Junko watched in horror as the fearados destroyed booth after booth, even Calder's. Or was that already destroyed? Maybe it was. But what was important was that it couldn't be allowed to destroy anymore booths. B-but they had no choice! If only they could send it back instead of to one side or the other!

Picking up another taiyaki, another wasabi filled one, Junko chucked it at the fearados again. She decided to move it left.

Booth destroyed and it still wasn't done! The little pause the big beastie gave made Simone have a brief glimmer of hope only to have that hope dashed at the realization that it was deciding on what to attack, the Florestival booth to the left or the game booths to the right.

She had to act fast! The choice was hard but there were more students and visitors over by the games. Buying seeds was one thing, but folks were more important that that. Picking up a plank of wood with a nail driven through one end, the demoness chucked the projectile of choice with a bit of an unrestrained grunt as she tried to lure the creature to the left. She held her breath with eyes wide and hands clenched as her weapon arched through the air to strike the fearados. She did manage to hit it, but not dealing too much in the way of damage.

There were several factors that went into Riley's decision. At first, she was trying very hard not to be amused at the destruction of Calder's already-destroyed booth. After all, she didn't quite hate him anymore.. but that boil simply did not have good luck today. She was rather infatuated with the idea of destruction regardless, and briefly started trying to decide exactly what she would have to do to enthall this beast and make it her own.

This was around the point Malodore and Jericho both decided to try to be heroes.

Riley was no hero. In fact, she was far from it. She was, however, very adamant about protecting the ones she loved.

And she did not love those booths.

Pssssssst. She hissed at the monster, snapping her tentacles like whips at it's lower body and missing terribly. Hopefully the noise would get it's attention, instead. She started backing up to the right, trying to get the fearados to come towards all of the booths, and away from Malodore and Jericho.

Most of the crowd had joined in on the fight, anyway. She wasn't worried about leading the beast to the slaughter.

The booths were temporary. They had been put up throughout the festival, and would be taken down at the end of it. The tree, the Holiday itself....well. They were Halloween Town. Barth knew the importance of a Holiday.

Right.

Marosa was torn. Should he try to veer it towards the rest of the stalls, just to save Floresctival? Or should he try to save the stalls and not have Floresctival again, quite possibly ever again?

Choices were hard to make, especially when it was his choice.

What was most important?

Other ghouls.

Things could be rebuilt. Floresctival could be redone. There would always be the memory.

But... it reminded him of home. It took years for trees to grow. He stared long and hard at the tree, frowning; he could already hear her in his head, hoping that he made the right choice in saving the ghouls.

His heart, however, pined for the nature around him.

His decision made, Marosa grimaced and shook his mind away from past history, and started towards the monster. Ghouls could heal, and have scars to bear; they'd survive just fine.

Glancing around, Marosa found that he was still holding his wet shirt, wadded up in his hand and still rather wet. Hopefully this would leave a welt as well.

He drew his hand back over his head and gave the thing a good throw at the large creature, trying to veer it right.

Hasuko watched as the rampaging lake monster swung about and demolished several booths. It was really unreal how huge that monster was. How had she never noticed it before when she went swimming in the lake??

The kappa quickly jumped out of the way of a piece of debris sent flying from one of the huge monster's attacks. She shouldn't be wondering such frivolous things right now.

Her fellow students were still grimly fighting all around her. Most of the seemed to be trying to herd it to the left, away from the game booths and the crowds of creatures. Hasuko grabbed her remaining sandal and chucked it at the lake monster, trying to help out.

Her aim still was off. Drat. Well, she tried.

It was a hard decision for Aurian. The stalls, where everyone was having so much fun, or the tree and the only location where the seeds required for the Floresctival could be purchased. There wasn't much time! Aurian decided to prioritise the three and the seed booth. The stalls wouldn't be of much use if there was no currency left. And wooden structures could be more easily rebuilt than a poor tree. After this, Aurian promised herself, she'd help rebuild the stalls.

With that decided, Aurian materialised her scythe. She ducked around and swung at the Fearados' side, trying to force it to the RIGHT.

... Swing and a miss.

"Graaaah, no fair," Aurian complained, darting away as the Fearados came close to trampling her. So much for being a good Reaper, then.

((OOC Note: I wasn't sure if we were allowed to jump in since this is the second phase, so if we aren't allowed to jump in now, please disregard this. o u o;; ))

Kallos hadn't been too close to the lake when the large, extremely horrifiying serpent had reared it's head, and he hadn't been too keen on the idea of going to fight it.

Actually, he was kind of staring at it with the look of a terrified little girl that was faced with their worst fear. Or a small, weak deer that's looking at a T-Rex. Or maybe a rabbit shocked into stillness by a large slavering wolf.

In a nut shell, if Kallos wasn't already a ghost, that monster-like serpent probably would have scared him half to death. If not fully to death.

As such, by the time he actually worked up the courage (yeah right, like Kallos has any of that) to go help fight, it had already done damage to what looked like three booths.

Except now it was torn between destroying the booths, and hurting the big nooditree.

Thinking for a moment, Kallos pulled out a long feather quill that he'd had in his backpack. It would be a shame to lose the quill, but ah well. (It was a rather cheap quill anyway, right...?) He looked between the booths and the tree. The booths weren't permanent, anyway...but the tree was. It needed to be protected, since it couldn't protect itself, after all. The people in the booths could run away, anyway. That in mind, Kallos took up position, determined to move the creature RIGHT to stop it from killing the tree.

