Benitoite couldn't turn around to see Fluorite and Painite, he didn't even see what the eternal senshi did, but it sounded like he'd pissed of Fluorite and was getting away. That wasn't good, since it seemed his Captain wanted to get that senshi and he wondered if she'd be even more upset about his escape later on.
But then Fluorite was coming to his rescue, how nice. "Once I'm free I'm going after that super senshi, I owe her for the last time we met." He stated, hoping Fluorite wouldn't have an issue with him running after a super senshi. He didn't think she would, she might come and watch. Maybe if Fluorite came he wouldn't have a repeat performance of the spider incident. Plus, if something did happen he'd have Fluorite there to make sure he wasn't attacked further by the senshi while suffering from seeing a spider, or multiple spiders.
"I'd suggest you let me go kitty, I don't think my friend here has any issue in following through with what's just said."

Cora had expected other kind of reaction to her 'hug attack'. Surprise, anger, maybe panic. But not plain dryness. She pouted. "You're no fun." And then, there was a heel on her toes. Her sockless, shoeless toes. Cora let out a high-bitched whine and hiss. "Owww.... That hurrrrt...." But instead of letting go, her arms ended up squeezing Beni a little bit harder. She was determited to keep him still, at least they had won enough time for others with Themis.
When they had done so, Cora let go. The cat girl took couple quick steps backwards and transformed into her feline form, her huge aura disappearing to almost nonexistent. "Sorry," the cat said silently before running by the side of Themis, using her three uninjured feet. It was not that the lieutenant had crushed her foot badly but it was still aching.
"Themis, could you pick me up?" the kitty asked from the eternal. "So that I won't fall behind.. I'm not heavy."

The good thing was that it was easy for a cat to catch up, running after a senshi or not. Themis looked down toward her, then stopped to pick her up.
"That's fine... Are you okay ?" He really hoped so. He didn't want to explain Ainsley why her kitty had gotten hurt.
Of course, he had no idea about who Ainsley also was...
He didn't settle her on his shoulder like he usually did with ********* - instead he held her and started running again.

"He stomped on my toes," Cora made a whimper when the eternal asked was she okay. Her ears turned a bit flat and for a brief moment Cora looked like a kitten that had been in the hard rain. The small feline curled up tightly around Themis arm and held in tightly, careful to not use her claws while doing so. The senshi could feel the cat trembling a little.
Soon she spotted them, couple senshis and the guardian cat she didn't recongnize. "Over there!" she announced while pointing at the direction to Themis with her tiny paw.

He continued to glare at the senshi. It was a rather unorthodox time to give a little lesson, but he had been feeling more and more chatty with senshi the more he encountered him. While he knew they would not understand and would never side with his way of thinking, he still felt that, what with the revelation that the Negaverse could bring senshi to their side, that it was at least a avenue that he could at least place effort towards. If any senshi who held doubt in their cause wanted to come over to their side, it was one less he had to fight and kill - not that he minded the killing part all that much anymore. While it was once startling, it had happened far too many times that he numbed over that part. His mind went elsewhere when he killed, and the justification often helped seal that emotional pangs from such an action.
"You are not a stranger to me. You are a senshi, and therefor my enemy. I don't need to exhaust myself learning about someone who is my enemy, who I am to eliminate from this planet, because in the end, if you do not side with me, you are against me and will be destroyed. For me to allow you to live goes against all I have worked hard to protect, and you work to bring about the coming of a Queen that only wants to bring about destruction to the very way of Earth. If you align yourself with people from outside this planet, you are working against Earth. If you fight for Earth, then the only option is to join with the ranks who fight to protect it, and that's the Negaverse. When you say you don't fight kids, remember who you are fighting against now. This is war. Killing happens. In the end, it matters who kills the most enemies that wins, and in the end, those sacrifices ensure the wellbeing of everyone and everything I care for. Those sacrifices are essential." He rose he rose his weapon to the side, whipping it out to try and wrap the chain around the senshi. If he could do that, stealing her starseed would be easy enough.
It was the child that wrapped about his back that threw his aim off, and he cursed and he nearly feel forward.
TOO CLOSE! The senshi was far too close, and in his panic and anger, he hiked up his arm and went to elbow the girl right in her face!

