back out of her face she sunk lower in the water. "He is a little over protective."
"I have plenty of it." Avarossa smiled over her husband's finger in her face. She kissed him one more time before relaxing back into his lap.

Paha sighed lightly. "You'll have to ask Nihl. He is his gift after all." Paha knew the little beast was likely going to hate the man. Since he seemed to already have picked out his owner. Something rather common for his kind.

"Understandable." Nihl nodded, "But maybe he'd trust me? I think I've been trustworthy so far, haven't I?"
Grigori pulled his wife's head onto his chest and rubbed her arm, resting his chin on her head, "You don't show it to me very often." He returned his focus to the king in the water, "They look rather close already, don't they?"

"Can I play with him outside?" Afsana looked up hopefully at the adult, "Please? We can play fetch!"

Laci looked hopeful. "Yes." she nodded her head trying to count on him actually coming to escort her to the beach again. But she was young and her hopes had been stirred. "I am almost sure my father would agree." She couldn't help the radiant smile that she ended up giving him.
"Yes actually they do." She sighed enjoying their peaceful moment together. It wasn't often they got to have them. "As you said. I expect she will be married to him pretty soon. I only hope she isn't a talented actress."

Paha thought a moment. "I am not sure he'll play fetch. He isn't a dog. But I don't see why we can't take him and Cam outside for some exercise." Paha grabbed two halters and placed the larger one on the head of Cam. She nudged Paha as if asking him to hurry up. Taking the smaller one to Afsana he handed it to her. "If you want to play with him you have to walk him out. But keep him close. Or he might bite someone."

Nihl was feeling good about this, about himself, maybe a bit too much confidence overtook his and he reached around to grab the woman by the back of the head before thrusting his face into her for a kiss. The water splashed around them in a manner which would be a hindrance to anyone who didn't love the ocean as much as the king did. But he was the king, and this was an ideal moment for him. His only hope was she was happy enough as well.
"That's about all we can do." Grigori was finally settled with his wife before he noticed the two in the ocean, "Oh s**t."

"Okay Okay." Afsana certainly didn't like being told what to do. She took hold of the harness and walked the small creature out with her anyhow, "Come on cookie, let's go meet uncle Nihl's party. You can share my sweeties with me." With that she started ushering him toward the ballroom with her.

Laci was in a bit of shock. She had never been kissed before. At that moment her dress found it the ideal moment to tangle around her legs, making it impossible to keep herself afloat. First reaction was to move in closer and wrap her arms around the king's neck, unintentionally deepening their kiss. One she was really beginning to enjoy.
Avarossa sat ramrod straight upon seeing the scene out in the ocean. "You should go stop them now before he has his way with her out in the waters!"

Paha kept up with the young girl, the mother just as close behind him. "No that isn't a good idea. He might try to kill someone." He wasn't too worried he knew the little beast wouldn't go too fare without it's mother, and if he had to, he would start to bring her back to the stall, making the little one run back to catch up.

This certainly was an ideal situation for the king. He like the woman clinging to him, he liked being afloat in the ocean with her, and he certainly was enjoying kissing her. It seemed the woman with him was enjoying herself too. He, during the kiss, managed to paddle them to at least a comfortable depth where he could stand on the ocean floor while still making his move. This was much better than any party could be, certainly. Of course, all good things must come to an end, and this one, did so abruptly. When suddenly Nihl pulled away to cry, "Ack Bohemond ********! What the-" He moved beneath the water to pull off what had attacked his foot. From the ocean he pulled up a small, bright red creature that appeared to be an elongated crab, "Oh that's new." he was back to being Nihl, where he couldn't be angry with anything the ocean had to offer, and chose to be fascinated by it instead, "Ouch, little red that hurt." The small crature threatened him with a small snap of it's claw. Nihl just laughed, "He's so cute, look at him."
Grigori laughed, "What are you talking about? I don't see anything." He fell back onto the sand and closed his eyes to relax. That worked for him. As long as the king was married by the end of the month, well, that would be fantastic. "Mind your own business." It was then of course he heard the obscenities and sat up slowly, "Of course you would find a way to ruin this, Nihl. Of course you would."

Afsana just stuck her little tongue out at the lord and blew a raspberry as she ran with the little monster, "Let's go play with the party people, Cookie!"

Laci moved away quickly when he began his little rant of foul words. A small blush crept up her face. It was quelled when the little red creature was removed from the waters. It took her a couple of tries to really get her voice back. "He doesn't seem to happy though." She watched as his claws snapped shut again. "Maybe he is one you should put back, quickly." Her eyes stayed locked on the little red animal as she moved back to stand infront of the king.
"Well she didn't run screaming from the waters yet. So he might still have a chance." Avarossa tried to stay positive. "Maybe a man with a foul mouth wont bother her."

Paha sighed. Maybe this whole thing was turning out to be a bad idea. "Come on Cam lets go get your son before he gets himself in trouble." Paha hopped to lay across the monster's back and flung his leg up to pull himself fully onto her back. Kicking her sides softly the beast trotted off after the two. Nickering to the little guy as she went.

It was then that Nihl realized his slip-up and his jaw dropped as he looked back at the woman, "I-um- I'm terribly sorry, I seemed to have, well, momentarily, lost my composure. And you're right, I had best let him go." He lowered the small red creature into the water as far as he could get it form them so that he would not face any more problems with it.
"Wait, what the fu- did he just use the Eastern Count's name as a swear word? God damn it, Nihl, no wonder we have so many problems with them. Dumbass." Grigori finsihed with an eye roll before he turned back to his wife, "You were saying something about Nihl?"

Afsana made a small pouting face as she saw Paha approaching, "He was gonna help me get sweeties. He would scare all the mean adults away. Unless you want to do if for me."

Laci turned her head, once again blushing. "It's quite all right, I am sure he took you by surprise." She said paddling water to try and take her mind off him. The memory of just what had been going on before the little critter bit the king, it kept replaying in her head. Over and over like a movie stuck on rewind.
Avarossa sighed and settled back into Grigori's lap. "Oh forget it, if he scares her off the man is doomed to live a life of a man whore." She eyed the man of who's lap she was still occupying. "You need to watch your mouth. Our daughter will surely pick up more bad words if you don't."

Paha chuckled. "No, I will give you a couple of sweets, but you can't take him inside, he would hurt some one."
Leonardo was hanging back a few feet. Those creatures made him worry. "Sir, may I suggest you put them back?" He asked coming up not too fare behind. "It would be safer."

Nihl just laughed half-heartedly until he turned away, cleared his throat and sighed, "Well, how about we try again?" Although outwardly he was referring to going underwater, he might have subconsciously been referring to other recently-stopped actions.
"What? My little angel swearing? You must be out of your mind? He feigned a shocked look before smiling and kissing the woman's head again. Behind it of course, he decided to literally and figuratively work his magic as he lifted a small wave to push the younger woman into the king.

"Cookie doesn't want to go back." Afsana had turned to hug the small creature around his neck, "Do you Cookie? He doesn't like you, big mean puss pants."

"Sure." Laci said with a smile. Her feet didn't quite reach the sea floor, so when some wave came she was at it's mercy. With that small wave, she was pressed against the king's chest once more. Looking up quickly she stared a little wide eyed. She wanted him to know the wave had done that.
Avarossa was completely unaware of her husband's magic trick. "Well remember when you said she had to stop being so innocent? Well looks like she is all over it now." Of course she was referring to the girl stuck to the king.

Paha sighed. "You can keep him out here if you want to play with him some more. But only out here. He could really hurt someone."