Taking aim as he had at the dart game, Kallos threw the quill with all of his laughable amount of strength. It actually flew beautifully, and then somehow, a flare someone had thrown up was blown(maybe?) right into the quill's flight. The quill then combusted, still flying toward the serpent, and actually managed to nail it, apparently right in a place where it could actually do damage, and hopefully distract the giant monster into moving right.

Kallos actually gawked a bit at the fact that he'd actually hit something.

Since when could the athletically challenged Haunt actually throw and HIT something?!

That creature had just destroyed three booths. Bea quickly turned to her booth which she had worked HARD to keep up. She winced at the thought of her booth destroyed by this thing. Ready to cry thinking about her precious booth turning to rubble. But what was more important was the safety of the citizens of Halloween. She peered over to floresctival booths, wiped her tears and looked back at the creature with determination.

Bea ran to the creature's right and picked up anything she could find on the ground to steer it towards her. She tried to get it's attention and bring it away from the floresctival.

The choice was simple, really, for Artemis. His friends were at the Floresctival; the game booths were inanimate objects. Would minis be destroyed in the wake of the Fearados? More than likely. But, friends and people were more valuable than minis. So, Artemis decided to try and verr the beast to the right by chucking the afore-mentioned Bomb at it.

Sorry buddy, necessary sacrifices.

Sadly, though, the Bomb landed in the water, and promptly dissolved into FEAR. Whoops.

The feardos was still rampaging on. It was like the damage that had been done was doing nothing at all and in its fury it managed to destroy a couple of booths. The creature also seemed confused on where to rampage next. This left Mitsu in quite the predicament. Should she aim it toward the games or the other booths?

Quickly Mitsu searched for something else to throw and once that object was found she chucked it at the creature hoping to steer it right. At least she hoped that was the better decision. Getting him to come back the way he came would have been better but she wasn't sure how possible that would be. He was rather large after all.

Once again she managed to hit the creature but not with quite the effect as the last hit. She would have to be sure to let Shun know her aim wasn't too bad. The lycan had no idea....

Panicked, Christof rushed forward, grabbing a rock from the ground to hurl it at the rampaging monster, trying desperately to veer it to the Right, but alas the rock went spinning uselessly to crash into a booth instead. Hell's Bells! He had to pull himself together! Be USEFUL, you stupid Igor! Bitter thoughts aside, he planted himself firmly and prepared for what was to come if the beast came his way...

What to do. The creature was now between that festival booth and all the other game booths. If it stayed there surely everything would be destroyed but perhaps it could be moved to save something. Holly thought for a moment and picked up another rock, big one this time. She wanted to move it left. Aiming she tossed and landed another hit. Success, or so she hoped.

The sound produced from the flattening of the booths was oddly satisfying. Edel felt bad for thinking that way, after all, someone had put the effort into making those booths. She watched the fearados pause in sudden confusion, as if contemplating whether it should proceed to mow over the rest of the booths, or turn its side and take down the beautiful tree. She too, faced a similar dilemma – the frost demon could not decide whether she should protect the booths or the tree. Edel could not decide if the opportunity cost of sacrificing the game booths or the floresctival booth and tree itself was greater.

Put it this way, Edel had played most of the games already. What was left were visiting the campaign booths, which even if destroyed after this incident, would not stop the campaigning for the Student Council Elections. A tinge of guilt crept into her – Lizzy would be devastated to see the booth she painstakingly set up destroyed. Yet the tree was one of the things the frost demon particularly appreciated in the festival – it would be a pity to see it gone.

Forming another ice dagger in her hand, the ghoul made her decision. Taking aim, Edel threw the dagger at the beast, hoping to direct it to the Right. But alas, it missed.

Unlike most of the creatures present, Before's dismay and shock and reason for utter OAO!!!!!-ness had nothing to do with the festival itself. Before was flailing in his run-down golem because the ******** HUGE FISH wasn't done with its assault. And if it ran out of booths to demolish before they could take it down, the logic center of the hunter's brain prompted him to assume that THEY WERE NEXT!! NOOOOOO!!!!!

OH s**t WHADOIDO WHADOIDOOO!?!?!?!

Calm down and find something to attack with. I would volunteer if it were possible but perhaps you can find something suitable to hurl. Preferably something you can actually lift or had experience with? Vanna suggested.

The hunter-in-imp's clothing did as he was told and lo and behold, lying amidst a pile of rubble and splintered wood, he found IT Excaliber! Somewhere, Before could hear a choir breaking out into song as he reverently lifted the boot and took aim. But before Before let sail his deadly attack, he had to choose: Uh, to I send it left or right? I mean, they both have very good reasons to be destroyed and I'm sure it'll piss off or upset a great many creature but I'm thinking left would make more sense because that's where they get them seed-things, what do you think, Vanna? Left?

Take note that this conversation is occurring with Before poised to throw his weapon of choice.

Your reasoning is sound, so right.

Before looked confused but as he'd gotten his weapon's opinion for a reason, the hunter's throw would move the ******** HUGE FISH to the Right.

What!? I thought you were aiming to move it left!?

B-but you said RIGHT! O.o ;A;!!!!

There was ~awkward silence~ in Before's head. >.>

... Next time I will say correct...