"I don't think you listened very well to what I just said," Ganymede countered. He almost rolled his eyes, but thought better of it at the last second and controlled the reaction. Something told him that wouldn't be very well received. "I don't give a damn about any Qu-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence. At first, when he saw Kallichore coming up from behind the Negaverser, he thought it was with the intention of ushering the cat and the child away to safety. He didn't expect her to actually grab his assailant, and he stood there and watched, eyes wide with shock and indignation, as her arms went around the boy and his weapon was thrown off target, striking the ground a foot or so to Ganymede's left.
"Kallichore!" he immediately admonished her, grateful that he was now no longer the only one standing between a bunch of kids and certain death, but wishing she could have made her presence known in a different way. "I appreciate the help, but get off of him! I just finished saying how attacking from behind is a coward's move! You're making me look bad!!"
And then Callisto sprinted around them and made a mad dash for her cat, and Ganymede felt his heart lurch in terror and alarm. What was she doing? "Calli-" he started, but cut himself off and the rest faded into a series of garbled grumbles, not wishing to bring any more attention to her than she'd already done on her own. She'd been safer behind him. Now she had to go and put herself between one Negaverse agent and the rest fighting somewhere behind them.
"Page!" he shouted toward the knight who's name he didn't know. "Take them to safety! Kallichore," he said again, trying to make his tone of voice more pleasant this time, "I could use the back up, I'm not very good at this on my own. But I would like to try things my way, and to do that I'd need you to not to grab him and make him look like he wants to rip your face off. I was making progress."
Or he'd at least gotten them to devolve into an "I'm right/You're wrong" contest of wills instead of immediately being gifted with a necklace made of his intestines. That was progress enough for him.

After a brief struggle with Wolframite (and why did he have such an ornate costume? Weren't those boots hard to run in?), Kallichore found an elbow careening towards her head. She tried to duck but it ended up clipping her in the forehead with a dull smack. Ganymede asked her not to attack him, but why? He was going to shred the other senshi! Despite the fact that she firmly believed Wolframite was just asking to be mindraped, Kallichore let go and ran to Ganymede's side. "Make you look bad? Would you rather I make you look dead?" she spat, but after Ganymede explained a little of what he was doing, she tried not to roll her eyes. This wasn't Destiny City Hugs and Love Day Camp.
To her, talking to stubborn Nega agents didn't do much other than make her frustrated, but if he wanted back up, Kallichore would be happy to provide. She would have loved a bandaid for her head, though. Taking up her position beside her fellow (now super) Jovian, Kallichore braced herself. "The moment this gets ugly and he tries to shred one of us, I'm not holding anything back, just so you know. I'd rather we survive than die trying to convert one of them." came her explanation under her breath. Two against one was definitely more evened odds in her opinion even though Ganymede seemed more of a pacifist than anything else. At least his fuku seemed more streamlined now? That she could appreciate.
"What were you two talking about, anyway?" she asked. Kallichore didn't bother to listen in as she sprinted back and figured that any hesitation would equate the serious injury or death of a teammate. Hesitation was not something she allowed herself to do very often. The children being on the battlefield disturbed her now that she saw them, and decided that they were in more need of protection than anything else. She'd stay by Ganymede's side if it meant protecting them and perhaps him too.

