"Then you know nothing of the fae." Seth declared, but his voice very well controlled. "There are few sides to the fae, the main to categories being the Seelie, and Unseelie. The ones you just described as being such villains are the Unseelie. Which by the way you're an Unseelie yourself." Seth pointed out, he wasn't being smug or anything, just matter-of-factly. He then looked pensive, "Which language of the fae did your mother speak in, because they're not all collective or the same I can assure you of that. Or if you don't know, have any other faes been able to speak a similar or the same language? I find it odd for a human to be able to speak in the tongue of 'mystic' beings."

"My mother spook neither that of my foster family or that of my tormentors," Lucian replied. He then cocked his head to the side and thaught about something before saying, "now that I think about it, I did hear it once before after swearing off killing of humans. It was near the wall in between the North and South gate to the city. I didn't think of it at the time but it was most defienitly the same language, sortove like a combonation of both with a human twist to it. They to instilled fear in me and I ran from them."

"Wait- wait. Between the North and South gate.... what was there?" Seth asked his tone was soft and yielded back to his manners, "If you could explain that is?"

"They were outside, I know that much. I Judge the gates by the location to the tower I see over the wall," Lucian said, "The only thing I could see from the ground was a broken roof, so I'm guessing an old part or run down part of town."

"You're not being specifice here. What was there?" Seth pushed on, not quite getting what had happened. Was it a scripture, was there someone there?

"The wall was as bleak as those around it while the buildings behind it were delapedated. The forest leading up to this section of the wall was had leaves but were obviously dead for a mile in," Lucian said. "From what I could tell, there were two people there, talking to each other. One was dressed casually, like he was out on a stoll on the edges of the forest, but was armed with a big weapon of some kind. The other was a man dressed in robes of grey and was hard to see. When I got within hearing range, near the edge of the forest, I heard their voices and the language. The first voice was deep and ordered command and came from the one without the robes. The other voice was high pitched but obviously came from a guy and it was that of a soldier addressing his captian," he finished.

Seth's eyes widened. "Are you sure of this? What did the man look like?" His voice low but solid. Officers! Associated with the fae? This of which he was not aware of, and of all things that should be in his knowledge. Those of the fae would come to him if there were any issues, and he'd learn plenty from his men in the company, whether superior or not in ranking. Whether if Lucian was being honest or not- but from everything he heard and saw in Lucian suggested he was being honest- the information would prove valuable in itself, and the fact that it had happened years ago could show that perhaps whatever was happening now was premeditated.

((Well your asking the impossible. I can't even think of something that specific. I may read a lot of books but im no author. But fine I'll TRY, after all i did have testing to take care off.))
Lucian looked hard at the ground, forcing himself to remember anything at all. "Well he had glasses, fair skin, dark long hair and was maybe six foot tall," he said thinking hard, "That's pretty much all I can remember."

Seth nodded firmly jotting down every detail in his mind, this would bring him to later on look through the officers and the records for anyone fitting the description. Though he found that the mention of long hair would probably make for useless today. " Alright then..."He said under his breath, the officer looked over to Lucian, "I suppose... perhaps you'd want my story in turn... Why me, a human, smells of the fae?"

"That would be most... Informative," Lucian replied, not letting his interest show in any way, not even a twitch. He furled and unfurled his waings once and then leaned up against the tree again.

Jay Acumora "That would be most... Informative," Lucian replied, not letting his interest show in any way, not even a twitch. He furled and unfurled his waings once and then leaned up against the tree again. Seth looked to Lucian, and then closed his eyes for a moment remembering his hometown. "I was born out in the rural town of Aegledun, full of farms, acres of wheat, oat, barley... orchards, vineyards... you name it. Farms with all sorts of livestock... I can remember it all pretty clearly even now. Ours was a small one, we grew a bunch of grains, and spice plants, and a few exotic bearing plants that my father would bring home after his voyages, and with the forest as a our backyard. There was also one milking cow, and about a dozen hens, and that god-forsaken rooster. I swear to Mary I was one time close to swinging that thing's head off.." He laughed "I lived in that small house on that small farm, usually with my dad... if and when he wasn't away. He was a high-ranking officer in the military." Seth smiled with bittersweet reminiscence and rubbed his thumb against one of his badges. "It was all good. I could say..."

"Seems like a pretty normal life to me," Lucian said. It was a hell of a lot better then his that was for sure. At least she knew family love for a long time, even if it was from time to time. Living on a farm seemed like a better life any way you put it, also.

"It was more or less- except that I could see faeries. I would wander into the forest just to meet them all, even if some of them didn't want to be my friend." Seth glanced to Lucian, his eyes glowing in the dark- reflecting the moonlight. "See, when I was born. My mom died shortly after giving birth to me... And I was stillborn. Apparently my heart was too weak, and it failed me. My father couldn't stand losing his family. So he summoned an old faerie friend, and she was a force of nature to reckon with. A pact was made, and she loaned me her heart... When I was ten my father got injured and was honorably discharged..he couldn't do much around the farm. And I would watch him grow more and more depressed even when he tried to hide it. When I was twelve, the faerie came back to reclaim her heart... after all she could only live so long without it... But I as a child was reluctant, and my father was desperate. I was there eavesdropping. When he offered up his life so I could live longer I burst in and cried for him not to...." Seth grew silent, a distant loo in his eyes, a distant that had to be painful for him. Seth smiled appreciatively. "But he did it for me. I tended to the farm and the faerie watched over me, sending servants to tend to me. She also trained me to become a better fighter. When I turned 14 I kinda grew sick of it all, moving here to Bellabost. at the age of 16 I enlisted, and then as the years went on and I showed my worth in battle I rose through the rankings."
