One of the little rainy ghosts seemed to be taking a particular delight in tormenting Malodore - as the plague doctor walked through the greenhouse, it kept getting rained on in irritating little fits and starts. Ugh!

It pretended to be studying a flower with great interest, waiting for the ghost to get close enough - then it moved without warning, swiping at the thing. To the astonishment of both plague doctor and ghost, it managed to tangle its claws in the thing's ectoplasm.

They stared at each other for a moment, neither really sure what to do.

I PWN STEVE

This was Enya's first time in this gym and the steady falling water soothed her. She was, after all, connected to water on more than a physical level. While she is busy admiring the system put in place to make all that water come down from the ceiling, like rain, a little white ghost flies past her. Immediately, it catches her interest and she chases after it in the hopes of catching it.

Enya gets really close to one. She crouches low, ready to pounce on it, her eyes big with excitement. A steadying breath and she launches from her spot at the ghost only to have it fly right out from under her hands. She falls to the ground and groans in pain. There was definitely going to be bruises. But she really wanted to come back here again. Maybe to just sit under the water. She leaves with a really big smile, completely soaked.

One, two, three

One, two, three

Gliding among the folliage doing her three-step Britannica noticed another of the pretty lights dart close to her.

Smiling she reached out and tried to grap it.

It sliped through her fingers just as she began to close them and shurgging she continued her dance.

The troll looked up at the ghosts and flinched away. Ikki peered back at the troll and rolled her eyes, grabbing a net in her maw and climbing things to try and capture the ghosts.

When she hopped off the stack of things, the net phased through the ghost, before Ikki landed, and the ghost disappeared. The Scareon made a face when she saw the ectoplasmic goo leaking from the net and shuddered, gingerly returning the net to the pile she'd gotten it from.

Ghost catching? In all his grave robbing experience, he had unfortunately, never spotted a stray ghost. Only those he had met in school. Apparently catching them was a lot trickier than he thought it would be, and despite his efforts, he came up empty.

Personally, he blamed Steve.

Ikki, however, had moved on, rolling her eyes at the antics of teens. She wandered around for a while, in search of a ghost. They weren't hard to find, but it took the fox a few moments to realize she wasn't high enough for the only method the glass case provided to be effective.

Britannica had learnt from her last two attempts. Instead of waiting for one of the pretty lights to get close and snatching it she carefully lured one in, gentle hands outstretched for it to land on.

At the last second a loud sound emanated from the depths of the greenhouse, startling it away and leaving a pouting Britannica.

Ikki sighed, glaring at the ghosts, and made her way back down the stacks of whatever she'd been climbing to get up there. She poked through the supply closet for a few moments before coming out again with a plastic bag tied to a broom handle, to give it another try.

She would find this, also, not to work.