Not fair! was Europa's immediate thought. Teleporting negaversers from the dark side of the planet? Whose idea was this? She squinted against the stinging nettles in the air and reached a hand out for Valhalla. Finding his arm, she clamped a gloved hand around his wrist and hissed, "Stay close to me, ok?" It was impossible to see anything in this fog, and the temptation to close her eyes was strong but Europa fought it. She was somewhat used to fighting blind, but here it would put her at a distinct disadvantage. Europa tried to keep dragging the page forward, although it was slow going because she wasn't sure who was where in this fog and Lyra and the general were both here somewhere. She had no sooner thought that than a fist emerged from the fog and clocked her in the nose. There was loud crack! and Europa stumbled backwards, blood streaming down her face. Blinking stars from her eyes, she clamped her free hand to her face and pulled Valhalla in the opposite direction. Clearly, they were not going that way. Europa was not in the mood to engage in combat with an enemy she had been trying to escape. She stumbled for a bit, clearly disoriented in the fog, and moments later she could see another enemy shadow approaching them through the mist. Although she was not certain if it was the general or Lyra again, Europa just wanted them out of the way. She unclamped her bloody hand from her even bloodier nose and indicated the shadow. "Europa deep ocean terror!" she declared. (Although it sounded slightly garbled, broken nose and all.) "Come on!" she hissed to Valhalla, not sticking around to see the results of the attack. The way up ahead seemed clear, and she was going to pull them out of this fog if it was the last thing she did.

Freed from the cat Benitoite had spotted that senshi again, that one in red, white and cyan. He didn't know her name but he wouldn't be forgetting her any time soon. She was the reason for many nights worth of nightmares and he was not about to let her team up with another senshi against another negaverse agent, not to mention she was his! Yes, he was a little possessive at the moment.
A quick smile flashed to Fluorite. "I'll be back, found the senshi I want." And he took off toward the senshi, paint brush coming out as he rushed her. Even if the agent, whom he didn't know, could handle both senshi he wasn't going to leave the long sleeved senshi to him. Coming into the area he flashed a smile. "I do hope you don't mind, but I owe that senshi." Speaking to Wolframite as he pointed his art brush at Kallichore.
"And if you don't mind I fully intent on paying her back for our last meeting." The question, seeking of permission, in his slate colored eyes. He wanted her, and badly. Paint brush pointed toward the senshi as he kept out of the way of the Captain's weapon. All he needed was the ok to handle her and he'd be on her.
Maybe this meeting was sooner than he'd planned, before he was ready, but he didn't care right now. he was being a little impulsive as the rush from this fight swept him up with things. He wanted to get involved and he wanted to take on that senshi in particular.

"s**t," Valhalla cursed in surprise when the girl called Lyra teleported herself and her friend in front of them again. "What's the point if we can't even run?!" he sputtered, although he quickly shut his mouth and winced at the mist against his eyes, trying to keep them as closed as possible with still being able to see. He didn't see why they were even trying to run if they wouldn't be able to get as far as a block without being teleported in front of.
He let Europa grab onto his wrist. The mist was painful to try and look through. And even then all he could see was, well, mist. Keeping them shut for a second or so before opening them again seemed to help, but then he hadn't seen where in the mist that Europa got clobbered. Heck, he could barely see her next to him. Valhalla almost cursed again, lifting the staff he still had between the two of them and whoever else was hiding in the fog. He'd at least try to hit them next time.
As soon as Europa used her attack, though, he spun to run with her. The faster they got out of there, the better.
"What's the point??" he hissed in her direction. "They're just going to do the same thing, aren't they?" Why not use old tricks if they work? As predictable as it was, it was still very effective.
"Where'd Themis and the others go?" he asked while he could, trying to get a look around as the fog began to clear, waiting for the girl and her friend to appear in front of them again, but this time he'd be ready. He pulled his wrist away from the senshi and fixed his hands like he would for a baseball bat, lifting the staff over his shoulder as if to prepare for a swing. "If they show up, duck." If they didn't, then at least he'd been prepared.

