More balls came flying in his direction. Now there were too many for him to dodge effectively and as a result, he took a few hits. Hissing, Shun was starting to get pretty pissed off now, so he just grabbed a pair of balls and flung one each at Xiu and Lizzy. Again, aiming for the faces. He didn't care if he hit or not, he just had enough of this. Then, glancing away, he just disappeared into a puff of smoke.

It was hard to say where he was in the arcade now.

"S..Shun?" Mitsu questioned seeing that the reaper had suddenly vanished after throwing the last two balls. "Shun?" She asked again looking around to see if the reaper was anywhere nearby. It wasn't until she swept across the area again that she realized her visibility was a little better than usual. Confused she reached up to touch her mask and ended up touching her bare face.

For a long moment there was silence as Mitsu stood frozen realizing her mask was not on her face and she had no real idea where it was. A small squeak escaped her mouth as she dived back below the ball pit to hide not sure what to do. Was her mask here somewhere?

"Hm...?" She blinked, pausing before turning around when Xiu stopped to go back deeper into the ball pit, "Is something wrong with Mitsu?" She had heard the squeak from the werewolf as well, but had missed the werewolf's sudden duck back into the ball pit.

She quickly followed after Xiu, standing beside her as she bent over to try to grab a hold of Mitsu. At the Baku's comment, Lizzy frowned, "Dropped something in the ball pit...?" That would be troublesome to find, considering the amount of plastic balls in the pit; they could probably look for it, but they'll need to know what Mitsu lost first.

Even before she spoke, it was clear what Mitsu had lost. Looking at the ghoul's exposed face, Xiu waded her way over towards her to rest a hand on her shoulder...wherever it was submerged beneath all the balls. "D-don't worry, Mitsu," Xiu assured her as she moved to another end of the pit and began to search, "Lizzy and I will help you find it!"

She shot a look of concern over to the demoness before diving back into the pit herself, reaching out and running her fingers along her surroundings. The oddly-shaped thing that she had felt before...that must have been the mask. Unfortunately, with all the movement, it seemed to have been shifted away from where she had first felt it.

Oh dear. And where was Shun in addition to all of this?

[Roll 1d12; get 6 to grab the mask? owo]

"Ah!" Like Xiu, she immediately noticed that Mitsu's mask was missing; while a small, tiny part of her was kind of hoping for this to help the werewolf deal with not having the mask around, she knew that it might be too soon for her to do it in a public place... Ironically, it sort of reminded her of Mot and his hat; those two seem to share a similar relationship.

Then again, she did manage to get Mot to go out with her without his hat...

"Yup! We'll help you find it for sure!" She nodded before going in a different direction, hoping to help cover more ground as she bent over, putting her arms into the ball pit and feeling for anything that was out of the ordinary. Since they had no idea where the mask could be by now, she could only hope to find it by chance.

Stopping all of a sudden, she sighed, straightening up and looking around again; they could use an extra pair of hands, really! "Mmm," She murmured to herself before digging her eyephone out, scrolling through her contacts until the name 'Shun the Kitten' appeared; she had to stop herself from giggling at the name - they were on a serious mission to retrieve Mitsu's mask after all - as she called the number.

Poor Mitsu seemed so much more nervous without her mask! The Baku also wanted the have her friend ease off of her dependence of the item eventually, but...it was too sudden right now. If they couldn't find the mask or if it had broken (she feared that one of them may have accidentally stepped on it in their scramble) then what would they do?

Shoving away this pessimistic thought, Xiu pressed her lips together in a thin line as she pushed the plastic balls aside. Surely the mask couldn't have got too far from where it was last time! ...Hopefully, anyways!

She poked her head out for a moment to check on Lizzy, noting that the other ghoul had her phone out. Was she trying to call Shun? "Good plan. Maybe he could help too." Smiling hopefully, she dived back down to search again.

"Hi," She replied in an equally flat tone upon hearing Shun's voice, holding the phone to her ear with one hand as she bent down, her other hand digging through the ball pit for the mask, "Mitsu's mask dropped off and vanished into the ball pit. We might need an extra pair of hands to look for it... Xiu, Mitsu and myself are currently looking around, but the ball pit is pretty big and deep, so it's a little, uh, difficult..."

As she spoke, Lizzy moved around, shuffling her feet in fear of accidentally stepping on the mask; while she wasn't sure how strong it was, she did not wish to find out in such a manner.

"Anyway, do come and help out, alright?" She frowned, straightening up, "Sorry, can't talk much right now. See you!" Without waiting for a reply - she did apologize! - she hung up and pocketed the eyephone before resuming her search for Mitsu's mask, using both hands now that they were both free.

"Don't worry, Mitsu! I'm sure we'll find--!" As Xiu grasped around blindly, her fingers met that same, strange-shaped object that she had felt a while ago. The Baku immediately went to make a grab for her, but her movement--along with the shuffling of the other two ghouls--resulted in the object getting pushed further away.

Surfacing, Xiu tried to dig the balls away from the top, but the mask was gone. "I...I felt it! But then it was pushed away, and..."" Ahh, which direction could it have gone? With all these balls, it could take them hours to find the mask...unless they shoveled out the balls, but she was certain that the staff wouldn't be very pleased by that.

At least Shun was on his way. Hopefully, at least--she had heard Lizzy's call.
