Returning back to the time out gym, Poke picked up a hammer and then search around until she found a clock that she believed would actually open this time.

Sadly, her efforts to smash open the clock were in vain, as no matter how hard she smashed with the hammer (or she pegged it at the rest of the trash in frustration), the device just wouldn't budge. How it was able to withstand such a beat, she had no idea. Eventually she gave up, placing the objects down and walked out of the gym feeling rather annoyed

Cat stank of fish. Cat's fist was a ruined mess, and he could still feel the shaking bouncing around inside him. Sure, the RAGE had subsided (as soon as he left that Gym, oddly enough...) and he had long since removed the unicorn-horn of a spring, but this was all getting too insulting. Much too insulting.
He felt like breaking something.
Assuredly, he had received some sort of dangerous debris to the face on his previous tries, but at least he had smashed the clocks open. That was satisfying enough and, for the time being, breaking them to pieces would be enough to make him feel better.
As suspected, bringing the hammer down on the clock did indeed crack it open. This time, however, there was no pause, nor explosion, but the second the clock popped open, another spring shot out and lodged itself in Cat's face. Hmm. He had been expecting as much, and after taking a moment to gather his dignity, he left calmly, the spring protruding comically from one of his 'eyes.

Ulmuka was back. He lifted a hammer and covered his eyes. He tried to use his good arm but unfortunately he'd smashed it into a metal table minutes before so his confidence was a bit shaken.
He screeched in dismay as once more a spring flew out and hit him in the face. At least he'd shielded himself!!

Face still covered in soot, eye brows slightly singed, the chimera thought about trying her luck with perhaps obtaining a pretty new pet. Then again, considering her luck, perhaps it wasn't the best idea today. Rubbing her face along her forearm she slipped from the gym in search of sink so she could clean up. She would be returning again, the clocks had it coming!

In retrospect, it was probably not the best of ideas to use a hammer after breaking her knuckles, but when did Amrita ever claim to think things through?
She left as soon as she heard the ticking, not even bothering to stay to prove she failed.

Attica found that except for the tinking noise that sounded like a bomb she really like this booth game.
Picking up the hammer she was able to smash open the clock to have a spring pop out and hit her in her face.

Herryk was really starting to hate these clocks.
Try as he might, there was no way he was going to get this clock opened. For a split second he debated throwing the thing at the ToTers head, instead here tossed the stupid clock to the ground and stalked out of the shop. Perhaps he would come back later for another try, but for right now, well.

Smashing clocks, eh? Cady was good at breaking things.
Forgoing the hammer, she used her tail as a sort of mallet and bashed in an antique looking grandfather clock cheerfully.
As the clock face shattered under the force of the blow, a spring shot out and pegged her in the eye. She staggered forward, tripped over the base of the clock, and landed on her face.
Well played, sir. Well played indeed.

If there was any ring inside, there was no trace of it left as the clock she was able to smash open blew up in her face. Wincing, she hobbles off to find a first aid kit to tend to the cuts and burns, Riptide trotting at her heels.