Ganymede didn't bother trying to prevent himself from rolling his eyes, and they went around in their sockets in quite an annoyed fashion. He shot Kallichore a "don't talk to me like I'm stupid" look and propped his hands onto his hips, turning back to the Nega agent to keep his eyes on him while he answered his fellow senshi. "I was being enlightened," he told her, voice dripping with sarcasm. "Our prissy friend here seems to think he knows what I'm working toward better than I do, which is kind of funny seeing as I barely know that myself."
He didn't even like what he'd become very much. He'd have preferred to remain normal and blissfully ignorant. Now he was stuck trying to figure his way through all of this, and though he felt he'd been making some progress lately, he was still struggling to find his place. At the moment, there was only one thing he was concerned about: protecting those who needed protecting. Anything else didn't matter.
"No offense, but I think you might be a bit deluded," he directed this comment toward Wolframite, dangerous as it might be to do so. "And self-righteous to boot. You lumping me in with everyone else is taking the easy way out, instead of considering that some of us aren't like whatever image of a senshi you've worked up in your brain. Clearly we're not all the same, or else she and I would get along a whole lot better," Ganymede said, motioning toward Kallichore with a jerk of his thumb. He suppressed his second eye roll only because he didn't want to take his eyes off of the boy in front of him.
His gaze kept flicking toward Callisto, Tomlin, and the page, hoping none of the other Negaverse agents would catch up while he and Kallichore were busy with this one, as well as hoping Kallichore's attack from behind would be enough to keep this boy focused on them instead of turning his back to them and going after the potentially less capable three behind him. Kallichore might not be his partner of choice, but he was going to have to manage.
"I don't want to fight you," he said. "I don't want to hurt anyone. Call that cowardice if you want, if that's what it takes to make you feel all righteous and superior. I call it mercy, which seems to be a concept you have trouble understanding."

Beginner's luck was an accurate description of what had carried Callisto through whatever it was Ganymede and the black-clad man were doing. The rest of it was a combination of instinct, based on a life spent dodging a man who had no compunctions about smacking her when he felt she needed it, and the fact that Wolframite had no interest in her. "No, I think… I think we should do what Europa said," she whispered to Hesperis. She had to keep being brave, like Tomlin told her to. She kissed the top of her cat's head again and started backing away. "Go somewhere crowded and stop being like this so they can't find us." Europa seemed very experienced, but she looked to Tomlin and Hesperis first. Was she right to trust the girl with the wings on her butt?
"This isn't a game, little girl," said Callisto, which was somewhat ironic because she was closer to the orange-haired girl in age than she was to Europa. She hadn't even hit puberty yet, which just made this all extremely sad, as far as she was concerned. With her cat securely in her arms, she was starting to get antsy again. "Hesperis, I want to go, she said, looking out past Ganymede and Wolframite. "We should go, I don't want… don't want anyone to get hurt."
There were so many bad guys here. Maybe there'd be fewer someplace else.

Tomlin twisted gently around in Callisto’s arms, leaning to peer down at the little orange head. “*********?” he asked, thinking of the powerful energy aura he’d sensed before. It was gone now – he hoped the other cat was alright, whoever it was. “Is that why you followed me?”
He wasn’t sure how he felt that the child was a senshi too. Better than if he’d led a civilian into danger, he decided, settling on relieved. Obviously the other guardian had found her mature enough and sensible enough to awaken her, so there was no point trying to keep her out of it, but a transformation would definitely draw attention to them, even if in the greater scheme of this brawl they were the small fry. At least the older girls were shielding her. Tomlin resettled in Callisto’s arms, the gentle kisses calming his ‘get me down’ instincts, and tried to think.
Europa’s plan had been good, from what he’d heard as they ran, but Tomlin had been listening to the nearby attacker in black and green. His rant was deeply worrying, despite Ganymede’s efforts to talk him down. Tomlin didn’t like the bit about ‘sacrifices’ at all. If they disappeared into a crowd of unpowered humans, what would these Negaversers do? People would get hurt.
“They haven’t noticed us,” he reassured, but then he spotted the boy in the blue coat, running past them to challenge Kallichore with what appeared to be a paintbrush. The rest of the party was catching up. “...Yet,” he amended.
Out of sight would be a good bet right now, but not too far, not when the older senshi might still need them. Even young and inexperienced, they were not powerless and he wasn’t going to let them think they were. “That street Kallichore came out of. Then take any alleys we come to. Narrower the better, so they can’t swing anything big at us. We’ll back the others up from there. Put me down, I’ll guard the entrance and keep an eye on things.”

By the time Ridley found her pen, she really was at the point of not liking what she was hearing. Her initial excitement on a possible new battle to participate and kick some a** in gave way to unwanted frustration. Her orange brows knit together, little hand clutching her orange pen tight. "No s**t," her mouth running into the foul language she often got in trouble with. True, Ridley's choice of words probably weren't the best she could have decided on but they weren't any less true.
With the small group still practically surrounding her, she thrust her hand into the air, the pen held high as she said aloud, "Hygiea Power! Make-up!" The magic and ribbons took hold, circling her until the orange haired girl was replaced by, well, an orange haired girl with a sailor suited uniform with a pink cat plush clutched in the crook of her arm.
Hygiea stood in place, with a hand on her hip, not caring if it really did get anyone else's attention. "We help people, that's why we don't run away when it gets scary." In this form, her words would probably make more sense to say. These were the things she had already began to learn from those she met, "********* and Iris and HugBell say we have to protect people and I don't think running into crowds will stop them. They'll just attack those people trying to find you." That was something that took her a while to realize really, and mostly from watching the Incredibles. Those villains were probably like these and wouldn't stop just because they had run away or were scared... or were young. The Negaverse would probably just get more angry.
And that was something Hygiea would want to avoid. Sure, she wanted to fight. She liked fighting but more fighting lead to getting better and she wanted to get better like Iris and HugBell. More fighting would probably mean her stupid power could get better. And getting better meant protecting people, which was their job and all.
"So, if you want to go... fine." The senshi of herbs stated as pushed past the little group. "I'm calling for back up... that makes better sense." Her senshi phone was in her hands, pulled from .. wherever it came from - she hadn't figured that part out yet really - and she was quickly unlocking it to send her message out to her teammates.
'big fight. lots? of bad people. come help? lol. Hopefully at least one of them would respond.
When it was done, her head turned back. The phone was still in her hand, debating if she really wanted to put some of these guys into her database. But her eyes now were on Tomlin, finally addressing his question. "********* is my cat. And I followed you because cats are awesome! And talking cats are even more awesome." And in her mind, Callisto didn't deserve to cuddle such an amazing creature for being a wuss.

Down the street about a block down, a blonde shook her head at the message she just glanced over. Standing next to her was a small cat.
"...what does it say?" the cat asked the senshi.
"Looks like th'brat beat us to th'scene somehow..." the yellow suited senshi said in a flat tone.
Where as the senshi sounded unimpressed, the manx let out a simple "Ohh, that's good to know! It won't be just us investigating that surge of energy earlier!"
The teen just shook her head in a less than encouraging manner before she sighed out "...let's jus' get our asses over there!" With that, the pair were on the move again, making their way to what seemed like a rather large gathering. It was unknown as to the why all of these senshi were present, but Sailor Iris ventured to guess it had to do with why she was there too.
"...so... where's th'party at guys?" There was a half smile upon her lips as she asked the question as she glanced around, trying to take in the full situation, assessing everything that had happened so far (in most likely an inaccurate manner too).
There might have been a few senshi surrounding the orange haired child, but that didn't stop the manx from slipping past various ankles to make her way to the chibi senshi.
"You rang, Hygiea?" she asked in her customary friendly manner. Knowing that Iris would probably get upset if she didn't get an explanation, the manx made certain to follow her playful question with a more serious one.
"So, what happened here?"
